I almost want to move again, just so I can hire these guys! Robert & Co. were awesome and the price was actually better than I had budgeted for. Robert came out to do a home estimate and we went over all the details of the move. He gave me a lot of good tips for bringing down the cost. At first I was going to see what it would cost for them to pack most of my house, and they estimated 6 men @ 8 hours of work. I decided to try and get the hours down so I did most of the packing, except for the kitchen. Not only were they punctual, they were quick, efficient, and great to move with. Got the entire job done in 5-1/2 hours. These guys worked nonstop from the second they got to my house to the second they left the new one. (I went out and got them snacks to keep them fueled, which they appreciated and which I think everyone should do for their movers, since they're, like, people.) Nothing was scratched, broken, or missing. In fact, one of the guys thought that they'd left a minor scratch on my coffee table and even anxiously brought it to my attention. The scratch had been there previously so no damage. They took apart my daughter's trundle bed and when they reassembled it, it worked better than before! Ted packed up my kitchen way better than I could have done. And, I even hired Ted again to come help me unpack my kitchen today, which he did in 2 hours flat! Amazing!! We used No Problem Movers to move back into our house after a 3 month remodel and we couldn't happier with the service Robert and his crew provided. Part of our stuff was with us at an apartment and the remainder was in a storage container in our driveway. It took the guys an hour to empty the apartment and 3 hours to empty the container. The guys were *extremely* careful of the newly remodeled house - laying plenty of non-slip runners and blankets. I am not a customer of these people, but my neighbor used them to move out. Without permission, they parked one of their large moving trucks in my driveway while loading the other. When confronted the "boss" gave the excuse that he thought the owner of the house had asked permission but he did not offer to move his truck. Despite being aware of my displeasure at his using my property as a staging area, when the first truck was full, he parked it on my property. When confronted again, he finally moved it. I have no opinion on how good they are at moving, but their behavior is certainly rude and inconsiderate . If for some reason you need to use them, I strongly suggest that you use them to move out not to move in. That way you will not be saddled with outraged neighbors. read more

The person packing our goods showed up on time Friday morning and did a great job (not one dish or cup broken after we unpacked). The truck was loaded Saturday morning in 2 1/2 hours. Disappointing service. Nice guys, but when I got my stuff out of storage, they had dismantled items and parts and didn't wrap them together. Even the guys who delivered it said it didn't need to be taken apart. I'll be searching through boxes forever trying to figure out what goes where. At least tape a baggie with nuts and bolts and parts to the object if you take them apart! Also, they said it was for "safety" purposes, but there weren't any safety issues and if that is the motto, how come my finishe porcelain wasn't packed with that in mind, it was bulk packed and ended up getting chipped! I won't even try to collect money from them as I don't feel like they try to make things right, but just give a lot of excuses. Also, they didn't pack my stuff in storage as I asked (shoes and clothes up front) and didn't set up a time with me to fix that either. read more

I have used No Problem Movers twice, and referred them to many friends. They did a great job packing, loading, unloading, and placing all of my stuff both times. Both moves were local, so they didn't have to travel a great distance with their trucks, but everything arrived in the same condition. I paid them to pack my items as well as move them. Starting a couple days before they had their packer come and start packing, and one by one, all the rooms got done. The second move we had some really heavy furniture. They took great care of it throughout the process. I ended up with no damage. They had a really nice bunch of guys who come when they say they will, and work quickly to get the job done. I hope I don't have to move again, but if I do, at least I know I will only make one call to a mover. read more

Robert and his crew moved us from Redwood Estates into a storage locker in San Jose, then loaded three POD's for shipment to Seattle. When we opened the containers nothing was broken, all of the fragile boxes were nestled on top and the unload was a non-event. They even thought to remove and wrap the glass turntable tray inside the microwave oven! read more

These guys are scam artists. They charged me double the quoted price and would not give me my furniture until I paid. The person I dealt with had the name of the company tattooed to his arm. He seemed to take pleasure in ripping me off. He said "this is a nice apartment your moving to, must be expensive," insinuating that I could pay the extra price. I phoned the owner, and he laughed at me. Then we found they charged our credit card twice for the move. It took a month to get the charges reversed. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

This is the perfect name for Robert and his team. We threw a really difficult move at them, and they handled it without any signs of stress. They not only delivered everything in perfect condition, they were total professionals in organizing the move and getting it done quickly. There are other movers out there that might charge a little less per hour, but these guys know how to get it done smoothly and efficiently - so they end up getting it done in less hours than the estimate. 5 stars for sure. read more

