Awful. I was on hold for 32 minutes with no response. I drove there while still waiting and when I got there only 2 dine in customers were there. I told the woman on the front desk that I had been waiting for 30 minutes for a response on the phone and she told me no. I showed her that I was still on the phone and she picked up the work phone, answered and saw that I was in fact right and all she said was oh. Then when I handed her my payment after placing my order she did not give me my change, instead she PUT IT IN HER TIP JAR. Absolutely horrible service and will never return or recommend. read more

Sad to say I've never had their food but I placed a delivery order...that never arrived. Apparently Justin the delivery guy took my order, but according to the manager, he has no access to the computer to enter the order. My thoughts? Justin probably shouldn't be answering the phone...the only bright spot was the young lady who did answer the phone when I called to inquire about the missing order, she apologized profusely and got the manager immediately. If they had offered anything, a free miso soup or even to actually make the order and have to me in a reasonable amount of time I wouldn't be writing this review. My favorite place for sushi! The inside is very cozy and always clean. The staff is amazing, you get a warm greeting every time you walk in that makes you feel like your service is wanted. In my opinion that is very important. They are always fast and attentive! The sushi always tastes fresh! The Brevard roll is my personal favorite I highly recommend it! I have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years and most of the time their food is fresh and well prepared. However, the men's bathroom, down the hall which is full of cartons of beer and other drinks and ??? so barely passable, smells like an open sewer. The urinal has been "out of order" for the past 2 years with duct tape and hand written sign declaring the condition. There is debris and unknown stuff on the floor and the plumbing is hanging out of the wall in some places. I like the food here but must be very specific as to how I want it prepared or it will be inedible. This was once the best Tai food on the beach but the poor condition of the building and waning attention the staff have me looking for another Tai restaurant in the area. read more

Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai with medium spice for pickup. Showed up and my food was ready. The dining area inside looked pretty packed and for a small interior there was even a small sushi bar- pretty cool. Staff was friendly. When I got my food my first reaction was man this is kind of small, but it ended up being the perfect amount. The spice was perfect, you could certainly taste the heat, but it wasnt too hot for "medium". There was a good amount of chicken and the overall look of the dish was appetizing. My only comments would be there could have been more crushed peanuts and the noodles tasted just slightly overcooked/soft. Overall, great Pad Thai and a great meal! The experience was horrible. It was like being in the Satellite High Cafeteria. Teenagers standing around tables while waiting for their carry out but just hanging out while your trying to enjoy a quiet dinner. The music was also not appropriate...Geared towards high school kids. Where were the adults? First time I have been disappointed in this place Waiter bought the wrong food. Me and my mother came after a doctors appointment. The customer service was phoenomenal and i felt like I was at a friend's house. The decor was classic, but on topic. The menu was full of choices. placed my order online, got the confirmation and didn't get my order. called the restaurant to ask if everything was ok when the person on the phone said they saw my order just as I called. the person on the phone proceeded to talk to me like I was an idiot and tried to talk me out of wanting my order. Amazing sushi! My boyfriend and I try different Thai restaurants often and this one is at the top of our list. We tried the Pad See Ew and it was really well done. We've had Pad See Ew at Siam Orchid and Thai Thai II but it is usually too soupy/runny. Not at Nippon- it was perfect! All in all, this is our favorite Thai restaurant in town now. read more

I was very excited when I hear about Nippon Thai, but the rave reviews here and in the newspaper were just wrong. The place is small and old. The service was lacking in all departments, some sushi came out before appetizers, some sushi came to the table 35 min after appetizers after everyone was almost done with their meals. The waitress just ran around from table to table looking frantic. The sushi just was bad, Red tuna looking grey, spicy tuna rolls with no taste, dry tasteless salmon. I don't recommend, Haru is far better and even if this place cost less I'd rather pay a little extra to actually enjoy my meal read more

Went in to get a table for four and the place was packed. We were told that a table was leaving and it would be about 3 minutes. While waiting, another 4 top came in and also placed their name on the waiting list and they were told it would be a 15 minute wait. After about 5 minutes, the hostess comes out and seasts the second party and tells us that we are next. We decided to leave at that point. read more

