We had Noah's food truck at a local winery. The food was good but the dudes got my bill wrong twice. One guy made some awkward announcements about my forgotten taco, was it he or I that forgot? Either way, auctioning food was an interesting departure from the seriously awesome atmosphere. I was overcharged $17 and when confronted he came up with $10. If you aren't going to give receipts at least take better notes so you aren't miscalculating. I settled on $10 of which I threw half in the tip jar, come on man! Very tasty veggie based dinner. Roasted local corn was good but heavy on the aioli or whatever spread it was slathered with. Kale and peach salad with feta was basic but yummy. The butter-dipped lobster roll was good and very fresh. Lots of claw meat. Servers are attentive and the restaurant is well run. We even filled out a review card of our dining experience which got us $5 off our bill! We dined outside which is a nice spot for dinner. Overall, would recommend! read more

I am thoroughly impressed! We came as a group of 5 for my girlfriend's 30th birthday celebration. It was tough to get a reservation, but while dining we never felt rushed. My friend accidentally spilled some of her wine - not only was the staff paying attention and immediately cleaned up the mess, but they also brought her a new glass at no charge. It's Mothers Day weekend, and myself and 6 friends are in Greenport for the weekend, and went to Noah's last night on the advice of a friend. Consensus over all was three stars. They did accommodate us at the last minute on a busy night, and that was wonderful. It was busy, so service was a bit slow, but certainly not a deal breaker. Mixed drinks were very good. Small plates were very good as well- Beet salad, Skirt steak, crab cakes, soft shell crab special, beet and feta risotto - wonderful. The large plate mushroom risotto yummy, according to Marie and Sue! Large plates on the pricey side, and guys would not be satisfied with the small plates, so bring your wallets. Definitely a no for Noah's! We did not even get to eat here and it was a terrible experience. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait and we patiently waited at the bar and had a drink and 30 minutes later we inquired and the staff was rude and in experienced. I came here twice in one week for mid day snacks and cocktails while on vacation in Greenport. The tasmanian red crab tacos are to die for, and the bacon beer almonds are a must have. Very pleasant service and the cocktail list was very unique. I cannot wait to come back! read more

Wife and I LOVE Noah's. We've been several times over the past two seasons. This was our first trip up to the North Fork this summer. Unfortunately I have to say that Noah's is suffering from a belated sophomore slump. The quality was WAY off across the board and the once exceptional bistro service has slipped to drop the plate and run diner style service. It was a Tuesday and the restaurant was relatively busy. We asked to see if the chef was in but he was out at a catering event. Im thinking time would be better spent behind the line at his restaurant then spreading the brand to private events. I see this place sliding into oblivion unless an immediate correction is made. Doubt we'll make the hour long drive again. read more

I would have loved to review the food here, had I been seated. Showed up around 9:40, (knew it was late and close to the closing time), and I wouldn't have minded that the hostess told me that the kitchen was closing in 5 min and they wouldn't seat me, but, she seated a couple right in front of me as I was asking this. So basically the good could be amazing, (I will never know) but what's certain is that the service is the worst. Hopefully management sees this review and does something about it. Had another wonderful dinner at Noah's last night The ambiance is romantic with beautiful round white light fixtures hanging from the tall ceilings and the amount of light is just right. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants on the North Fork. The cauliflower mash, crab taco's, pulled duck, and filet mignon sliders small plates were to die for. Love that they use local wineries as well as outside wineries around the world. The Bedell Merlot is incredible. Can not wait to come back! read more

We were disappointed overall, as we had high expectations based on all the hype. We ordered only small plates of very complicated and unexpected combinations. HIgh marks on creativity but overall flavors did not work together. Our waitress was very nice and recommended a fantastic wine. The kobe burger was decent-flavorful and cooked to a perfect medium. Pickles were crisp and very tasty. However, it was what a burger should be, nothing more nothing less. The menu seems a bit schizophrenic, some might say eclectic but I found it difficult to make many 'pairings' that made palatable sense. Fish and chips priced at $26 seems overpriced, I don't care where the fish came from. Awesome eating environment for lunch, with music playing at a conversational volume it was pleasant. However, the ceilings are high and the space is big, so once tables starts getting filled, the chatter replaces the music as background. Having traveled all the way from New Jersey to spend a birthday weekend in Greenport with a newborn son, we made a reservation at Noah's. We arrived and the power went out- no generator. We are completely understanding that sometimes this will happen but we sat there as it got progressively darker being told that they were still serving. We ordered- afraid to leave in case no place else would have availability, especially since we have a baby. Long story short-by the time they made the food and packed it for us to go- since the place was pitch black- we asked for them to comp something- even a drink- they refused! Worst customer service ever and we will never ever return to this horrid excuse of a restaurant. Please stay away!! read more

Food was great. Service was kind of slow. The dishes were pricey and very small. Ordered the boulliabaise. It was excellent but times. Two shrimps two scallops two clams and a couple of really low quality muscles. Broth was excellent. They should stop being so stingy with the meat. read more

