Met one of the friendly owners and am excited to know they will be opening more Austin locations in the coming years. So happy there's FINALLY a boba tea place that uses REAL FRUIT! I ordered pineapple mango lychee with boba and was impressed. My husband had a dragon fruit lychee w/o boba and enjoyed it as well. Friendly folks working hard here, but it was slammed, and made even slower because in the time I was waiting at least 2 drinks came back because they were wrong and had to be remade. I paid for popping boba and jellies *in addition* to regular boba, and asked for 25% sugar -- I got no regular boba and it's so sweet I need some insulin after the first sip. My friend liked her taro coconut slush, but said the regular boba is not as chewy, and the texture feels mushy. Not to mention it took 20 minutes of waiting in an overcrowded business -- no way to be notified about the order being ready if I wanted to wait outside #maskuppeople #deltavariant. I don't know if we got a bad batch, but they were the worst boba I've ever had (not exaggerating!!). Good texture, but Zero flavor and they dried my mouth out, never had boba do that before. I ended up drinking my milk tea, which was decent (I've had worse, but also had way better else where) but didn't finish my boba. :( My husband "powered through" his. upsetting experience here. My family and I sat down to get some work done and I ordered the brown sugar milk tea. I did not start drinking the tea until my sister got her drink which took a little while to make (about 15 mins) after I took a sip of the tea it tasted like straight sugar chocolate milk. I asked to get it potentially replaced with a regular milk tea as the drink tasted too much like sugar & they told us that we couldn't due to timeage rules (didn't know this was a thing). We were inside the store the entire time and didn't leave at all. The drink is still full & I barely took a sip. The place itself is not bad. Oh how I was excited for another boba place in the area! However, this would not be my go to place if I am ever craving a boba drink. What was ordered: Milk Tea w/ Boba. The boba was odd like as if it was overcooked? The outer layer was soft but the inside was hard and not very pleasant to chew on. The milk tea tasted like it was just straight powder. Strawberry Green Tea w/ Boba. I am very heavily into fruit teas and it is an added plus if they have the sea salt foam , cheese foam but this place does not have which was fine. But oh my, the drink tasted like straight syrup and the boba was still not pleasant. I was highly disappointed. Neither drinks were finished and I probably will give their smoothies a try before counting this place out. So we have a gift card - we do not live near so we downloaded the app to order 1. App not working 2. When it does there is not a place to input your gift card to be able to use it 3. So we tried DoorDash - oops! No way to use gift card. 4 called the store to ask if app was down or? No manager (this is Saturday btw), just a shift lead who sounded 16 years old. 5 she informed us owners do NOT allow them to take orders over the phone (did I mention we do not live close) 6.
