This was a last minute dinner take out choice. We had a few veggie sushi rolls and a shrimp tempura roll. Not bad but I can't say it was memorable. The restaurant is in a food hall with a few other restaurants to choose from. They also have a small dining area to dine in.

I've enjoyed lunch and dinner here. compared to the other location the rolls were carefully made and attention to details as far as each slice being of the same size. I was told that things slow down in the winter so as long as the streets are clear I'll enjoy taking a short drive north to enjoy great quality. Seafood that's fresh and we'll made. 17/ 2023 Food 5 Ambiance 4 Service 5 Location 5 Value 5

We had an enjoyable first visit to Screaming Tuna in the Mequon Public Market. It was our first time in the market too - plenty of space, clean, bright, pleasant. I absolutely love the mural on the wall done by (former) local artist Taylor Herzog. We have been to the Screaming Tuna in downtown Milwaukee and their sushi is good, so the Mequon location matched expectations. The Spicy Tuna roll we ordered was good but nothing mind blowing. The Tonkatsu Ramen was good as well, but also nothing mind blowing. The flavors could have used a little more variety from the add-ins. The pork belly was a little overdone and dry vs tender and melt-in-your-mouth like you'd usually find. A solid bowl of ramen. The service was pleasant and helpful! We enjoyed our visit over all, and we would definitely go back if we were in the area. The public market is nice and has options for everyone.

Awesome dinner with a girlfriend. Great New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and the spicy garlic edamame were fantastic as an appetizer! We split a spicy tuna roll and screaming tuna roll, the best! Our server was so cute and friendly.

Dined here a few days ago when my cousin and I did a quick day trip to Wisconsin during my Chicago vacation that's about to conclude. What was funny was I had poke on the brain when we walked into the Mequon Public Market, but changed my mind when I saw the restaurant. Save for a man and a woman at one of the booths, we were the only customers before the lunch rush. It made it easy for the nice woman at the counter -- her name's lost on me, unfortunately -- to tend to us. My cousin had the ramen while I chose the Chicken Katsu. Before our meals arrived, we helped ourselves to Tsukune and Tempura Appetizer. Both did well to set us up for lunch. The chicken meatball skewers leaned towards addicting. If it were up to me, I'd eat my weight in them. The tempura had that hot-off-the-grill freshness. It was so delicious that sauce was basically unnecessary. Drizzled with a spicy, tangy mayonnaise, the Chicken Katsu filled me up nicely. It was accompanied by a solid bed of rice, which was infused with a unique kick from the entrée and the mayo. The pieces were a solid size to where I ate the contents of the meal separately. With chopsticks, of course. And before I forget, I really like the business's name. If anything, I do want to scream from the rooftops as to how great it is. This review will do, though.

Stopped in for lunch today. It was my 3rd visit to this location, and my experiences have all been very good! Today I ordered the Shekhar specialty roll with tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, avocado, wasabi mayo, and sriracha, and the Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen. The sushi roll was delicious and provided different textures, and the ramen checked all the boxes for me when it comes to Tonkotsu, which is my go-to style. The broth was well-seasoned with a milky texture. The noodles were perfectly cooked with the right texture and held the flavor of the broth. The pork belly was tender enough to be pulled apart with the chop sticks, and they were mostly lean, so if you don't like fatty pork belly, these would be perfect for you. I would have liked some fat in the pork belly for additional flavor, but this pork belly hit the spot! My server checked on my periodically, and I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar, next to the window. Screaming Tuna is one of the 3 or 4 businesses in the Mequon Public Market that I go back to when I'm in the area, which isn't often. They have a large enough menu for different tastes. Check them out!

I visited Screaming Tuna in the Mequon public market because I was in the area and craving Ramen. I went around lunch time and was able to add some shrimp into my ramen which I'm happy about because it was the best thing I ate there. I wasn't a fan of the ramen. It lacked flavor- I had the mushroom ramen as they were out of the pork belly. I would venture to guess the pork belly ramen is more tasty. I also had some spicy tuna which was good. I tried a bit of my friends appetizer and nothing really stood out to me. I will say the service was a positive as my friend forgot to order something without seafood to accommodate her allergy and they remade it right away. This might've been a time where I just ended up ordering the wrong thing.

