    Mango Lassi

One of the best beef samosas I've ever had!! Sad it was my last day or I would've gone back for more. Their mango lassi super delicious! Next time I come back to visit Maui, Nirvana will definitely be on my list. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Their Masala Dosas and Samosas are super good and pair well with their Tamarind Sauce! Especially love the cilantro inside of the Dosas - if you're looking to find great North and South Indian Cuisine on Maui, Satrang is the place to visit - Miguel Morales Photography

We were craving something different on the island after several days of pizza, pasta, etc. Being vegetarian we came upon all these food trucks in Kihei and loved the prior reviews of Nirvana. My wife and I split the masala dosa and the dosa plate. The dosas were piping hot and light. The sambhar was rich and flavorful and complemented the dosas nicely. We only wish the potatos in the dosas were spicier but that's a personal preference. We'll definitely be back here on our next trip to Maui.

This is HANDS DOWN the best vegan plate I've had the whole 3 weeks I was in Maui! As a vegan it was very hard to find something delicious HOT and fully vegan but Nirvana took care of me! So much I had to come back before I headed to the airport! Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service and delicious food! I can't wait to get back for some more!

Being from the Bay area samosas are a dime a dozen this place is spectacular, both the vegetable and beef samosas are the best I've ever had. The sauce for dipping is fruity and wonderful. Well worth the trip to Kihei to find this place in the South Maui gardens all the way back in the corner... Well worth the walk!

Dosa Masala is very tasty! Love it.

Satrang Indian Food Truck is located at lovely South Maui Garden! Dosa Masala is very tasty! Love it. Come and enjoy!

Ordered the two combos - North Indian one that came with choice of 2 out of 3 curries, naan or lemon rice, or half naan half lemon rice.. we got the chicken curry (yummmmy), navratan korma (great but I wish the veggies such as broccoli and cauliflower were cut into smaller pieces) with half naan and half rice. - South Indian one that came with masala dosa, coconut chutney, sambhar, and lemon rice They make the food to order so it took sometime to prepare (maybe 25-30 minutes) but it was sooooooooo worth the wait! DELICIOUS and you can tell it was freshly made! Their food is wayyyyy better than a lot of Indian restaurants in Philadelphia haha I wish I'd come with more time on my hands to really sit and enjoy the food.. unfortunately had a flight in a couple of hours so had to rush. I'm sitting with my piping hot masala chai in hand waiting eagerly to try it.. I'm sure it's awesome. Paid $30 before tip.

I haven't had Indian food since going to a wedding this summer so it was great to find an Indian food truck right in the heart of Kihei! I also got the chai and the mango drink and the mango drink has rose water in it you can totally taste it it made it taste very "fancy" haha I would definitely recommend coming here and trying a little bit of everything

I called and asked them for directions and they actually guided us. They were also really patient in explaining the menu to us and explaining the different types of fish and what not. Really glad we were patient and actually came here! Such a lovely aesthetic to the whole area and the food. Oh my goodness!!! The burst of flavor in everything was phenomenal! Such unique combinations and everything was so fresh and cooked so well and just mind blowing! Husband and I kept saying how we should have just gone there multiple times for food! Mahi Mahi Bento bowl with Ono instead. (It has Crispy Sushi Rice / Black Garlic / Market Vegetables) I really have no words to see how good this combination was! I was actually a little full going into dinner but ended up actually wiping this whole plate clean! The food was that good! Husband got the Roasted Organic Chicken With Coconut with Coconut Carrot Curry and Roasted Vegetables. Very different vibe from my item but also really delicious. Heat thoroughly enjoyed this one! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the carrot coconut curry combination with the vegetables and the chicken was lovely. He kept some leftovers for the next day because the chicken portion size was quite huge and we enjoyed it even the next day! Seaweed salad was also delicious! Super fresh and tasty!

It looks clean , smells clean and with the giant plasma TV's show you what's about to be served you'll feel safe about your choices. Simple order process and then after 10 mins your order is called out and ready for pick. Every dish I've dined on has its own taste signature and is rapturous to the body.. Needless to say all items are sensational for the tastes buds and the costs are extremity priced out well for your budget. Come on and try a BIG BUDGET TASTE for a low budget cost.. We went all in on the pork belly (no regrets ) and ordered the pork belly fried rice and the garlic noodles with pork belly. Both dishes were packed with flavor and super satisfying. The menu photo shows thick pieces of ono, and that's how they've always been served in the past. This time, the fish was paper thin and barely filled the bun. It definitely wasn't worth the price. I explained that I've ordered these many times before and they've never looked like this, but my concern was dismissed. The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

I got this both times. - the LITTLE PIGGY was good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. But good to try. - the DUCK DUCK GOAT was wildly disappointing. As you can see in the picture, all meat and almost nothing else. Maybe a few silvers of cabbage. But where's the goat cheese and the fig jam?!? We also got the ALOHA TOTS. Huge portion so that was nice. But the kalua pork was pretty watery and made the crispy tots go soggy pretty fast. Overall a solid spot. Definitely worth trying at least once.

They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.
