I've been going to Noah's for over 20 years and the one thing I noticed was what an incredibly hard worker the manager is. She is always there and never stops. She always has a smile on her face and says thank you for coming to Noah's. What an incredible person. She makes sure all her workers are professional. I personally have never seen a manager so dedicated in getting her place working well. I've been manager of a small corporation in San Jose for 10 years as director of operations, so I know what I'm talking about. If she ever quit I would stop going there. She makes it feel like visiting family when I go. I know some people may have to wait at times, but that it because they don't always have enough help, since it seems people today just don't want to work like they used to. The people there are well trained, but it does get a lot of people in at certain times of the day. I don't mind waiting, only because I know everyone is doing their best. Old school location. Hasn't changed in the 15 plus years I've been hanging out on this side of the East Bay. Went today, craving an everything bagel after working out, ya- don't hate. They have a Monday special, box of 13 and two shmears, $12. Not terrible, a lil expensive. The bagels are better than taking a chance at the grocery store bakeries, which can be hit or miss. read more

Bagel shop in a busy strip mall gets plenty of traffic but ( mostly) manages to keep up with the heavy demand of the area. They have a wide variety of traditional and "custom" bagels and some sweet baked good available along with all kinds of sandwiches and basic coffee beverages. Lines can get long and seating is limited but most customers take their orders to go . Crew is friendly , fast and efficient . If you need a quick breakfast or some bagels, this is you best bet in the area. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Noah's bagels today. Wow, the store manager was so delightful and pleasant that I almost had to do a double take. Mind you, it's 6 in the morning and she's as chipper as a blue jay! They had bakers dozens in the ready and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I love the staff here at Noah's. They're so friendly and helpful. I recommend their catering service too but their lunch boxes are the best. Everything is fresh and tasty. During these times, curbside delivery is helpful too. But it's the staff that keeps me returning. Thank you. read more

The thing with ANY Noah's location is that they don't have a decent system of efficiently moving the customers through the line. Other bagel shops operate on an assembly line (kind of like how Subway does sandwiches). Noah's, though, takes each customer's order, and sends it to the "kitchen." There never seems to be enough people preparing the orders, although there are always extra people in the back, probably baking more bagels. They must know what they're doing, by having so many people in the back, but they definitely need more people prepping the orders instead. read more

The manager here was very accommodating to my mom and myself. We had a rather large order and had no clue what to order. The guy made suggestions, told us what bagels were readily available or what was in the oven and even let us use the gift card we earned up front. Apparently these guys will deliver, even to Vallejo, so that's good to know in case I need a box of bagels in the morning. read more

We used to get our bagels here for a long time. Located next to a local Safeway, it was convenient. The last year the bagels are still OK but the quality is not the same. They are the same size but full of air pockets. It's as if they want to maximize their profit margin by letting the bagels rise to the point that there is less dough per a bagel. As a New Yorker, we like dense bagels with lots of cream cheese or about twice as much as they give you. We will drive the extra distance and go to a local bagel shop such as NY Bagel. There are better options than this chain, in other words, shop local. read more

Wow, ordered a jalepeno cheddar bagel not toasted with smear on it and asked to cut in half. And I get a bagel not cut at all with no smear on it and a smear on the side....Wow. This Noah's is the worst. Every time I come here they mess up my order. Well no more. I gave you three chances. You are out. I ask for you to toast my bagel, you don't. I ask for lox, you don't have any. I ask for easy cream cheese, you load it up. Yes the staff is rude. Yes they will mess up your order no matter how simple. Yes they rarely have lox. I love going to Noah's. I've been going for 20 years simply because of Liz, who is the hardest working manager I know. I even see her on her days off primarily because it is so hard to find help these days. The food is great and she really trains her help well. It's hit and miss with this location. This is a semi regular stop in the mornings, grabbing the hate to wait box to take to work. Some mornings (before 7:30) the shelves are stocked, sometimes they are relatively empty. Service is usually slow, and your order gets transferred to 2 or 3 people before making it to the cashier. Then the cashier usually has to ask you what you ordered etc. If they improved their coffee selection/offerings it would be more appealing to come here. read more

I have been going to Noah's Bagels for nearly all my life and my experience today makes me feel bad about the fact that THIS is the only Noah's Bagels I can go to. Today, I asked for my usual egg sandwich with cheese on an Everything Bagel and the old lady who took my order was rudely teaching ME how to order at the establishment. Furthermore, after I ordered a half dozen bagels I told her to slice the bagels for me, and she groaned bluntly and proceeded to start to slice them. Friendly staff! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Nice and clean. I guess with all the Trans Fat drive thru's that are at this mini mall it doesn't get that busy here after the breakfast rush. I ordered a Tuna on Asiago toasted. He asked if I wanted everything on it, I said no just cucumber's. Otherwise everything will squish right out! He said "Ya, thats true. Tricky Tuna!" The times I've been here, the bagels are fresh, soft and chewy. Unlike other Noah's I've been to in the Bay Area. The problem I have is the wait and the slow staff. There is no signs to say which way the line starts and people are standing all over the place. I just make sure to go during an off time when I make my bagel runs. read more

GREAT management!! We have come to this location often and never have issues. Today our order got missed in the chaos. Once we brought it to their attention, it was handled very quickly and the manager threw in a couple treats with a refund. I hate to give 1 star. Not usually what I do, but I have been here many times and every time I leave I say "Never Again!" I come back because my son and hubby like bagels and salmon schmear. Regularly they are out of super onion bagels but there are plenty of blueberry and chocolate chip (yuck!) The lay out of the store is awful, and the way they handle order taking and making of the food is just plain stupid. Rosa is a pill but Jordan truly wants to please and be helpful. They could of had Peet's coffee in there but they refused to follow Peet's rules about brewing Nd timing, can't imagine ordering coffee there. And lastly Lox is cold smoked salmon that you have in your case, apparently the staff have no idea what that is and I had to help a customer to find what he was looking for. read more

I order an Egg MIT Bagel with spinach, egg, and cheddar... It took about 3 minutes for the lady to write it down properly. For some reason, she asked me if I wanted mushrooms 3 times and I had to clarify this very simple detail. She also asked me twice "for here or to go"...? She was an older lady, but very unorganized. My bagel wasn't very flavorful, and I even gave them the OK for salt, pepper, and chives. Didn't taste those at all. The coffee was decent, but expensive for a small cup. I love the other Noah's locations so when I moved to Pinole, I was very excited to have one nearby my house. I went this morning to get some breakfast sandwiches for myself and coworkers and an elderly woman took my order. She grabbed the drinks from me to see what they were instead of just listening to me say what it was. I had to repeat the food order 3x before she got it. Beyond annoying and frustrating at 6:30am. The rest of the staff was very nice and the food was delicious. But damn she had horrible customer service skills. read more
