I really wanted to like Noble Pro. The guys that run the company seem like great people. They were accommodating and finished on time. At the end of the day, however, I was a bit disappointed to a few reasons. My expectations in hiring painters is to have someone paying attention to straight lines, coverage and cleanliness. Granted my place is older, which can cause problems for painters as edges are sharp and walls not straight, there are enough places in my condo where this isn't the case to say that Noble did not meet expectations with respect to keeping straight lines. There are too many places where they didn't keep things straight or in the lines for me to recommend them. Now we aren't talking about something you would notice if you were to come over and walk through, but it is noticeable if you look at it. Also, there were places on the baseboards where they didn't fully cover the prior paint. Finally, while they were very accommodating in patching and repairing drywall, there was dust everywhere. Also, we have found places with little drips here and there. Again, not something you would notice if you were to come over for dinner, but something you would notice as the owner who sweeps floors and cleans the place. I certainly could be criticized for not pushing the company to remedy the situation, but I really don't like being put in that position. I would hold a pro painter to the standard of not requiring me to be their quality control. Add to that I simply am not in a position to have painters in our condo for more time. So in conclusion, eminently likable guys, quality left a lot to be desired. Update: The Company did contact me and state that they are willing to come and make things right. Unfortunately with two infants at home, we simply cannot have more time with stuff out of order. But I thought that readers should know that Noble Pro cares enough to respond to my criticism and try and remedy the problems. read more

Unprofessional, poor project management, ineffective communication, and inability to meet excepted deadlines are words I would use to describe Noble Painting. Be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing. Otherwise, you will have surprise "additional work" charges on your bill. When they are performing the actual work (once they get around to it), be certain to ask if they tell you something (that seems like they are just telling you what they are doing) that you will not be charged for this work (for instance, cutting holes in your ceiling or wall that was not specially laid out in the contract that they would fix without charging you, but they need to do this to complete the work that was laid out in the contract). Ensure that anything the project manager Daniela tells you is in writing and log every conversation you have with her. Be prepared for your project to take longer than you were told. Be prepared for resources to not be available for long periods of time. I am extremely disappointed with Noble. I had them do a few projects in my home. I signed the contract in February, but no work was started until May. Initially, I was told it would be a few weeks before they could start - which was fine. The work was supposed to start in April, but was started a month later (with no communication to me personally), but was still fine as I was in no specific hurry for the project to start (however, I did not want it to drag on in excess once it did start). They called me the week before they wanted to come start the work and assumed I could be available - not possible since I have a full time job and I cannot just take off work at the last minute. The contract required a 50% down payment - except when I was given the contract, I had to pay a 75% down payment. Without issue, I paid this 75% down when I signed the contract and patiently waited to hear from Noble - for 3 months. Ironically, after the "additional work" charges were added to my contract, my down payment ended up being exactly 50% (which I do not believe was by coincidence). I discussed work that was to be completed with the PM that later was told was an extra charge. My project was supposed to be one week, but it was one month (with weeks in the middle of no work, but my house was left in a complete disarray). They used my personal materials without asking permission and entered my personal spaces to use these materials without asking. That being said, Xaiver is a lovely man that does a nice job painting. Had I dealt with him the entire project, I probably would have had a different outcome. The issue was not the actual dollar amount, but rather that they did work that they did not explain was going to be an extra charge. I understand that sometimes additional work needs to be completed and that projects might go over budget, but I would have appreciated a charge breakout and explanation for "repairs" that appeared on my final invoice. I feel completely taken advantage of by Noble. I would consider using another resource. read more

We hired Noble to fix our bathroom self wallpaper disaster. (My husband and I tried to do it ourselves and it looked like a toddlers effort.) Christopher was quick in both responding to our request and giving us a fair quote. The gentleman who did the wallpaper was quiet, fast, and his work quality was fantastic. The wallpaper we selected is a flock damask and the pattern is pretty intricate. The job was so well done that you can't even tell where the seam is! Two thumbs up for Noble Pro. read more

NobleProPainting just finished a magnificent job of wallpapering my bedroom. This is a real craft, and there are not many who can do such expert work. This was important to me because the Cole & Son wallpaper I chose is not inexpensive, and any mistakes or shoddy workmanship would have been awful. From start to finish, the team at NoblePro estimated my project, prepped the walls and installed the paper, keeping to the schedule they had set and cleaning up everything. Because this is a vintage building, I'm sure the walls presented challenges, but the end result is spectacular. These guys really are terrific! I found the company on Yelp, where I read reviews and saw photos some people posted. They re-did my whole apartment: papered the living room, painted the hall, kitchen, and bath, papered one wall in the bedroom and painted the others. Their work is meticulous, both the painting and the papering. I seriously have a hard time finding the seams on the papered walls, and in one place, where the paper ends against a painted wall, the stripe on the paper was precisely straight in alignment with the painted edge. The guys are friendly and easy to like. I spent much of one day talking with the painter, just because we got started and kept going. The price was reasonable, within the amount I had budgeted, and worth every single dollar. I recommend Noble Pro without any reservations. read more
