For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

My car was a 2003, and it was time to call it quits and get something new. While searching the internet, I found a vehicle I was interested in at Grubbs Infiniti. As is usually the case with used cars (in my experience), the one I wanted wasn't at the location; however, I was able to see something similar.  I agreed to purchase the car, and now the concerns started.   During the process, there was a dealer prep fee that I specifically indicated I did not want to pay. If it was not removed, I would not want the car.  I also mentioned that I did not want to advertise the dealership, and wanted any reference to the dealer's name removed. I am a senior, and as such, it takes me a little longer to read, hear, understand, and complete the details of the sale.   I did not receive any email or paperwork to review for a month; when I finally did receive materials and had time to review, I noticed that the dealer prep charge was included.  I tried to call and email several people at the dealership, and no one would reply.  I even left a message for the General Manager, who also did not have the courtesy to respond.  I guess I was being ghosted.   Finally, I got a call from the salesman, he took the information; I then received an email from the manager, and I replied to that - no reply.   What does the dealer prep charge include?  The reason I'm asking is that I got a notice that the car was due for an oil change - I have driven less than 200 miles to date.  That led me to be concerned about the other fluids and items covered. I was told about a warranty, but I cannot find anything given to me that explains the details. As a senior, I increasingly feel that I am being taken advantage of and that you are not taking the time or effort to address this situation.

I want to share the email that I sent to Classic Chevrolet. Even though they were not involved in the issue, I received an immediate response that genuinely moved me. Shane Keeling personally called me and his sincere apology for the way we were treated at Vandergriff almost brought me to tears. He emphasized that what we experienced is not how Chevrolet treats anyone especially not its customers. And what can I say about Shane and that smile when he said "Hey, I got you," he truly meant it. He honored everything he said he would, all the way down to even beating the interest rate. My husband walked away with the same truck, with fewer miles, and exactly what Vandergriff had turned him away for. True to his word, Shane also assigned one of his very best sales representatives to assist us -- and from the moment Rajan "Raj" Murali greeted us with his warm welcome and genuine smile, we felt valued and respected. Because of this experience, I can truly say that moving forward, any vehicle we purchase will be from Classic Chevrolet. Thank you again for restoring our faith in customer service.

After visiting two dealerships in Fort Worth this week, the first dealer told me I owed $9000 more on my 2-year-old car that has 17,000 miles, I shared my Kelly Blue Book estimate and he told me KBB don't write checks, he offered me a payment of $1183/month, of course I left. The next dealership must have thought, "hold my beer and watch this, lol." That dealership offered me a lease price of $1905/ month and bragged because he got the price down $200, so I was going to pay $1700, they told me I was $5,000 upside down. Feeling reluctant, I located the 2026 GMC Denali PU with the exact options that I was seeking. Derek was extremely professional. I told Derek exactly what I was looking for. Within an hour, Derek provided me with a ballpark figure that was exactly the same as the result I came up with on the GM Financial website; I was $500 upside down. After a 1-hour drive to the dealership, it took approximately an hour to complete the paperwork, and a monthly note below $700/mo. Without a doubt they have earned my trust in an industry that is filled with uncertainty in my opinion. When completing the paperwork, I was able to relax, as in my experience the finance manager didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't want or need. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I'll be back!"

Took my car in for a recall and naturally they found a couple things to charge me for. They quoted me $2,400.00 for a leaking motor mount. Called then back to cancel and the service advisor was adamite that I have it done at the dealership. When informed of the normal market price, she wanted me to make an offer on the service. Obviously, they inflate the cost and unless you call them out; they will rip you off all day long. At the tender age of 77, I replaced the motor mounts myself in my garage for a total cost of $75.00 in about 6 hours. No, not a factory BMW part. Why They don't last over 40k miles. Why replace one headache with another? Bet a factory trained technician with hoist, tools, n help can do the same in less than 2 hours. Not that hard. $2,400.00? The kicker is they were unaware I was planning on replacing the car, buying a new BMW on the same trip. My service experience changed that. Beware of their predatory service tactics. Denny

Preferring to buy locally, I visited Toyota of Plano to see if you could match the offer. Instead of a professional discussion, I was met with shocking hostility from one of your managers (a tall gentleman of Middle Eastern descent). He directly attacked my integrity, stating, "I've seen this trick many times; people bring fake quotes from Richardson or Prosper to deceive us." He further alleged, without any evidence, that the other dealer would add a markup of over $6,000. While I respect a dealership's right to decline a price match, I find it unacceptable to be accused of dishonesty. This lack of professional ethics is not only a personal insult but a significant blow to the Toyota brand image. As a direct result of this experience, I returned to Longo Toyota of Prosper the following day and purchased the vehicle there. The contrast in service was stark; they treated me with respect, and my wife is thrilled with our new car. I will be sharing this experience with my community to ensure other buyers know to take their business to dealerships that actually value their customers.

If you are unfortunate enough to own this car and experience this issue you know that there is no easy fix. When I arrived I pulled up, handed the tech the keys, and walked inside to check in. Lawrence was so nice and helpful, let me know a time frame, and explained where the restrooms and snacks were located. He also let me know there was a recall that they would also take care of while they had my car back there. After about 3 hours Lawrence called me up and informed me that they were not able to get the sunroof closed and the cost of getting it fixed is almost $11,000. Having just moved 1000 miles from home, looking for a job, and have now loss my reliable transportation I broke down right at his desk. Lawrence proceeded to go talk to other managers to see how he could help me. He mentioned that they could take the headliner down and MAYBE be able to get it closed that way. I had to take the risk. About 4 hours later he comes out to the lobby with a technician named Tristan. Poor Tristan had been fighting with my sunroof all day, but was determined to help me and continued to try everything he could possibly think of. Eventually all his hard work payed off and he was able to get closed and even washed my car for me. These two men may have just been doing their job to other people, but they really did change my life. They offered support, determination, and the willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. Having just moved to Texas this was my first experience with this location and I now will continue to have my car serviced here. P.S. Let this be a reminder to NOT get a Toyota Camry with a panoramic moonroof!!

The one thing that we needed is the pickup and delivery for service since the vehicle we bought was for my mom. We were told that service has to be within a 35 mile radius.