**Update** Revisited for a friend's birthday because she was set on Ramen. The ramen was delicious . Crispy tuna and crab wonton appetisers absolutely awesome . Our server was attentive and welcoming, though perhaps slightly overwhelmed with multiple tables. Still no real wasabi, unfortunately. And the sushi/sashimi is still the weakest link here. The potential for this place is huge - there are very few (almost zero) options for ramen or sushi nearby - a few tweaks could go a long way ‍.

Went to Screaming Tuna in Mequon last night since I was around the area and craved for Uni. The place is a bit tight but again it's within the Mequon Market that also has plenty of upstairs space for eating if you order take out. I got sashimi appetizer and Uni maki. It's hard to find restaurants that offers uni so I'll say this is my go to place for uni. The fish was fresh and the salmon especially just melted in my mouth! The uni was delicious as always. If you haven't had uni before, I would say it's a buttery, hint of sweet but salty taste of lobster. (Best way i can explain it) The staffs are great! Our waiter was very attentive and always filled our glasses even if it only half empty! Sadly we didn't catch her name but way to go on your service.

Always such an enjoyable experience, from the food, the staff and atmosphere. Jimmy K was SO kind and responsive. Love that this is an option in the North shore area - yet just as great as the OG Mke location. I mean, just look at these rolls

Typical sushi in Milwaukee area. Not terrible, not great. Overpriced and waitress is unfriendly.

Excellent sushi. Recommend the Mean Green roll. I love that their menu says "gluten free" on which items, helps us a lot.

Great food for either dining in or ordering out. Which they would bring some of the downtown location menu items but off to a solid start.

Though, on a very hot day with hot ramen (though they also do sushi) the front should be shut. As for the Ramen. Some stuff worked and some didn't. The egg was delicious, soft boiled perfectly with jammy yolks and had great soy sauce flavor. The noodles were not over cooked and the meat was tender and flavorful. However, both mine and my husbands broth (I had the black garlic he had the pork) were not so great. Almost a metallic taste to them. Also, almost no vegetables in the Ramen. I was pretty disappointed. Mine only had green onions in it. The tempura was also kinda soggy. Some piece were crispy but on the broccoli and sweet potato, they were soggy. The server was great. They were very attentive. We did not complain about the food because we were hot and just wanted to hurry up instead of waiting longer. Also, they need to fix some of their tables that are very wobbly!

She was able to describe how the various entries are constructed and the ingredients included. She also talked intelligently about the noodles that are made "in house" and what entries fit best with which noodles. We started with hot White tea and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The White Tea was very good, especially on this cold afternoon. (5 stars). The shrimp tempura was just okay. The breading was a bit oily and did not adhere to the shrimp. (2 1/2 Stars). I ordered the seafood Ramen and loved the flavor and the freshness of the ingredients. The Scallops were extremely good, great taste, and cooked just right. (5 Stars). Our server was soo nice and on top of it!! There's super cute decor and art on the walls. Loved it! They have anime playing on 3 different tvs! We tried their house sale and it was good. We were there during happy hour so we took advantage of the buy one get one app 1/2 price off. We had the drunken mussels and birria bao. I wasn't too impressed with the birria bao, but loved the mussels!!! I had kimchi ramen and the boyfriend had seafood ramen. We both ate it all up it was so yummy!! I can't complain about a bit of it. It's a large portion so you can take some home too!! We added the black garlic but I wasn't impressed and found it tasting and feeling like just charred garlic instead of actual black garlic or fermented garlic. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect but I wouldn't add it again. Lastly we did get to try the Fire sushi roll and this was the absolute highlight of the meal for me! I loved it so much I had to bring another roll home with me! I couldn't get enough!!! i would visit this place again. It was fun, delicious and chill.
