My daughter went with the avocado bagel with bacon. I had no idea the bacon would be a separate charge of 2.29! Visited one morning and I kid you not- five of us customers were named Lisa, so don't use that name for your order because we all kept going up to get our food. I think the servers might have canceled an order because they thought there was a glitch. Anyway, this Noah's is just fine. They have no seating so get your food and get out. I hate how the blueberry muffin has very little streusel. The ones I used to go to in LA have tons of crunchy, buttery topping, but this one has almost none, so that's one less thing I need to buy at Noah's. read more

I've been coming to this location for many years now. I've never had any issues until last week. I ordered 2 bagels online. When I went to pick them up, I asked if I can have a side of the roasted tomato sauce that is put on my bagel. (I've done this MANY times and the workers have ALWAYS given it to me with NO ISSUE!) Not this time though. I asked the older lady whom apparently is the store manager, if I can have a side of the sauce. She say's that I had to pay for it. I said that it was fine. I walk over to the register and she tells the woman at the register to charge me for cream cheese. I said "why are you charging me for cream cheese when I'm not purchasing cream cheese?" The manager says that if I wanted it, I had to pay for it. I said "yes but you're charging me for cream cheese, I'm not buying cream cheese!" Anyway she wanted me to pay $3.80 for a small side of sauce! I told her no that I wasn't paying for something that I'm not buying. Charge for a side of sauce not cream cheese. I THINK THIS IS IT FOR ME... The food here is always mediocre, and the workers consistently slow - but the are close so I've put up with it. But today not only were they slow as heck, and made the bagels completely wrong,, they also charged me for extra lox they didn't put on the sandwiches. In fact they omitted the lox entirely. And that stuff ain't cheap! These employees are fortunate it's hard to find people to hire, because if they had to maintain their jobs on merit, they would be sitting in the parking lot. Oh and by the way, I ALWAYS overtip, because I generally feel empathetic for people in these sort of jobs. Now I'm wondering why I bother. read more

My friend and I came here today for breakfast. She ordered their Farmhouse which is a 6 cheese bagel with ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, pepper cream cheese and either one or two eggs. For one egg, it's under 10 dollars and for another two dollars or so, you can double egg your Farmhouse. My friend replaced the gourmet 6 cheese bagel with a Everything bagel. I ordered one of their favorites, a Nova Lox sandwich which has lox, red onion, tomatoes, and plain spread. It comes on a plain bagel but I asked for their pumpernickel instead. They were very accommodating and even though the line was long, it was worth it. I got there at 9 AM and there was already a long line and when my friend finally joined me at about 9:10 AM, the line had gotten so big that they were winding around the entire store. We waited about 20 minutes to get our two sandwiches. It's easier if you order on their app and pick up the sandwich. They leave your sandwiches on a shelf and it's a bit dangerous because anyone can grab your food and walk out. However, my friend and I chose to order our food in person and that took an additional 20 minutes- 30 minutes of wait time. There's no where to sit inside the Cafe. The outside has two metal tables and since it was freezing cold, it was not a good place to eat. This is a place where you should get your food to go or eat in your car on a cold day. My friend and I ended up driving to her house to eat. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. The nova lox was excellent. The pumpernickel bagel was sweet. read more

