changed it from two stars when i noticed a heavy 40" long slab of 1/4" thick tabletop glass missing. people are foolish to think that i wont miss what they've stolen from me, with so much "stuff" around. i wasted my money on these charlatans, who spent all kinds of time moving heavy objects one foot over, for no reason, then blocking them in further by placing other objects--too heavy for a disabled person to deal with--in front of them.! nasty little thief.! i know exactly when they stole it, too: when they pretended to go down to their truck for water, half hour before they were due to leave. i had big bottles of water sitting right there near the glass table top, too. they didnt need to sneak out with my glass table. nasty little thieves, & i'm out $1700. read more

I'm not sure the English language has enough positive words for me to express my endless gratitude to Nixxit and team for their help, positivity, and professionalism. But I'm gonna give it a try anyway! After making the decision to do some furniture upgrading, I knew the best solution for unloading the old stuff was straight up removal as opposed to trying to sell. The kneejerk go-to is of course 1-800-GOT-JUNK but now more than ever I want to support small local businesses, and since I wasn't in a rush I was able to explore options. I found some options online, but had an interesting aha moment when I realized once you are aware of something out in the world, you start seeing it everywhere, and that's exactly what happened. My eyes saw at least 6 junk removal company trucks while out on unrelated drives, and I snapped pics on my phone of every single one. I thought I had made my choice, but I contacted that company and was told that due to COVID, no items could be recycled or donated, they would all be going straight to the dump. That was unacceptable. I would have stored everything for another year before I let that happen. And then a miracle occurred - one afternoon I was almost to my place when a bright green Nixxit truck drove by. I got home, reached out to them for a quote, and the process began. I was able to do a fully remote quote evaluation over Duo with employee Bryce, who reviewed all my furniture and electronics with a couple procedural questions, and talked me through their pricing. I also explained my concerns, and he said that Nixxit was and remained devoted to repurposing and recycling their items, all COVID did was slow the process down a bit. That's all I needed to hear - I'm all in! My pickups, due to timing on my end, were able to be split into 2 jobs, which I'm bizarrely grateful for because not only did it make my life and time management easier, it gave me the chance to meet even more Nixxit employees! Owner Sarah was available through text for all booking and questions, and was always extremely friendly! Job 1 was the majority of my pickup, and I got to meet Bryce in person with his team, and they were incredibly nice and professional, and so respectful of my home. About 6 weeks later, my 2nd pickup was with Daniel and his team, and it was just the same, incredibly nice and professional work, all done quickly. Something I had been dreading ended up being a downright joy! The whole Nixxit team makes me wish I had more stuff to get rid of, who knew I would feel that way on the other side of this adventure! Highly recommended. I planned to buy new furniture so I reached out to Nixxit on Yelp to get a quote to remove a couple of old couches. Sarah responded timely and gave me a decent quote. I let her know that I haven't bought my new furniture yet and she informed me once I'm ready, they can schedule the pick up on the same day of my new furniture delivery, if availability allowed.
