Nino's has great pizza! We get it every Friday night. They deliver in a timely manner.

Returned to Nino's today for the first time in about 10 years as it is nearly 50 miles from our home. As I remembered, the food was good and decent priced. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. We ordered a large sausage pizza and 3 appetizers....onion rings, zucchini, and potato wedges. The onion rings and zucchini came first and were very good. We got the normal ranch dressing for the zucchini and a garlic dressing for the onion rings. Garlic dressing was excellent. Wedges came next and were quite tasty. Probably would have been nice had the waitress asked if we wanted some ketchup. Anyhow...the best happened next. About 1/2 way thru the wedges, the waitress arrived at our table and told us she accidently gave our pizza to another table. She assured us that they didn't do anything to the pizza but had eaten 4 slices. She then proceeded to ask us if that was ok, or if we would prefer a new pizza......What did she think????? After asking for a new pizza, she proceeded to place the order (already about 45 minutes into the meal by now). She came back and asked if we wanted refills while we waited, so of course we said yes. About 15 minutes later, we FINALLY received our pizza. The sausage, cheese, and sauce tasted great, but it was apparent that they rushed as the crust was undercooked. Time comes to pay the bill, and to our amazement, not only was NOTHING comped for our troubles, she had the audacity to charge us EACH $1.55 for the soda's we had while waiting for her to correct her screw up! We didn't argue and simply paid the bill. What a shame as a worthless waitress actually ruined what was otherwise a pretty good meal....hence the 3 stars. placed carry out order at nino's yesterday - never again will i go with family or friends to this restaurant. the pub burger deluxe was horrible, we tossed the entire deluxe meal in the garbage can. the pickle wrapped separately dripped on the fries and made them soggy. i called the next morning to not complain but to advise the person on the phone of our experience. to my surprise he didn't seem concerned, said he was sorry and of course offered nothing at all to compensate us at least just a little dessert or something small. as for me and my family we will never again visit this establishment and for sure would not refer anyone to dine at nino's in alsip, illinois. read more

This is the pizza place of choice when it comes to my family. Anytime I ask my dad where he wants pizza, the first thing he says is "How about you go to Nino's?" This place is exactly what you should be looking for. You can call for carry out, or you can sit down and eat with you family. It's also a great place for a date, in my opinion. Just sayin', fellas. But serious, I would definitely recommend this place. The pizza is awesome, and if you're pizza is big enough (an 18", I believe), you get not one, so TWO one liters of your choice. They have a wide variety to choose from, so you don't have to settle with something like an RC. Plus, as I found out last time I came in, if you sign up for their text alerts, you get half off your pizza on every Monday! That's like $12 for an 18"! I was at Nino's last week to meet up with some friends for dinner by a recommendation of a coworker. This was the worst decision of my life. This place is nothing but a disgrace to my Italian heritage. First the pizza is so greasy that you could probably fry a chicken in all the grease that was on the pizza. It was also soggy and bland, I even doubt that the cheese was even real. The pizza tasted like they warmed up grocery store frozen pizza in a microwave and served it to us. Horrendous!! My friend ordered their "world famous chicken", well I guess it must be only world famous in third world countries as it was pretty uneatable. It was so dry as if it was made in the morning, left all day under warming lamps, then microwaved or re-fried to get it back to temperature. Pitiful. When I thought it could not get any worse, my combo sandwich came. When I cut it in half to eat it that is when I saw the disaster. The "sausage" was nothing but a dry, shriveled up piece of meat and the roast beef was grey and looked old. I would of probably of better off eating my leather shoe, at least that would have been more tender. Disgraceful! To top it all, all of us were sick for the next few days from the food. To sum it up, if you are looking for horrendous food that not even a starving homeless person wouldn't eat, or need an excuse to not go to work due to being sick then Nino's is your place! read more