Horrible! I've ordered in bulk numerous times from them for marketing purposes and each time I've picked up my order, I'm told to just grab my stuff to bring to my car myself. In one occasion, they were clearly over staffed and not busy since everyone was just talking, and nobody had offered to help me bring boxes upon boxes of bagels to my car. You would think that is common sense, but I guess not. The funny thing is they USED to help you bring boxes to your car, so I'm not sure what has happened over the years. What awesome service! I literally ordered the bulk dozen bagels online a few minutes before picking it up and it was all set for me to pick up when I arrived. The staff was really cheerful and nice as well. The bulk dozen comes with a variety of Plain, Sesame, Asiago, Chocolate Chip, Blueberry, Cinnamon Raisin and 2 cream cheese shmears (Plain or Garden) for $15.75. Not too shabby! I had missed bagels and was glad to have a Noah's nearby to satisfy my craving and to treat my parents. The bagels were fresh and I liked the variety that they gave. I started out toasting my sesame bagel, added in my fixings I had at home (lox, tomatoes, capers) along with the cream cheese shmear and it was a fantastic filling brunch! I came here on a whim the other day with my friend because we both had a craving for a nice chewy bagel that Noah's is so famous for. I was delighted to find the lobby empty and no wait during the lunch hour! Yay! I was intending to order my bagel when low and behold, I saw their lunch menu and zeroed in on the bagel dog and promptly placed my order to go. My order came out super fast and as I was leaving, they told me to pick out some chips, as it was included. Bonus! My bagel dog was delicious. The bagel was chewy and soft and the dog was piping hot. Not only is this place outrageously overpriced, $16 for a basic bagel with an egg and sausage and a side of orange juice, but it's also unsanitary. The only reason I went is because my boyfriend wanted to go and it was his birthday so I treated him to some breakfast. Only to find out that when he opened it, he sees a huge hair in his food. I ordered ahead (a wise thing to do at this Noahs, gets very busy) and was surprised to see possibly the entire population of Pinole inside this bagel shop. I understandably waited a little for the bagel, and was happy to given the circumstances. While waiting I was very impressed by the patience, professionalism, and kindness of the workers. First, I have always appreciated fast and efficient food service along with the good & consistent quality of their product(s). However, I recently experienced a very undesireable and disappointing encounter with what used to be my favorite Bagel shop which I have or had frequently visited patronized throughout the years. However, I recently experienced a disgusted response to a simple request. Which was one (1), they don't or didn't offer a restroom to its paying Customer, or two (2) it also "conveyed in a different response when I inquired that it was currently occupied". I was shocked when a very rude employee said and pointed to a sign which was pinned to the wall and out of the public site that stated "NO PUBLIC RESTROOM". Therefore I asked or requested a Manager, or to whom I expressed my displeasure in particular when I had just or had visited the store in Pinole only a few days or 72 hours ago. And I was able to wash my hands and utilize this amenity of the facility. Furthermore, I felt that this creates an unhealthy & unsanitary environment when it's paying or any customer can not have access to this within their facility. I was told by the Manager that they did not want to have or shall I say accept the responsibility of maintaining or cleaning this area after public use. However, I chose to go ahead and order my breakfast burrito, medium coffee, and pastry. It was raining and well I had to get back home to work, but I left wondering how can " their employees wash their hands or maintain the basic hygiene or health standards when they are contacting or in contact with the public and why would anyone want to spend an average of fifteen or twenty dollars in a place which doesn't offer a basic service or a need? It was disgusting and I normally would not make an issue of this type of situation, but I have spent a lot of my money in this establishment and they don't want to clean the restroom. :( Just saying and the staff or the employees that they are hiring need a lesson in manners or basic appreciation of their clientele. read more

It has been years since I been to Noah's Bagels. It is the same as it was when I was a student at Pinole Valley High School...amazing service with a smile on their face. It's been a while but we decided to get bagels from Noah's NY bagels. I'm glad we decided to go to this place because these bagels are good. We had the following bagels: Asiago cinnamon sugar french toast chocolate chip honey whole wheat poppyseed It came with this fancy box and since we have a dozen, they gave us an extra bagel. I was about to order some cream cheese and I found out that it came with a couple of cream cheeses of your choice. They had several but decided to get the almond and strawberry when I was about to pay, they gave me a senior discount without asking for one I was surprised about the price of these bagels and what the extras we got for a dozen. I went home with my family surprised with all the extras. The bagels are soft and chewy and all the flavors tasted so good. The cream cheese made it extra special. I was about to get some donuts today but getting these bagels are worthwhile. If you want bagels, Noah's bagels are the place to be. read more