It has been quite a while since I have been made to feel this unwelcome in a restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by an unfriendly staff member and an unpleasant smell which I can best describe as low tide in a marsh. The menu selection was unimpressive. We enjoyed the cheese plate (how can you go wrong with Catapano goat cheese?) I wasn't totally unhappy with the tuna and avocado tartare but the spring vegetable risotto was tasteless. We ate at Noah's our first night of a five day stay in Greenport. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and with the food-- the quality of everything was simply wonderful, the presentation gorgeous, the service attentive. But the portions are VERY small for the prices they charge. We also ate at Scrimshaw and at Vine Wine & Cafe -- restaurants at an equivalent price point, and with a similar approach to food-- and at Noah's, we spent about the same amount for about 1/3 less food per serving . We were very happy with our meal there in terms of everything BUT the quantity. In a competitive business climate, a model where you pay the same or more and get less is simply not sustainable in the long term. read more

I was expecting something really good but was really disappointed. Being a Brit I thought the best test of the kitchen was fish and chips. It can be done so well...fresh fish, crispy batter, quality potatoes for tasty crispy chips (French fries). At Noah's, the batter was clearly made too thick so it wasn't cooked next to the fish. Yuk, I couldn't eat that since it made me gag. My 9yo daughter, who knows quality F&C felt the same way. The chips we're too small, hard and full of grease. Seemed like a reheat job. Great service/friendly waitstaff. Bartender could probably smile a little more bu t maybe thats asking too much. The menu is somewhat creative but very, very overpriced for what you get. Crab tacos are tiny, and the crab salad filling is so wet that the shells were soggy and it dripped everywhere. Crab deviled eggs (I like crab) were pretty good but again way overpriced for a cold finger food. I know theyre trying to be city chic, but hey...this isn't the city so many you can bring your prices down just a little. Pipes Cove oysters are not to be missed though- I would return just to sit at the bar and take down a dozen with a glass of bubbly. My dates burger was ok but a bit greasy. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the North Fork. It's consistently excellent. The service, the menu's seasonality, and the informal bistro atmosphere really makes this place a winner. Start with the "Three for Fifteen", stay clear of the clam chowder (it's very good but don't waste your appetite), and go with just about anything else, especially seafood! read more

Chef Noah makes even things that might not be your favorites, become your favorites because of his amazing expertise. My only complaint is we don't live close enough to go more often. Such a pretty spot in greenport. Food was really good. The calamari was the MOST TENDER calamari i've ever eaten in my life. The appetizer TOFU, was fantastic.....texture and flavor. During the planning phase of our Greenport trip, I did a lot of research on restaurants in the area. Noah's came up on all the lists as one of the top...must go restaurants. However, I didn't make plans to go because my husband and I really enjoy nice outdoor dining with ambiance and Noah's didn't offer that. But when we got there, all of the locals and tourists we spoke to all raved about Noah's so we decided to give it a try anyway and the conclusion is...I regretted it. Maybe our expectations were too high, but shouldn't we expect the best? Anyway, they're known for their small plate/tapas style dining (they do serve some large plates as well), but these just didn't do much for me and left me wanting for much more...of some place else. To start, we had the Ahi tuna poke, which was definitely fresh but bland. Then we had the lobster rolls. For the price, this was definitely not worth it. It was two very small, buns with a few small pieces of recognizable lobster. The rest was meat from the tiny claws that nobody ever eats. I've never actually had a lobster roll where they used meat from those teeny tiny claws. I'm actually impressed that they're even able to get meat out of them. I would hate to have the job of getting the meat out of those suckers though. Anyhoot, size problems aside, lobster rolls were eh in taste. Then we tried the crab tacos which were pretty good. They were tasty, light, went well with the shell. Nice combo there. Then we had the octopus skewer which had nice flavor but arrived cold. Pretty sure it wasn't meant to be a cold dish. The biggest disappointment of the night for me was the large plate we shared. I love a good crispy duck confit and pretty much 10 out of 10 times if I see it on a menu I will order it. This time I really regretted it. This "crispy" duck confit was hardly crispy and really deviated from the sear and roast style that I feel a crispy duck should be made. This one came out floating in a pool of broth, with super tender and bland meat. The crispy skin they promised was abysmal. I think what they did was actually simmer the duck in the broth for a few hours, maybe they seared the skin prior to bathing it in the broth but this was nowhere near a crispy duck confit. Super disappointed by this dish. The only saving grace was the key lime pie I had afterward which I thought was probably one of the best I've ever had. All in all, we weren't wowed or impressed by anything we had here. We've definitely had better tapas elsewhere and I'm disappointed that we chose to come here for my husband's birthday/our anniversary dinner. We should have gone back to American Beech which we enjoyed so much more. read more

The cooks did nothing to spice up dishes which weren't prone to be spicy; specifically neither the risotto nor the cauliflower had anything interesting going on with them. read more

