NM cafe located inside of Neiman Marcus, department store. One of my favorite Cafe's, located inside of Lenox Square, shopping mall. NM Cafe, is a nice, clean & upscale. A wonderful place to dine for lunch, Mon-Sat 11-4 & Sunday's 12-4. NM Cafe, offers amazing specialty's coffees, teas, Salmon, Salads, Truffle fries plus more. My go-to is a bowl if She crab soup! Best Crab Soup in Atlanta. It's fresh to order and delicious. I've been going to NM Cafe, for over four years. Terrance, assist me, with my food orders, providing, fantastic service. Great neighborhood gem. Menu prices are reasonable for the food & service. Did I say the food was delicious?! The entire staff for NM Cafe is so friendly and welcoming. Great for solo and or lunch date. Valet parking for a fee or free self parking. Safe environment. Lovely surroundings. Go book a reservation for NM Cafe, you'll thank me later.

It's been several years since I've been to the NM Cafe. My best friend invited me to lunch there today and it was still a treat. It's a great place for girl time over lunch. The cafe is located on the ground floor of Neiman Marcus. The service is awesome and everyone is attentive. After we were seated, we were served chicken broth in small, cute tea cups with saucers and a fluffy roll with banana butter. For our meal, she settled on the she crab soup appetizer, salmon tacos, a side of fries, a cucumber margarita, and a slice of carrot cake for her birthday which was moist and delicious. I had the turkey club and a glass of prosecco. We enjoyed our meal, the ambiance, and service. If you're shopping in Neiman's or Lenox Mall, stop in.

Very convenient cafe if shopping in Neiman Marcus and need some lunch. You'll receive complimentary popover and chicken consommé with your entree. Plenty of tables or sit at the bar.

We went to this gem in Neiman Marcus. Downstairs tucked away in the men's department store. The staff are very friendly providing great service and joy. The food came out quickly and very flavorful. If you have time and would like a great experience, checkout the NM cafe.

A last minute decision to grab lunch while shopping at the mall. Made a quick reservation via OpenTable. It was pretty crowded when we girls arrived there. Popover and strawberry butter were served shortly we sat down. Ordered my usual She-Crab Soup and Herb Roasted Chicken. I have also ordered the Ginger Peach tea which was amazing. Everything turned out as good as usual. Staff was nice as well. I guess I made a great choice to grab lunch at NM Café with the holidays around the corner and the mall getting crazily busy.

You know, I just love being home for a week. To visit with my parents and great friends and such. Oh, and to go to new/lovely/long-time-fave spots to eat. Winner winner, chicken dinner all around. Mom gave me a special treat today: her Neiman's card. And a lot of trust because, dagnabit, it was (only) for lunch, NOT shopping (her words). But it's a lovely - sorta retro/modern combo - space, and I was delighted. Nutshell update: not a big menu but plenty of good choices like the pasta e fagioli soup that I got (it's always on the menu, but they also have a daily special). Delicious and quite filling because there are lots of beans and veggies in it to enhance a light amount of macaroni noodles. And . . . they list the nutrition content of every item on the menu. Whaaat?! Venerable your-grandmother's-kinda-schmancy luncheon place joins the new millennium, y'all (ok, nothing has kale in it but this is a v modern thing for an old school spot). Almost too many options to pick from - I got the chicken paillard which is a lightly battered breast with couscous, mushrooms, carrots, arugula, marinara and olive oil. For...410 cal (and other healthy "numbers"), and if you leave out the couscous and olive oil like I did, even lighter. For all y'all who think about that kinda stuff. But, yeah, next time I'm getting the steak frites (which is still only 880 cal so less if you take out the burgundy sauce). Yep, they are still proud of themselves, as my Dad says about over-priced places and their dishes (my soup was $7 for a cup and the chicken was $20, so ...). You pay for ambience and lady lunchi-ness. Note that they close daily at 3:30. The star ding is for the service. Gloria was nice enough...whennnn she came by. She annoyingly launched into the day's specials within 0.0005 seconds of noticing that I'd sat down (ahem) as if she might forget one unless she gotitalloutfast. Water went un-refilled, that kind of thing. And the manager made the rounds but I noticed he didn't swing by many tables (mine, plus others) and it's really a small little place. All in all - classy, good food, and you can pay with your store card. Rock on NM, if it's polite to say about such a laydish nod to lunchtime foodiness. Oh! PS - I don't care how anti-carb whatever diet, blah blah blah, you're doing: you are missing a great bready pleasure if you do not try the amazing popovers. Just sayin.'