These guys were great! They moved us 30 minutes down the peninsula and we will definitely use them again. They were amazingly courteous, punctual, and even did some carefully-managed outdoor acrobatics to get a bed that wouldn't fit up a stairway hoisted outside to a 2nd-floor patio. Really did a fantastic job with handling the furniture, and were so careful, both the old and new place got no scuffs or other signs that we moved at all. Their philosophy is to quote high, as they're used to most folks not being totally prepared for their move, and it's better to come in under the estimate rather than running over. Since it's a smaller, family owned business there is only one crew which insures a consistent experience like others out there with multiple crews. Robert is a great guy and provided the quote for our move from a 4 bedroom house in San Jose to our new home in Los Gatos. He and his crew showed up on time, were courteous, professional and worked extremely hard resulting in a significant cost savings as compared to the original estimate. Robert even provided some old boxes to help us prepare and keep the costs down! I definitely would use Problem Movers again and would recommend them to my friends. Robert and his fellow mover, forgot his name, were excellent! I called maybe 4 days before my move in a scramble because my previous plans fell through. He set up a time for me and gave me a quote, even giving me the option to think about it and call him back. I ended up booking with him because his price was very reasonable. He quoted $125/hr for the two of them with 3 hour minimum. He showed up at least 10 minutes early to my storage facility and they had the unit packed up in the truck in about 30-40 minutes. He made a second, unplanned, stop without issue to pick up some things from my home. There was an issue with my new place where we had to wait for the keys. Instead of sitting around and letting the time run out like they could have, the guys began unloading everything from the truck and taking it up the stairs ready to move in when the keys came. They were great, put runners out on the floor to keep it clean and got everything moved without any damage. They finished in a little over 2 hours. I was nervous to hire movers for the first time and didn't know what to expect but I'm so glad I went with them! They were fast, careful, and honest guys who made my move easier than any other move I've ever made. I highly recommend this company for your next move! read more

Excellent!!!!! When one of the crew members didn't show, the owner, Robert, stayed for the whole job and loaded my trailer himself. Kaipo (hope I'm spelling it correctly) was so careful with my tempurpedic adjustable bed, and Robert loaded my horse trailer (not an easy feat with few places to tie to) with precision. We have used No Problem Movers four times, the first time in 1996. Our most recent move was in July 2010, it was the biggest. Robert gave a very accurate estimate, showed up on time with two trucks and eight men. They moved a lot of furniture and garage stuff, handled every piece very carefully, placed everything exactly as we wanted it, and we were as pleased as we could be. It was a local move and they were done by 3PM the same day. Robert and his crew have a great attitude and work really hard. I would definitely use them again. read more

I really can't express how disappointed I am with No Problem Movers. The owner Bob is a charming guy and I believed what he told me about how careful and professional his men were but that turned out to be just talk The two biggest problems were: 1) They didn't pack my storage space as I instructed several times and 2) I am convinced they tried to deceive me and hide the total destruction of my office desk. I wanted the furniture and unimportant items (i.e., ironing board, vacuum, brooms, chairs, books, etc.) in the back of the storage space and the items I needed immediately up front and easily accessible (i.e., my clothes, medicine, office files, tools, computer gear, camera equipment, etc.) What they did do was just the opposite (again, despite my multiple requests), claiming it was "the only way it would fit" but that was not true They ripped apart my office desk in such a way that it is unrepairable. They didn't tell me when they did it, they didn't tell me when they packed it, they didn't tell me when they moved it into my storage space, they didn't tell when I paid the bill at the end of the move and they didn't tell me when I had further discussions with them about the need to repack the storage space. It was only when I did repack the storage space and discovered what they had done and I confronted Bob about it that he admitted they knew about what happened but didn't want to tell me because "I was already having problems with" his son, who was supervising the move and who would not do what I asked when the truck and storage space were packed. I am convinced that they deliberately hid the damage by placing it behind my bed, which was placed, not against the wall as I asked them to do (and where it would be out of the way), but flat on in such a way as to block access to any items behind it. Bob did offer to give me a few dollars for the desk because his "reputation was important" but only an amount that was "based on the original price minus all the years of use." Given that I had owned if for over 25 years (and moved it several times with no damage), it would have amounted to so little, it was not worth pursuing. There were other issues such as the inadequate padding of my expensive one of kind art work, again, despite me having told Bob and Bob's son how important that was to do. I am heartsick at the loss of my desk, which was part of a matching set of furniture and perfect for my needs. I wish I had not trusted No Problem Movers to live up to their name and promises. read more

Referred by Alain Pinel so assumed we were in good hands--not totally true. Teddy the initial packer who removed many expensive items for our home to be staged for selling was great. Young strong crew was also courteous & capable. Robert left a few things to be desired. For the price we expected better. Not one large piece of expensive quality furniture was shrinkwrapped--maybe cuz it was a local 10 mile move--except a white couch which was left with the shrinkwrap on for us to remove. They did use moving blankets (including 10 of ours which they "accidentally" took with them). It could have been worse as admittedly we moved into a home 1/3 the size but even 4 or 5 minor scratches and dents was upsetting. Especially since all we got from Robert was excuses including not our fault. For a long-established highly rated (here anyway) moving company to say we don't even have a furniture repair referral as we never damage anything is ridiculous. Even Ashley Furniture sent out a $50 p/h touch-up guy for a $250 table slightly damaged on delivery. Maybe it's time for Robert to retire and let his son who seems much more customer service oriented take over. Almost did 3 stars but no final walk through was offered--just make sure you have the people to watch each large item and ask for the service you pay for. read more

Recently my husband and I hired No Problem Movers and these guys were awesome! So easy to work with and fun too. We ended up with a team of four guys and they made our move smooth and quick. I had a checklist of all the boxes (we packed our stuff ourselves), so I let them know and they were great in calling out the label info (room & box #) I had placed on the boxes so I could check them off my list. When we got to our new house, the guys again called out the label info so I could do a double-check that all boxes that they loaded were also unloaded. These guys wasted no time in loading and unloading our belongings, no standing around doing nothing. Even with their fast pace they still took time to carefully wrap furniture and framed photos/artwork and lay moving blankets on staircase railings, etc and got everything into our new place without issue. No damage to items and no damage to walls or anything. Would definitely use them again! Bonus: they worked so quickly and efficient I ended up paying less than the quoted cost. read more
