She made me a drink called the pink passion that was very good as well as pretty the obvious matched everything aesthetically wise if you love pink, this would be something that you would definitely enjoy coming to a girls day. Back in the "A" and my cousin picked this spot because of a social media video. It is located in a shopping center with a variety of other eateries. The vibe was great, the playlist was great, and the server was great! Ask for Tanya! She was on point!!! Some things to note: the gratuity is built in for most restaurants in this area; the water is bottled and the brand is called Beauty; and last a reminder THERE IS A TWO HOUR TIME LIMIT. She was clear about what time we needed to be finished. The food came out and even though I am a SUPER SLOW eater, it was enough time. They have mimosa towers that looked great! The decor was so nice with the feeling that you are in a garden. We would have dressed differently if we were not going on a tour later. The ONLY negative observation: they need to unlock the holders for the toilet paper and paper towels so it can be used properly. No complaints otherwise !! There is a 2hr limit so my suggestion would be to look over the menu so you know what you want to eat before you arrive. I joined a friend for breakfast, and we were SO DELIGHTED with our experience! Everything from the décor to cuisine to our service was stellar! We went very early on a Sunday, providing the serene setting. We were promptly seated and briefed on some of the featured entrees - the French kiss French toast and the Seafood omelet & gumbo, both giving WOW factor! After running a 5K in Piedmont, I searched for brunch on Yelp and landed on Mosa--glad I did. The place is beautifully decorated, with floral walls and lots of pink--definitely a go-to spot for birthday brunches and celebrations. Most of the crowd was well-dressed women and couples, and while I was the only solo male, I felt completely welcomed and comfortable. Started with the house champagne, which was tasty, then followed it up with a small bottle of rosé champagne--just enough for a flute and super refreshing. For food, I ordered the beef tibs. Small, flavorful steak pieces served with a scrambled egg and a generous helping of well-seasoned potatoes. I asked for medium rare, and the bartender Fatima explained they only do medium or higher because of the cut size--loved the transparency. The dish was hearty, and while I usually prefer more egg, it was still satisfying. Fatima was attentive and kind throughout, and Leah, the server, also stopped by to check in--super friendly and helped me feel welcome. Even the manager or owner came by to say hello, which was a nice personal touch. The music? Contemporary R&B that really set the vibe. Overall, great energy, great service, and great drinks. My friend and I were I've due to a catch up and after ditching our initial restaurant plan, we decided on Mosa. My friend saw the restaurant on IG via Hungry Homegirl and thought it would be a cute brunch experience. She was able to snag a reservation and once we arrived, we were initially told it would be a wait because we were early. While waiting, I had to to take a look at the restaurant. The design was cute and Instagramable filled with florals and mirrors. My friend and I were able to be seated earlier then expected due to another reservation not showing up and was seated in Jersey's section. Upon sitting down, we noticed our table was sticky and a little dirty so, we asked for a wipe down. The menu itself is not that large and consist of your normal brunch fare ; some Ethiopian twists. I ordered a Peach Mimosa and the Chicken and Waffles. My friend did mention that the restaurant only served bottled water however, after seeing a few glasses of tap water come out, I requested one. The food that take a while to come out and while waiting for the food, I did notice a few customers that might have had an issue with their bill or the food itself. A woman a couple tables next to me left out speaking of the food being nasty. However, I really wanted to taste it for myself. My chicken and waffles were really good despite me being skeptical about the waffles being "light skinned". The waffles definitely had a delicious vanilla taste to them. The chicken was also really good despite it falling apart and being a bit messy. As mentioned my service name was Jersey and, despite her being nice; she really didn't visit the table that much. We ordered the Ceasar salad with shrimp, a side of Spanish potatoes, and the Cajun pasta with shrimp. The salad itself was delicious. The dressing was good and lettuce chopped up well. The shrimp was overcooked. It was tough and rubbery. But it was seasoned well. The Cajun pasta was ok but needed some salt or seasoning and the shrimp was overcooked as well. The potatoes were a 10/10 and the sauce that came with it. The girls had mocktails one mango and one strawberry and they liked it. Overall the place is nice, the food