I ordered a Pizza over a hour and a half ago, the girl said it would only take 45-60. So I called and asked to speak to the manager, I told him I have people at my home waiting and hungry, he tells me I don't know what to tell you, Your wasting my time right now, I could be getting it out....wait what First getting it out? it hasn't left? The manager was the rudest guy I have ever spoken to. I told him this would be my last order he said good I'll hold you to that!!! WHAT? Who deals with customers like this? The guy was so rude I will never order there again and suggest you don't either!!!!! Trust me I live in the neighborhood and will be spreading the word onthe way they treat their customers!!!!! I'm not sure the earlier reviewers have been there recently but being on the South Side I can honestly say I can think of thousands of better pizza places than Nino's. I like the restaurant-a bit stuck in the past-but that's the best part of the place. Pizza--hot. That is the only positive thing I can I say about the pizza. Unfortunately, I have been there quite recently due to my dad liking it and again, like past visits, I did not feel very well the next day if you know what I mean. Horrific service experience! We recently had a family party at Nino's after loving their pizza for years. Although the food was good, the waitress assigned to our table told my 85 year old grandmother to "sit there and wait" when she asked for a plate to eat her pizza while she wiped an empty table over and over. When my grandfather asked for a soda, she told him "hang on and I'll get it". The icing on the cake was when, after 40 minutes of noticing my daughter's ice cream cake melting on the bar, I went over to find our waitress wiping the candles I gave her for our party's cake with a dirty dish rag after having put them in someone else's cake! Having been in the restaurant industry in the same area for over 40 years, I realize it's difficult to find good help at times, but this was absolutely uncalled for. I will give my business to Russo's from now on. read more

We live around this location for over five years now and pass Nino's almost everyday, but we never dined in. While on Groupon we came across a deal that was $24 for $40 worth of food. My family dined in Wednesday, 12/16/15 around 5:30pm. The greeter was nice and sat us down. However, the waitress name Debbie wasn't as friendly towards my family. I explained to her that this was our first time dining at Nino's and we purchased a Groupon. Debbie seemed to get an instant attitude and wasn't as hospitable towards us like she was to other customers that were obviously frequent diners. Debbie didn't suggest meals that were popular or good. She was irritated and aggravated by any question we asked her. She sighed because my son asked her can he have some sugar for his ice tea. We didn't want to make her angry, after all she was handling our food. She brought back the wrong pizza, which wasn't what I ordered and swore to us that's what she heard I said. We sent the pizza back. I spoke to the Manager and asked if we could get the pizza to go because we were ready to leave!!!! He was nice about it because the Groupon was for "Dine In" only. I left a tip for Debbie and suggested she should be nice to people. If you dine at Nino's avoid Debbie, the older, thin waitress with bad skin and a bad attitude!!!! My family's been coming here since 2012 & we LOVE their pizza, THE BEST! Came in tonight, & it was pretty crowded. They had 2 servers, Debbie & another newer girl & Debbie worked her A$$ OFF with almost NO HELP form the other server. Debbie was running from table to table while the other girl wandered around in LA-LA-LAND! Besides that, Ninos has AWESOME PIZZA, cold beer & a nice family atmosphere. This restaurant is not children friendly especially if your child has special needs. The waitresses are permitted by the owner to yell at your children if they deem their behavior unacceptable. My family was there today and my 8 year old autistic daughter had a meltdown in the corner by the door. I immediately tried to get her up and out of there. While in the process of doing this a short heavy set waitress with short hair (didn't get her name) came up to my daughter pointed her finger in her face and YELLED "you stop yelling and go sit down" i basically told her my daughter has autism and I'm weening her off her meds right now and she replied "i have an autistic nephew and know how to handle it". Implying that i don't know how to handle my daughter. We immediately left so my daughter wasn't further traumatized. When i called the owner he approved of the waitresses actions and called me a bad mother for allowing my daughter to lay on the floor in a busy restaurant...(not kidding those were his exact words). Any parent of a special needs child knows how difficult and hard that role is and wish it was that easy to control a meltdown. But when you call the owner to make them aware of the mistreatment from their staff you expect an apology and a plan to properly educate their staff on special needs children not criticism and to get belittled. read more