This is our go-to for Thai and sushi delivery on the beach. The pad thai and tom yum with shrimp are always good. Seaweed salad too. Not too impressed with the crab rangoon and stopped ordering it. Had the octopus sashimi appetizer last night, along with the seared tuna. The tuna was sliced pretty thinly but was fresh and tasty. The octo was chewy yet not too bad. I've been here a handful of times. The waitresses need to focus more attention on the customers, instead of running around and purposely not looking your direction incase you need something. The food is good, but the last time I came in, my service was awful. We waited for what seemed like 15 minutes to place our order, 3 tables which sat down after got service ahead of us. Every time I needed something.....more napkins, refill on drinks, more tea bags put in our hot water pot which only had one, check on our appetizer which came out after 20 minutes, hot sauce etc; I had to get up and run after the wait staff for service. The 2 young girls would dart out to one person's table for something, make no eye contact with anyone around even when my hand was in the air, and ignore us. The worst service I've had in quite some time anywhere. I only live a mile away but will go out of my way to find another place to eat, where customer service is a priority. I'm not sure who the boss is, but he may want to focus more on the level of service and customer experience. It seems the manager or bosses may be concentrating more on the food, and not customer satisfaction. I suggest considering other options for some dinner. Nice, small place. The food was good, but pricey. We ended up with a $50 bill between the two of us..... My husband got the fried calamari and combination fried rice. This is one of the best Thai/Sushi restaurants I have been to in my life. There curries are amazing as is there sushi. They also have what I consider the best Seared Tuna (Tuna Ta take) I have ever had in my life. They also have no problem making things to order for people with dietary needs, such as Gluten intolerance, etc. The atmosphere is casual, the food is spectacular, and the service is very personable. This is a must if you are ever in Satellite Beach and hungry. They also deliver if you are within a 3 mile radius of the place. read more

Food was OK, service was inexperienced at the sushi bar. I asked the "chef" for some recommendations and he suggested some wacky rolls. I was looking for sashimi. This is the best Thai food in this area! I've only had 1 dish here that I wasn't impressed with, the Duck. Everything else I've eaten on the Thai menu is excellent! I love the fact that I can order brown rice with my meal for only $1 extra; this turns my meal into a very healthy, guiltless one for a Diabetic. I've only eaten in around 6 times, mostly I get take out because the place is so small, but the food is worth the wait when I do decide to eat at the restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

My mom and her husband just bought the bar in the same plaza (The Thirsty Lizard...soon to be renamed) as Nippon and after helping them out one day, I suggested that we go here to have dinner. The Yelp reviews were good, and I just love Thai food! I was not disappointed. The shrimp pad thai was delicious, my mom's sushi was absolutely scrumptious! The restaurant owners, Noi and Tommy, were great! Tommy told us jokes while he made sushi and Noi was beyond friendly, making my mom and her husband welcome into their little community. Food is good as always, but service is terrible! Called in a simple to go order of four items to be picked up and three of the four items were incorrect. Didn't realize it until we got home and of course had to turn around and go back bringing the wrong food to pick up the right food. Nine times out of 10 when we order from here, regardless of whether we dine in or get takeout, our order is wrong. Clearly the girl that works the front desk taking to go orders and cashing people out could use a little bit of common sense. Taste-tastic! Food was fast, and fresh. We've eaten at Thai restaurant in many countries (disclaimer: except Thailand), we've also had sushi in a few cities in Japan. This one has many traditional Thai dishes, along w/some pretty good sushi combos. We had the Neptune roll, the presidential roll, the chicken, the duck, and the pork curry (red), Thai fried rice, shrimp pad Thai, sticky rice w/mango. It was soo good. The service was very good, our server even took a pic of us at the table after we devoured our meal. I know...silly people. We ate there twice, the first time we showed up at closing time, since we just stumbled on the restaurant, but they still accommodated us. Very flavorful food. Sushi is fresh. The only issue is that it's very warm in the restaurant therefore we worried about ordering sushi in the warm months so instead we ordered cooked food. They also need to separate the hot and cold foods while packing orders to-go. Have not eaten in the restaurant (only carry out) but have had tai and sushi from nearby restaurants and Nippon Tai is the best in the area. read more