could be better. Instagram worthy but highly disappointed We were in town for a bachelorette trip and the bride had found Mosa via Instagram and wanted to go. We were a group of 8 ladies. At first, they tried to squeeze us into a booth but we requested to move to another area and pull tables together - which the server accommodated - but she was extremely rude in her response. There were a couple instances when some of the ladies would order where she would make the rudest facial expressions and was not very friendly when someone asked a question about the food (one lady is highly allergic to strawberries) or asking for another cup of coffee, etc. we each asked for water - she immediately brought out Fiji water - she should have asked if we wanted bottled water or tap water and not just assume bottled water to mark the bill up. Tap water would have been perfectly fine. The restaurant was playing amazing 90s rb&b however, there were two occasions where they turned up the music so loud that we had to ask them to turn it down. Mindful of the fact that we were the only table in there at 9am on a Friday for brunch...the food took about 2 hours to be served and the server didn't check on us much. To get to the food - the food was very good! A little overpriced for brunch food but spoil yourself here, the food is great! There were other staff in the restaurant and they honestly made us feel like we shouldn't have been there. Most of us were highly disappointed in the experience...we didn't even get any pictures of the group because we were ready to leave since they made us feel pretty uncomfortable. read more

This was such a beautifully decorated brunch spot that my friend and I met up at. When we walked in, we were greeted by two ladies and one of them led us to a table farther back into the restaurant. We were impressed walking in because you can't tell how large the restaurant is from the outside. They had up to date R&B playing, some of which were the explicit version, but we didn't mind. We started off with mango mimosas, which tasted phenomenal. After scanning the QR code and looking over the menu on our phones, we ordered our entrees. I ordered the beef tips that came with white rice and it tasted AMAZING. You could taste the spices, the other ingredients that were with the beef, and the rice was the icing on top. I just wish the dish came with more sauce cause the sauce complimented the whole meal perfectly. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits, which she throughly enjoyed. The only downside is that we were about 30 minutes early before the lunch special start, which the waitress told us at the end of our meal. We defintely would have waited in order to get the deals. My group went here for brunch, it was 8 of us. The restaurant offers good food, and we ordered a few different appetizers for the table. The fried green tomatoes were good, but the crab cake was just ok. However, the food is unfortunately overpriced. My bill came up to $75. I had the steak skillet, an appetizer, and a cocktail. When you ask for water they bring out these glass bottles of water without warning you and it is not free thats a money grab and you feel taken advantage of especially in that location and with the food being already overpriced. BEWARE OF SCAM! Went to lunch with a coworker and I was not very hungry and asked if I could order a side order cup of gumbo. I didn't see it on the menu but the waitress said they could do that. The waitress asked if I wanted rice in the gumbo. I said yes because rice is always served in gumbo. When I got my bill the waitress brought out a device for me to tap my credit card. All it showed was a total. After tapping my credit card it asked if I wanted to leave a tip and to pick a percentage. NO WHERE did it say I had already been charged an 18% gratuity (plus they charge a credit card surcharge). I selected 15% gratuity. I was not offered a receipt so I asked the waitress for a receipt and also an itemized receipt. I was floored that in addition to the $10 they charged for the cup of gumbo they charged an additional $5 for the rice to go in the gumbo. Are you kidding me? This is like ordering peach cobler and getting charged for the crust! When I told the waitress that rice comes in gumbo she told me "not at our restaurant." She also said she didn't know that her device was adding a tip prior to having me select a percentage tip and that she would let her manager know they needed to fix that. If I had not asked for an itemized receipt I would have never known that I was actually tipping 33%! After reading other reviews of customers who also got scammed this way I see that the restaurant knows what they are doing to people. I had her void my previous payment and run it again without me adding a second tip. I was automatically charged 18% gratuity with no option to do anything else. It ended up costing me $23.45 for a cup of gumbo and a diet coke. What a joke! I will never go back. read more
