This place keeps plain pizza on top of the glass display box, today the pizza was covered in flies, when I informed the cashier she did nothing, I phoned the manager and he responded " we don't have flies." Had a Nino's Special pizza and order of garlic knots to go. Called in the order and it was ready in 20 minutes. Really good time, especially for a Friday night! The toppings were generous and the pizza had a good flavor. The garlic knots were doused with garlic butter and I liked that a lot. The only down side was the dough. The pizza crust had a good taste and was cooked right, but it was too chewy and tough. You really have to hold onto your dentures when tearing into a piece of this pizza. read more

Nino's was my last stop on my weekend tour of Vero Beach. We'd just spent all day out on the boat and we wanted something quick and filling before I had to get on the road. My friend suggested Nino's as "its been around forever." We were both hungry so we decided to go ahead and order a whole pizza. We went with the Nino's Special - cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. It was delicious! The crust was just the right thickness and nice and crispy. The toppings were fresh and I liked that the onions and peppers were lightly sauteed before ending up on the pizza. I HATE crunchy veggies on a pizza. The sauce wasn't super flavorful, but it made the taste and freshness of the toppings stand out. They weren't busy when we arrived at around 5pm on a Sunday - we seemed to have beaten the rush. Wonderful lil gem in Vero Beach, Florida. From the outside it looks a bit like a dive-bar or a very old restaurant. Recently ate here again and was so excited, only to be disappointed. We got the Nino's special pizza. We've eaten here at least once every trip down since the spring of 2010. This was the 3rd time we've gotten this particular pizza, 1st time it was so-so, last year at this time it was delicious, So it's doubly disappointing to have it be so blah this time. Christmas Eve and nearly every place was closed...but Nino's was open and their employees didn't take it out on the customers. In fact, they were downright pleasant. Was the pizza the best I ever tasted? No...but it was still pretty good. The dine in area looked simple but cozy just like an old style Italian joint. MANAGER HANGS UP ON GOOD CUSTOMERS Have been going here weekly for years. Today we ordered 3 hero's. Salads and 2 large pies. Specifically told girl on phone we would pick up order at 4 pm. I placed the order at 230. I mentioned 3 or 4 times we would be there at 4. We picked up the Oder at 4 pm. Paid $80 & went home only to see the 2 pies burnt and dry. Called and complained to girl on phone. She had nothing to say. Then I asked to speak to manager. He told me I never mentioned I wasnt getting it til 4 pm. I argued that I did. I told him I spoke to the girl who took the order over the phone and specifically told her we won't be there til 4. I heard him ask her, and she said I never mentioned the time we were picking it up and that's what happens when they make the pizza and keep it warm. He was short, rude. & pissy. I told him there are plenty of other pizza places to eat at, that we are good customers, and she was lying to cover her a**. He told me to go elsewhere then hung up. I've been a fan of Nino's Corner for 4 years, eating there weekly, mostly in the daytime. Sunday night May 1st I had a horrible experience. They were crowded, so some delay is/was understandable. But it took an hour for the folks next to me to get their meal from the kitchen (not the pizza part). Mine took 40 minutes. My meat came well-one, when I'd ordered it medium-rare and the fries were lukewarm. I was reluctant to send it back due to the inordinate wait time. 4-5 tables were left dirty, unused, for most of my time there. When the host/bus-person finally took the dishes away, he didn't wipe or sanitize the tables but left them as is for another 10 minutes or so. Alan, that night's manager, came out when I requested. He yelled at me, telling me not to come back to Nino's. My judgment = poorly managed by him, not so much the fault of individual employees. read more

Came in on a monday evening, and seen it was small place, busy for sure....i waited 20 minutes for a table. No biggie. Waits happen. I got the chicken gyro...was damn good. Tho they put too much taziki sauce on it. Which made the flat bread soggy, didnt bother me.... Only issue, i got a beer when i sat down, was there for two hours, never offered a new beer or different drink, not sure why, but kinda disappointed when the waitress seen my empty mug multiple times within the two hours and made no offer to get a drink....i have no problem to ask, but waiting for a hour to be offered a different drink, i decided to see if i would ever be offered, which i wasnt....besides the drink issue...this place is damn good read more

Ninos has a very extensive menu (Italian based but offer a burger among other non-Italian menu offerings...). Ninos Corner is located along a heavily traveled part of Hwy 60 heading East into Vero Beach from I-95. The have a carry out counter, outside tables and inside dining. The building itself is well worn, seems like it's been here forever. The prices are very reasonable (low) and food fresh made. The waitresses are very attentive and they were the bright spot of my dining experience. Overall it is a decent restaurant with good food. read more