From the looks of it, the food at this restaurant looks really great--the presentation is fantastic and the menu can make you salivate. However, that is not reflective of how it tastes. Tuna burger was like minced tuna with some sort of breadcrumb combo. Had no flavor. Also asked for rare and got medium well. Fries were decent. My girlfriend had the french toast--it was about 2 bites worth and she also said hers had no flavor. My other girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her cobb salad though. We have wanted to go to this restaurant for quite awhile. I have heard some good and some bad. Unfortunately our experience was bad. We went on a Thursday evening in May. We walked in and immediately smelled an awful fish smell. That is the first clue that something is very wrong. We decided to be seated anyway. The place was basically empty with the exception of a few tables. They bring us to a table with a chair on one side and a bench on the other with a split in it. ???? We actually had to move the table so my wife was not sitting on a split in cushions. The menu was a little gourmet (which we usually like) but in this instance less is more. We ordered a few from the small plates and 1 crab cake meal. I couldn't believe when the crab cake arrived it was a scoop of crabmeat salad on a bun with a ton of french fries $22.00. I would not have ordered a scoop of crab meat salad had I known. It was tasteless. One of the small plates was filet mignon sliders. The meat was fine but it was mixed with so much seasoning and sauce that you could barely taste it. Our experience was not a good memorable one. Definitely overrated and over priced. We will not return. I guess if you advertise enough you will eventually be known good or bad. read more

This is the second year we came to Greenport and Noah's. Both times we had great food and a fine dining experience. The grilled octopus served over thinly sliced fennel and watermelon was delicious. It was a surprisingly nice mix of flavors and textures that complimented and enhanced each other. The tempura zucchini flowers with goat cheese were delicious too! We ordered the kale salad, tuna tartar and crab tacos to start also. The tuna tartar was cooked and not what we expected but still very good. I ordered the lobster roll, a can't miss basic but other members of our party ordered the scallop special, the sea bass, and orecchiette with shrimp. Everyone was happy with their order. We even made room for dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was the best. What makes this restaurant a standout is that the food tastes fresh and shines on its own without heavy added spice or sauces. The drink specials are interesting and tasty. The wine selection is very good. Our party which included a talented chef, gives Noah's a big thumbs up! read more

Noah's has been my favorite restaurant since it opened. However, the past three times I have been there I have been terribly disappointed. The fries, which were the best on the North Fork, are soggy. The crab cake, tasteless. The mussels, which were a favorite of mine, were minuscule and overdone. The lobster roll had about a quarter of a cup of lobster salad in a huge roll. Noah, what has happened????? Unfortunately I have decided that after three disappointing meals you are off my list of favorite restaurants. There are too many great restaurants on the North Fork that continue to offer great food that I can choose from. One star, and that is a gift. read more

Some site problems but an pleasant B&M experience for Sunday brunch, which had a 4-item menu complementing the normal items (Smoked Salmon option was tempting). We received a small half loaf of mediocre bread with whipped butter (they never returned bearing or offering a second round, or at all, really). What I ordered were the Crab Deviled Eggs, BBQ'd Local Oysters, Crab Tacos, & Shrimp Ceviche; there were, however, no oysters to be found (and we were never once checked upon). Otherwise, friendly, competent service for the first people to walk in. A vast space with some island tunes blasting in on a dreary morning with views of the Greenport Post Office. They swapped menus & water containers by the time we placed said order. Crab deviled eggs were a pair for $4 and quite tasty but gone too quickly, and not up to the hype for sure. The ceviche was overpowering but quite good (in hindsight, I probably should've went with tuna tartare). The crab tacos were not messy at all and phenomenal. The lobster roll was reportedly also solid. Papers rested under every dish, parts of the menu, perhaps an attempt at the Green movement? Tall, well-kept restrooms but unlabeled and the doors did not close easily. They were slow to grab the check out of the oddly shaped candle-owner. Folks had started piling in as we exited to commence our G'port sweets tour. read more

I really hate giving this poor review, because there was one bright & shining star at this place - - and that was the bartender, Pam. She greeted us and was warm and attentive. We went here for the Thursday night burger special, and IF we go back, it will only be to see her. The burger was just OK. Rather than describe what was wrong, let me tell you that we went early, and there were only 4 groups of patrons at the bar. Of those 4 groups -- 3 of us had issues with our food. When the first was brought to the attention of the Chef, he badgered the waitress who brought it back instead of taking responsibility. The staff was actually afraid to approach this Chef (Jose), because of his poor attitude. Take responsibility and don't blame others for your errors. 3 out of 4 groups unhappy? Now I see why this place doesn't have better ratings. Even the manager did NOT want to get involved (don't know her name, but it was Thursday 9/5/19)I think it's time for Noah to get back there and put his foot up Jose's & the manager's butt. read more

We had such a nice day in greenport as a day trip until we stopped at noah's recommended by one of the businessmen in the town. The food was strange tasting. We have had many lobster rolls in this life but this one at $25.00 each had a strange taste that was unpleasant. It was very small and all 4 of us left the restaurant hungry...even those that had a different dish. The cole slaw tasted fishy.
