Hadn't been here for a very long time due to poor service in the past. Recently had a craving for a bagel and decided to give them another try. Two visits were good. I got exactly what what I wanted: an open-faced bagel, toasted, with cream cheese, avocado, and everything seasoning. Went in for a third time and was told they can't put everything seasoning on my bagel...?! The rude GIRL (yes, she was a child) didn't even bother to ask a manager of it was an option. You have avocado toast on the menu that comes with everything seasoning! How are you not able to put it on my cream cheese and avocado bagel?! He said he's been wanting to take me here for a while, but we never go out this way (they need to put a store in our area!) So ran into Lucky's, came out & smelled fresh baked bagels. If you have NOTHING to do and time does not matter then perhaps this is the place for you. Me, not so much! I went in, a couple customers waiting for their order, one person in front of me. The cashier was so slow. She was so annoyed by the customer she was helping; all because she had some kind of a discount or something on her phone. The cashier did not want to deal with the phone. She tried to make the customer feel embarrassed by using it. I'm assuming because she didn't know how to deal with it. I normally try to be more generous now a days with COVID, but my first and only experience here wasn't a great one. I decided to try the curbside pick-up instead of the walk in pick up because I had my son in the car. When I arrived it said to call the number so I did and no one picked up. Maybe it was busy? I tried multiple times for almost 20 minutes and right before I was going to give up and forfeit my order, someone finally picked up and walked out my order a few minutes later. Placed an online order to save time as I was rushing to head to work. Arrived and discovered my order wasn't there for pickup. Its been at least 30 minutes. Spoke with some older lady who I assume is the manager and her initial response was "I am in the middle of something". Great first response! 5 minutes or so elapses. She then looks up my order and tells me "well we made it". Okay then. Maybe you should improve your process. After waiting another 10 minutes she decides to redo my order and rolls her eyes at me while handing the order over. First of all, not sure why your pissed. Your either mad at me, the situation, or because you have rework. Which is it? I understand you are busy and have a steady flux of customers which is good for the stakeholders. Super disappointed i ordered some bagels for my crew at work i requested for the bagels to be wrapped in plastic wrap because of covid-19. I have requested this before and nk issues no problems its great because you can see what kind of bagels it is and not having to touch other bagels in the box... I opened my bagel order box to see they where wrapped in paper with black writing on the outside pretty much saying what kind of bagel it is short version .. I couldn't even understand the writing so if I couldn't understand it then that means other people where not going to understand what kind of bagel it is... which means they are going to have to open it to look...this is exactly why I wanted it wrapped in plastic wrap.. I always order the Chorizo Avocado Sunrise... just enough spiciness to wake me up :) They have a couple of tables outdoor so you can bring your pup...they even have dog treats. I am so disappointed I ruled out Pete's coffee for sitting in Noah's bagels at Petaluma ran an everything bagel was totally sold out took a poppyseed instead ask for vegetable cream cheese with extra vegetables the guy was pleasant tipped him a dollar got my coffee and bagel when I noticed there's no seating in the restaurant and he told me to sit outside but the two tables are taken up with people and there's nowhere to sit so I'm sitting in my car in the hot sun And I begin to eat my bagel and there is like almost no cream cheese on it. I paid for extra cream cheese, cup coffee and a poppyseed bagel. It's dry as can be so between not being able to sit down and relax in the restaurant and not getting an adequate bagel with cream cheese I'm really disappointed. I had a craving for an everything bagel so I decided to check out this location of Noah's Bagels. There's plenty of parking out front. It's next to the Lucky. The pastry and bagel selection was limited. I like an everything bagel that has evvvverything on it but this one lacked topping. The garlic and herb cream cheese was tasty. I tried to order thru DoorDash for a bagel sandwich, I called after I placed the order to request to just change the smear to regular rather than tomato flavored. Today is 3/29/23 1145am and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and had so much attitude about not changing the smear when I asked nicely and hung up. When I called back to ask for corporates number and who the manager was she was still extremely rude with a sarcastic answer. If you are going to be in customer service type of job, why are you working there if you sound like you hate your job and don't want to be there or even try to accommodate to a simple request for the change of smear, she did not need to have so much attitude over a request of smear. This is unfortunately one of the worst Noah's I've been to and it's sadly the closest one to me. Every other Noah's doesn't nearly have as many mess-ups as this one and I feel like I should unravel my bagel before leaving the premises just to make sure it's correct because it's happened a handful of times that something is either missing or almost nonexistent or just the incorrect bagel altogether. Why am I paying you for $7+ a bagel and it looks like you barely put any effort or even tried to make sure all the ingredients were in there? Why did I order a Breakfast BLT but received no bacon nor lettuce? I'm confused as those are 2 main ingredients in the sandwich. Their solution on one occasion was for me to ask for a refund from DoorDash but why when it was your fault?? Dashers aren't allowed to open the bag because it's sealed so it's not their fault. This type of thing has happened numerous times whether thru DD or actual in-person pick-up. I always feel like I paid for something I didn't get, it's annoying and a waste. The employees here either just don't care or don't pay attention -- I almost want to go out on a limb and be rude enough to say they're kinda stupid if they can't get their menu correct. This is the best managed Noah's I've been to. It's always clean and the service is impeccable. I have to attribute it to the management, as I know a business social atmosphere is governed by the management, and this is my favorite place to be. I was hoping to see that they were still open and they are very pleased to be there ordered my food. It was at a timely pick up. it was well done. The store manager is the worse. I ordered a dozen bagels for pick up. When I arrived to the store I requested that they toast one bagel for me to eat now. The clerk told me "they don't toast bagels in the box." I asked her what does she mean, "as she put them in the box. I did not." She told me I had to buy a single bagel, in addition to the dozen, if I want one toasted bagel. She claimed this was a store policy. I told her that does not make any sense and I would like to speak to the manager. The manager confirmed this foolishness. So I told her to give me a new order and this time do not put the bagels in a box so you can toast the one. Instead she told me that she does not toast bagels when bought by the dozen, only single bagels. Please note that by this time the line is all the way to the door, almost outside. She had the audacity to then say to me "I do not have to buy anything, I can leave." I told her I don't have to go anywhere and asked her if this is the way she talks to her customers? I then asked for the regional manager. She said she was the store manager and the regional manager was not available. She continued to assert that this was a store policy and I told her that I know that NO such policy exists, because I always buy bagels by the dozen from the Solano Ave store and they have NEVER said that. She told me they are not the Solano Ave store. Then I asked her to show me the policy. She told me she doesn't have it. I told her I want a new order and to toast my one bagel that she argued with me about for 8 minutes (it would have been quicker to toast the bagel). She then asked me what bagel I wanted toasted, I told her blueberry. She toasted the poppy bagel and then asked me to give her the blueberry bagel. I told her no thank you. He will eat the one she toasted. I would NEVER return to that Noah's and thinking about boycotting them ALTOGETHER because, despite complaining to corporate office~2 months ago, they have yet to respond.
