    Entry to Obstacle Course

My family and I are visiting from SA for our son's summer camp and found this place 3 minutes away, so we thought we would try it out since he loves all things ninja. He could not wait to get going. The check-in person was prompt and had him on his way in no time. The floor staff were attentive to him as he tried out different obstacles. He played non-stop for an hour and wished he could have stayed longer. Definitely a clean, well-organized, and fun place to let your ninja play and practice his/her skills.

This is a crazy cool place! Today is their grand opening and the place is amazing! We had the chance to come out about a month ago and do their mobil obstacle course and had a blast! We couldn't get my 11 year old off! I think he did it about a dozen times! So couldn't wait for today! I am really looking forward to coming here and getting back in shape. I love that there are tons of things to do and there are obstacle courses for pretty much any level. The staff are awesome! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. If you have ever watched American Ninja Warrior or a similar show and wondered how you could get in on the action or maybe work your way up to it, this is the place to go.

My kids had a lot of fun for the one hour they were there. They were worn out after their session. It is a great place to bring an active kid. There was a lot of staff which is helpful to make sure nobody gets hurt. The staff was also friendly.

Lots of variety!! Emily is great with my kids. Air conditioning much appreciated! This is a great location that is close to my children's school. The pricing is reasonable.

Kid approved. Great outing. Sure to keep the kids in the neighborhood happy, healthy and safe.

I had a really fun and great experience. It was adult and kid-friendly, where the courses are still challenging. It was also really nice of Antwan to spot me on the wall and showed the group how to navigate some of the courses. Highly recommended facility.

The best is Texas! My 5-year old daughter thrives here. The staff is the best with the kids and always offering up new challenges.

    Coach and the kids

The kids had an amazing time at Ninja Nation! Coach Antoine (I hope that is how his name is spelled.) was attentive and gave the kids helpful tips to reach their goals. There were staffs throughout the facility that were encouraging and friendly. We recommended Ninja Nation to all our friends and families!

Austin, TX 78741, it quickly jumped to 4 stars. This obviously doesn't bode well for the above-referenced facility. What helped determine the increase in stars was the immediate response to my complaint about what happened on my second visit here. The manager emailed to offer his apology and asked how he could make up for the poor service I encountered from a couple of his staff members. His apology was enough for me, considering I don't live in Austin and was visiting. The manager's concern for the customer goes a long way in my opinion and determination of my reviews. I commend the manager for his attentiveness and concern for his clients. I recommend that he clean his store with a little more elbow grease.

In this locations defense, the manager at this location did reach out eventually and have a conversation with me - they also hired some new staff members for the early morning 5AM shift that are more attentive and can be seen cleaning, however, issues unfortunately remain at this location that warrant a follow up. Having been to at least 10 different PF locations around Austin' and the greater surrounding area I can unequivocally state that this location remains to be the worst that I frequent which is unfortunate considering this Anderson Mill is the one closest in proximity to my 9-5 I'm writing this review so that additional resources can be put into the Anderson Mill location in order to remedy the ONGOING (several months) issues with the showers. This location has gone weeks with multiple showers being out of order due to an ongoing and unresolved leak. This means for those of us that shower after our workout prior to heading into our jobs we either had to wait in a line of people before using facilities (or in my case) have to cut my gym session short 10-15min in order to be the first in the shower to avoid congestion. Fast forward several weeks EVERY shower is now non-functional due to that same leak creating mold This poses an even greater inconvenience as now members have NO ability to shower after their workouts before heading into work. Not sure what can be done to address this but it's made working out at this location extremely cumbersome - the signs posted to the now closed off showers clearly state "BEING REMEDIED FOR MOLD". My presumption based on this locations history is that this leak and mold issue will likely NOT be fixed expeditiously - not being able to shower prior to my work shift after sweating is not ideal. I am now having to look at Golds Gym within the same proximity so that I can continue my morning workout schedule as I require shower facilities after working out prior to heading into work - a major inconvenience considering I've been a member of PF for over a decade at this point with this gym being my primary. Not stoked about having to carry/pay for 2 gym memberships nor am I even sure Gold's Gym offers a month to month option with no contract; at this point, however, I am not sure I have any other option in the interim. I was able to secure a $30 per month membership since I signed a contract for 12 months, and that grants me access to any location that is the same or lower tier. I have been to cycling classes with Megan Smith and yoga classes with Kayur Patel. Both instructors are so friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. All the staff members that work out at the front desk are so friendly, the always greet me and say goodbye. I was surprised to see so many lifting platforms and different machines I have never seen before. The only complaints that I have is that since this is an older gym, many of equipment is dinged up, but still operable. Also, instead of a posing room, I wished they used the space for a more functional amenity, like a hydromassage bed or a red-light therapy bed. If you are looking for an affordable gym where you can get a great cardio and/or strength training work out, this establishment is a great option since they have a vast variety of machines and equipment.

What a great experience so far. Requested information via the Yelp projects and John from Austin…read moreSimply Fit reached out promptly. Scheduled a call to review my needs and was able to get into Eric's schedule for a Friday assessment. The gym is quaint and quiet, I've driven by a million times. The parking is a bit odd, a few spots up front where you have to reverse onto S Lamar when exiting...sooo that can be a challenge. They have parking in the rear of the building which is great however there is a single entry way and well, not sure how multiple cars could park and get out. Just know your reverse skills need to be on point. The gym inside has everything you'd need and since it's not open to the public it's just the clients and trainers. That means no waiting for machines and no one looking at you while you're there. Eric is great, he's very easy to talk to and made the whole experience easy. Upon arrival we walked through the questionnaire filled out online to find out the why behind the personal training inquiry. He then did a body scan for weight and fat %, took blood pressure three times as well. Gave a quick tour of the gym and how things work then it was onto the physical movement assessment. Nothing too crazy, range of motion and flexibility tasks. Took an hour for the initial visit and came back the next day to finish a few small exercises then learn the warm up needed prior to sessions. No membership needed as you buy the session in backs, 5, 10, 20 and can be used how you want. Like that there's no long term contract to sign. Session will start in the next week or so with focus on building/repairing the base/functional imbalances before getting into the fun part. Time will tell how this goes, wish me luck!
