I was greeted by the sweet girl at the desk & she told me to check in on a tablet, it keeps track of all my visits & I'll earn points each time I come in! The point system is used by converting however many dollars you spent before tax to points to be used to take $$ off your next visit. Such a cool idea! Dan took excellent care of me, he soaked off my nails carefully & really paid attention to detail. We had great conversation & I really want to go back for a pedicure after he told me all my options. However it looks like a very nice place from the outside & inside so I figured id try them out and if it worked out I could always get my nails done before or after my workout. First the color I wanted which was 006 was not available, then another employee said it was available, turns out they barely had enough polish to do my set of nails. Secondly there was an incident where a homeless man came in and stared a ruckus. Thirdly the man who prepped / added the acrylic to my nails made both my pinky's & my ring finger bleed. I asked for a "VERY SQUARED" shape and I ended up getting some very squared some very narrow at the bottom , wide at the top shapes. I definitely asked them to fix it before they added the gel, and she tried her best to make them more squared but at this point I was ready to leave so I said that it looked better which it was a lot better. I'm writing this view while sitting in my chair waiting for my manicure because even tho I booked an appointment a week ago, it's now been over half an hour and they still haven't started.... This is a regular issue I have with this business EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Even if they do start your appointment close to on time, plan on them leaving after they've already started. Even for the most simple manicure, I'll still be there for 1.5 hours because they just leave you waiting for soooooo long. I usually come right when they open because there's significantly less people, but this happens no matter what time of day it is. Pain was the name of the game today. I went in for a deluxe pedicure, which is supposed to be about luxury and relaxation. My tech was so rough and rushing through it that I'm not sure how I have any skin left on my feet at all. The massage chair was terrible. My daughter got acrylic nails done here and the technician forgot to buff one hand so all the nails on that hand fell off within 2 days. Hey, stuff happens. When I called Nirvana to tell them they apologized and said to come in so they could take care of it. They did that and then some! They redid her other hand and did a beauty job! No charge! We decided to try out this new place and we were glad we did. They are relatively new, so they still had a little bit of growing pains going on. However, it was a wonderful experience. The decor is very well done (calm and serene without overdoing it), and the staff was super friendly. We went in for just pedicures but wound up adding manicures to it (which probably didn't help them with time management, but they graciously worked us in. We had Thi and Honi (my apologies if I've misspelled it), who are sisters. We'll definitely ask for them again. They did a great job. We will definitely be back! read more

I loved it!! I've found my new nail salon! Super clean! Really great customer service and they're really nice. An amazing atmosphere! Very relaxing and spa-like. I had Tina (we went crazy about our names lol) and I'm definitely satisfied with the attention to detail and avoidance of nicks and any mistakes. I didn't even tell her to make the free edge thin for a more natural look (so I can pick things up without an issue) and she did it! Definitely a winner for me (I'm kinda picky about natural looking acrylics). I also got a classic pedicure and I loved it! Super relaxing and the tech (I didn't get her name but she was super nice) used new tools and gloves. I felt like a queen. I am super picky and I don't do reviews...EVER. They definitely deserve this and I will be coming back. I definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time because they do get busy (I guess the word is getting out). This was my second time here. The first time I wasn't too impressed with my Mani/Pedi. My first time I got a regular gel manicure and the deluxe pedicure. The gel manicure lasted only 5 days before it started to separate from my nail. They had painted on my skin a bit so I think that's part of the issue. My pedicure was the same way. I always give a company 2 shots in case it was a fluke. Which I do feel it was. Today I got a dip manicure from Tina and so far, I am very impressed with it! I encourage everyone to give them a shot. My sister and I went in on 12/23/2020. They completely messed up my sisters nail and it cracked horizontally across her nail. Now because of that she is missing half her nail. And I mean her entire nail. It's straight skin. I would not recommend this place and they have a ridiculous policy where if it's been more than a week they won't refund or fix anything. My nails came out nice in my opinion but I'm not sure who I got but it was a guy and he was very rough when it came to shaping my nails with the drill thing. On one finger in particular it hurt the most and I ended up pulling my hand away on accident. He had drilled my cuticles so much that it had started to bleed and when putting on hand sanitizer in the car I had found more spots I hadn't noticed before that he had drilled into. I have mixed emotions because I do like my nails and the guy was sweet but I feel like there shouldn't ever really be an excuse for being rough to the point of bleeding. read more

I loved the atmosphere and how clean the shop was. The staff were nice and very welcoming. Though I am very disappointed in the gel manicure I experienced. There is no "square" shape, the gel polish itself is all over my cuticle and is ready to peel off on the edges. The nail tech didn't put an effort in the manicure and very disappointed. Usually I enjoy getting my nails done and it's definitely a treat for myself though this experience was not great. Cleanest place I've gone to in ABQ (and I've gone to A LOT!) Making an appointment isn't your typical call ahead wait time, which let's be real, we sometimes schedule an appointment and don't get seen until 20-30 minutes later.... They get ya in as soon as you sign in so it's totally worth scheduling. However, booking your appointment online isn't very user friendly. If you're only there for one thing, yes it is, but more than one thing you have to redo the process. Parking lot kinda sucks but can't really do anything about that. But great place! All their Gels have a Liquid Color (non-gel) to match and we all know that's a challenge at some places. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to whatever you may need. read more

The service was great, everything was clean and up to the new health codes with Covid-19. The gel manicures and pedicures were amazing. Then some woman came in claiming she was "exempt from wearing a mask". Everyone else was following the rules and doing what was expected of them. They made an exception for her which goes against the whole point of everyone else being safe. I was totally disappointed, up until that point I was a customer for life. The point of the masks is so asymptomatic people who don't know they're sick don't accidentally spread the virus, someone choosing to not wear a mask doesn't mean they're only putting their health at risk. They are actually putting everyone's health at risk. Very irresponsible, someone could report them and they could be closed down. However, I will just spend my money somewhere else. read more

I am very picky with my nails and have to say Tina did a great job on them. I actually did a 5k obstacle race a few days after getting them done where I had to climb rope, pull tires with my hands, and crawl in the mud and afterwards there wasn't even a scratch on my nails. I got a gel manicure and pedicure here and it came out so good! It came out to $64. Jennifer did exactly what I wanted which was pearl white nails with glitter. She also took her time on my feet and didn't rush through the process. She made my feet really soft again. The ladies and men working here were very nice. You should schedule appointment though because they get very busy. The ambience of the place is really nice and relaxing. They have massage chairs and a waterfall.