Nino's is hands-down, our favorite little Italian joint. They have an excellent red sauce, which makes all the difference in the world. The Maria pizza with fresh mozzarella, spinach, and garlic is our favorite! The calzones are outstanding. The last time I went, I ordered a Greek salad with blackened chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was delicious, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Their garlic knots are also amazing. We have never ordered anything there that we didn't love or was disappointing. We have been patrons at Ninos for at least 20 years. If you love New York style pizzeria food, this is the place to go. I do have to say the portions have gotten somewhat smaller since Covid. The service is great, waitresses, always sweet, friendly, and very accommodating. I always order a glass of Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay and it's a very healthy size pour! Most lunches and dinners we eat outside. The traffic can sometimes be noisy, but we just love sitting outside to eat. I've personally believe the prices are really good for the quality of food. read more

I've been to both Nino's Cafe and Nino's Corner. At both locations, the table tops and the seats could use a deep cleaning as they were a bit sticky. The service is quickly and the pizza is sufficiently good. During the afternoon, I like that you can get table service even by ordering pizza slices. Overall, decent pizza. This location is not as nice as the one on the beach. There is a coin laundromat next door and some neighborhood stores across the street with worn out storefronts. read more

This is a very casual, typical traditional pizzeria/Italian restaurant in Vero. It looks like a total dive from outside but it's more cozy inside. There is a counter if you want non-sit down service:just order at the counter, take a seat at the stool bar, and you'll get your food shortly after ordering. We went with the sit-down experience and grabbed the last table in the small dining room. Service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered an appetizer of garlic knots but since one of us ordered a pasta dish, which comes with them, she insisted on not charging us and just sticking a few extra in the basket. So the garlic knots were soft and hot and had sufficient garlic. Not a fan of the marinara- too watery and not enough flavor. The pasta dishes also come with a salad-iceberg lettuce, onions, cucumbers, and tomato. Blue cheese is made in-house so it's 50 cents extra. The pasta dish ordered by my fiancé was the meat lasagna. The portion was large and it was equal parts cheesy and meaty he said. I tried a bite and it was fine- definitely nothing out of this world. I had a steak salad-romaine, Gorgonzola, tomato, cucumber, onions, and chopped steak. The steak was on par with typical "sub shop" steak- not sliced but chopped. It was a hearty portion of meat and the salad was also large. It could have used more Gorgonzola though. The other member of our party ordered the Greek salad. For an entree, I was surprised by the size and it had a generous amount of feta. They have cheap alcohol too-$5 beers and wines. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because my milkshake was actually the only good thing I ordered. From the beginning I called and ordered a big beef burger, garlic knots and a strawberry milkshake. Total order was 11.70 which included delivery. So the guy comes and I see a burger and a shake. I call ninos and the girl apparently didn't hear me when I said garlic knots. She didn't apologize for the mistake. So I paid $11.70 for a shake and burger that was sloppy and soggy which gave me no choice but to eat it with a knife and fork. That takes away the point of eating a burger. We had never been to Nino's Corner before. Each time we passed by, the parking lot was crowded - normally a good sign. So, on our way home from a trip to South Florida we stopped by and ordered a meat stromboli - to go. When we arrived home 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant, we cut the stromboli in half and began to eat. My first bite was a disappointment - and things didn't improve. We like mushrooms, but I don't like mushrooms to be anything more than a part of the meal - the stromboli was covered with them. The stromboli itsellf had no taste and the sauce added little or nothing. In short, we won't be returning to Nino's Corner - for anything, and we won't be recommending it to our friends. We can't figure out why so many people patronize this place - other than to say Zero Beach has few good eating places so the populace must have just gotten used to bad food...what a pity! read more

The service we got was great my toddler spilled my drink and I felt awful but the waitress came out and cleaned it up, even comforted my little man who was upset at what he did, then she brought his a free drink of his own. Burgers. and fries are good, and the shakes are amazing but the pizza is really greasy, and the chicken strips are horrible. Honestly, the food is great. Correction, the food is great when it is made correctly. The young women who work the phones and the front of house are abhorrent. They do not listen to you, they rush you, they are rude, and they get your order wrong 80% of the time. Again, the food is great, when you get your correct order. However, getting your correct order is as common as a blue moon. So, we tried actually going to the restaurant to eat. I ordered the manicotti and everyone else ordered a baked pasta and/or a pizza. Flash forward to 45 minutes later, everyone at the table had their food except me. I continued to wait... over an hour later it arrived to my table in a to go container. Cold. Always a favorite spot in Vero! Great staff, real neighborhood feel and incredibly delicious food. Even the coffee is good! Of course, the pizza is great but the salads and pastas are surprisingly good and very fresh. I stop there every time I'm even nearby as it really is the best around and super casual. Just great food. Go. Try it. UPDATE Again, every trip includes a stop at Ninos and today was really worth it. The wings were great - just enough heat and a little touch of sweet. So good.