This is NOT tea. It is beef broth in layman's term.

Snuggled at the corner of Neiman Marcus, this place was quite busy on a Friday afternoon. My friend whom been here twice now seemed to have enjoyed her meal. Service was spectacular by the gal with braids. I didn't necessarily like how the gentleman was reaching all over the place clearing the table while we were still chatting. There is a difference between going around people and just grabbing plates here and there. The turkey havarti was good with the chips and small fruit dish, but it wasn't anything wowing or worth that price imo ($17). Don't get me wrong, it was a good sandwich: bread toasted, lots of turkey slices (deli slices, not fresh white meat), plenty of avocados and crispy bacon pieces. Overall the experience here was pleasant, but you're looking at spending about $15 to $17, thereabouts. Still, with the complimentary popover and beef broth, $20 for a deli style lunch is something I'd rather not redo. If you take their 4 min survey at the end, you will get two small (and cold) cookies.

The place is a gem! Every time I eat here everything I delicious and fresh. The she-crab soup is AMAZING! My favorite place to get a good salads when I'm making good choices lol! But when I'm not the popover with strawberry butter...I will eat three. This is a solid lunch spot since they close early. Only thing I will mention is recently I was there and I wasn't greeted. I unfortunately waited 10mins and had to get up and let a server know I needed service.

    Yum.

I went to NM with my mom this Holiday season as we needed a little nosh before spending ungodly amounts of money in the mall. I opted for a mimosa (of course) and mom joined me. We started with the delicious puffy bread they serve with strawberry butter and chicken broth. Truly what I always loved about this place when I was younger, before all the renovations, modern decor and green water glasses. It's funny what you remember and what you do not. We ordered the 5 star mushroom soup with truffle oil which was absolutely divine. It was a special and I don't believe it's on the actual menu. But if you come across it... Then, we split the Asian Chicken Salad for lunch. They give you a spoon of this tasty red chili sauce for the chicken and the salad is already dressed. The crunch of cashews was a cool touch and made the salad unique. So fresh! Enjoyed the NM Cafe, and I will be back!

Our total was $71.60 with tax for 4 drinks. Each drink was about $16. Pros Loved the decor and the drinks were great! Not too much juice and just enough alcohol. Cons $16 a drink can rack up pretty quickly if you're a heavy drinker. Would I Recommend: Yes! Based on the drinks I would definitely recommend this place. This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!

Unfortunately, not a place we'd return to. Came here for the first time on a Saturday at 6pm with my husband, and surprisingly, we were the only people in the restaurant until about the time we left. Service: 1 star There was plenty of staff, so it was confusing how things still felt so off. Drinks were wrong (I ordered prosecco and was brought white wine), and overall attentiveness just wasn't there. Another disappointment was at the end - my husband paid while I was in the restroom, and when I checked the receipt, I noticed I'd been charged $3 more for the wine. I calmly pointed it out, not even asking for a refund, just to flag it, and the waitress argued with me about it instead of simply acknowledging the mistake. Not a great way to end the night. Drinks: My prosecco mix-up aside, the drinks were just okay. My husband's gin & tonic was fine, but noticeably better ones can be found nearby. (Like our night cap at Yeppa after) Apps: 2 stars * shishito peppers were soggy and overly fried * Caesar salad was heavily dressed and tasted like something you'd get at a diner Entrees: 4 stars * chicken was excellent - well cooked & flavorful. Slaw on the side was a bit random * trout was slightly salty but still very good and cooked perfectly. Skin perfectly crispy & enjoyed the grilled green onion on top. I substituted grilled veggies for the slaw (due to dairy)

Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating, but they did forget my friend's birthday celebration details. We got the salmon and the steak frites. Both were pretty good. The smoke Gouda Mac and cheese was just okay - it was like warm and didn't have that strong bite a good Mac and Cheese should have. The menu seems on the smaller side, but there are a couple of solid options to choose from. I do believe it's kind of overpriced for the portion sizes you receive. I would dine here again, but it'd have to be a very special event.