Not a fan! The pizza was OK, but the service was terrible. There was only one other family in the restaurant while we were there, but it took the server 20 mins to bring our check to us. NOTHING is more annoying than being held hostage at a restaurant after we've eaten. Then, I look at the bill and noticed there were not free refills, so we paid over $10 for our pop!! We spent over $40 for a large pizza and pop. Would have preferred going to a much tastier southside restaurant for better service, better food, and a better value. We won't be back to Nino's and won't be recommending it. read more

I've been eating Ninos Pizza since 1970. Tom the owner is a great guy (so was his dad) and makes sure you get what you order. If you have your pizza delivered, when Tom says it will be at your house nice and hot, it is. The pizza is Great! You can order what ever you want on your pizza and Ninos will prepare it...you're way. I've never had a bad meat at Ninos. Try it! read more

Absolutely best pizza in the suburbs!!! I drive 25 minutes away to get pizza from here. The prices are great and you will not be let down for the amount you get for the price. A small pan of pizza and large serving of fries is only around 3 or 4 dollars during lunchtime. I have tasted a lot of pizza but nothing tops this pizza. You must taste it! read more

worst restaurant i have ever gone to in my life.. legit.. i had a to go order.. called it in at 12 noon.. for a pick up at 5:30 was waiting until 6 inside to bring it home!!! as i was watching the kitchen behind the pick up counter.. i see a kid with strangly hair.. scratch his head and then touch the food!!!!!!!!!!!! i saw a pan drop on the floor and then i saw them use it!!!!! then they finally take my pizza out of the oven.. and he doesnt let it set.. and just cuts it.. its a deep dish.. and because of that after he put in the box.x.. by the time i got it home all the cheese ran OFF THE PIZZA... i called to speak to a manager.. and the jerk who answered the phone says... " what do you want me to do about it" SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! and i asked to speak to a manager.. and he said i am the manager.. this place sucks.. dont bother going. you will be eating with hair in your food around staff with attitude problems. read more

I purchased a groupon for Nino;s Pizza.This was my first time ordering/trying this establishment, I ordered a pizza, half sausage and cheese and a order of fries on June 18, 2015, My family and I was so disappointed in the pizza we through half of it away, The pizza was dried out and didn't taste fresh it tasted old.. My granddaughter and I decided when we got there to order a side of cheese for the fries. While waiting for the cheese nearly 15 min., I noticed pizza's going in and out of the oven, they looked nice and fresh. My pizza didn't look the same as the one's I saw them preparing and taking out of the oven. I mentioned to the lady on the phone I had a groupon, I don't know if this was a groupon pizza or this was the norm. I will continue going to my local pizza joint. Bad experience! So I read all the good reviews of Nino's and decided to go there recently for dinner on a Sunday. We walked in with a party of 7 and stood there for over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. A few waitresses looked at us but we were ignored. Finally a waitress came. We said we had a party of 7 and she said we would have to wait a minute for the table to get cleaned off. The place is small so we could see a table right next to the dirty one that we could have sat at, but they made us wait until the dirty one was cleaned. Fine. So I took my kid to the restroom. When I came out my family was seated. I sat down and as I was looking over the menu my arm landed in crumbs. I looked at the table and it was filthy! There was parmesean cheese, pizza crumbs and spilled soda all over the table. It was never wiped down. So I figured when our waitress came to get our drink order that I would tell her that the table needs to be wiped down. We waited. And waited. And waited. And no one came. We were there for a total of 20 minutes and all we were able to do was sit at a dirty table. So we decided to leave. Just as we put our coats on our waitress came walking over, saying she was just about to take our order. Well, too little too late. The food might be good, but I wouldn't know. We went next door to Baker's Square and we were seated immediately. And Nino's was not really busy that night either. I won't go back. read more
