Small town family owned Americanized Chinese restaurant. If you are looking for quick takeout that isn't expensive look no further. If you order something covered in sauce like sesame chicken don't expect it to be crispy though. Crab Rangoon is pretty good as it has bits of crab meat in the cream cheese and is light and crunchy. Buffet-The food is good. The lady was friendly to me, not real talkative but she was not rude There are no waitresses so you clean up your own dishes and serve your own drinks which isn't so bad. The negatives : very limited food choices like only 1 if 3 counters were hot food the rest was salads and dessert. If they are busy they run out if food quick and you have to wait for them to refill the food and sometimes you have to ask her to do it. Nothing would make me go back again. Very limited items on the buffet and everything was cold. The tea came in a styrofoam cups with a teabag stuck in it. You have to bus your own table. No fortune cookies. The staff sat around watching Chinese soap operas. Won't go back. read more

First time here. Ordered pork chow mein. The definition of "chow mein" is "fried noodles". Literally chow meaning fried and mein meaning noodles. I got onion and celery soup with bits of pork with a few sprouts. What? There was not a single noodle in this dish. I've never seen chow mein made this way. The taste was not great. Tasted musty. Disappointed to say the least as this is very close to where I recently moved. I also ordered vegetable egg foo young. This wasn't bad and was actually delicious the next day. Horrible restaurant, lady at counter does not speak English -- will get order wrong several times, and also has no sense of cleaning. The salt shakers look like they haven't been cleaned in years and the Soy sauce on the table is sticky with Who Knows What. My advice: Seek somewhere else. read more

This restaurant has the best Chinese food I've ever had. I live in Wayland and we eat there quite often. The lady at the register is more friendly as you get to know her. I think she is shy because she doesn't know English very well and she speaks her native language to her coworkers all day. read more

I am glad that we have a Chinese Restaurant in Wayland. It is small but clean. Their daily buffet is fresh and delicious. My husband thinks they make the best won-ton soup, I love the egg drop soup the best. We enjoy eating in no. 1 Chinese restaurant. read more
