I called on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit me in by the weekend, which was perfect. From the beginning of the engagement, I was impressed by their planning and preparation skills. As I fed them information about my mom's property, they adjusted staffing and vehicle requirements in real-time to ensure they could complete my junk removal job by my Mission Impossible deadline. Throughout the process, communication was impeccable during planning and on the day of the job. The office kept in constant contact with me via text. And on the day of the job, the assigned 3-person team communicated early and often. They even arrived early. I was so happy to find a junk removal company that focuses on repurposing/recycling/donating. For me, this made a big difference. I really like their business model. It was very easy scheduling the pickup. Sarah, who I believe is the owner, carefully explained to me the process and the pricing. I have to say, I was surprised by how anxious I was in preparing for them to come out. Initially, I was very overwhelmed by my cleanup project but once I actually started it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. They take just about everything (except obvious things, like hazardous materials), so I was able to pretty much get rid of everything that I wanted. Taylor and Martin were the crew that came to my house. They both did an excellent job. They worked fast and did a great job of condensing my junk in the back of their truck, which is important because you pay based on how much of the truck you fill. Also, their speed meant that they were able to finish the job without my having to pay for additional labor time. I recommend that prior to their arrival, you make an effort to gather your items in garbage bags/boxes and place on your driveway, which helps lessen the time for them to load. I didn't compare prices with any other junk removal companies, so I'm not sure how they compare. I'm guessing their more expensive (it is pricey) because of the additional work required to donate, repurpose and recycle. As this was the most important aspect for me, I was willing to pay extra. There are really no words to describe how much Nixxit helped us and our situation. They handled a massive property clean up for us. This was a 16 day job on an acre and a half. A complete hoarding situation after a family member passed. From the very first meeting with Bryce, the owner, we felt confident that his company was going to be able to tackle such a big project.
