First time eating here and it didn't disappoint. Everything was fresh and creative. Service was stellar and our waiter was knowledgeable about not only the food menu but the drink menu as well. Hubby and I started with the neki toro and tempura poke rolls both which were super fresh. The rolls also seemed to have less rice than other sushi restaurants we frequent which we both loved. If you are a tuna lover like I am, I highly recommend to try the toro flight as well! The Dungeness crab salad was interesting but absolutely delish. It comes on a bed of tuna carpaccio which makes for a nice presentation. The kamo crostini (duck breast with onion jam on house made toast points) is inventive and flavorful. Each bite had that satisfying sweet and savory element to it. To round out our supper, we also shared the kinoko gohan with salmon (mushroom coconut rice with a salmon filet) and it was for sure the highlight of the meal!The salmon is marinated and cooked to perfection so it just melts in your mouth and much like the crostini, there is a sweet and savoriness to each bite of the salmon and rice. For desert we tried the soy milk panna cotta which was silky and light. The restaurant itself is super cute and well done inside. It is dark enough to create a cozy, intimate ambiance without being so dark you can't see what you are eating. The noise level is also acceptable. The restaurant was pretty busy while we were there yet we were still able to enjoy good conversation without feeling like we had to yell to one another across the booth. Definitely a five star experience. The things Noble Rice does well they do extremely well. I got the fig sour and it was absolutely delicious. I would get this every single time and I wish other places made it. My friends all loved their drinks too, so I think the drinks here were a total hit. Our absolute favorite dish was a mushroom coconut rice. We actually ended up ordering a second order of it because it was so good. If you like coconut, this is your dish. It is a savory dish so it is eaten for dinner. All of the rolls were very good too. They come with eight pieces so they are on the larger side. All of the fish tasted so fresh. The one thing I was not a fan of was the Shishito peppers. They weren't as blistered as I generally like it. Also, the kale salad was a little spicy for my taste. I did love the candied nuts and if it wasn't so spicy, I would have enjoyed it so much more. But I do think the taste was really interesting and if you can handle spice, I would recommend it. The desserts are divine. We got the Belgian waffle and the Panna cotta. The Panna cotta was definitely my favorite. They are small desserts so at first, I was nervous ordering two desserts for our table of four women, but when they came, we cracked up because our waitress said that the Belgian waffle was perfect for four people, and it was because we had another dessert. Otherwise it is tiny. These are not huge desserts. This place is basically on Sparkman's wharf. So paid parking is plenty full as long as there isn't an event happening. I'm going to say something bold, hands-down this is the best restaurant in the Sparkman's wharf area! This Michelin rated restaurant will not disappoint. The sushi is fresh and unique with the different options and flavors they have. If you're a sushi lover you can't go wrong with any of the sushi options. I recommend getting the Ramen. I can truly stay It was the best Ramen I have had in Tampa! Something to note is there is plenty of parking at the garage across the street. If you happen to go on an event night all you need to do is show your reservation and parking is only five dollars. First time checking this spot out. From the reservation to the paying the check, it's evident that they took their time with creating a real experience here. The restaurant and outside entrance is decorated beautifully. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations based on diet restrictions and allergies and didn't rush us at all, especially since we're indecisive on what we wanted to try. The food is absolutely amazing. Flavorful, filling and played wonderfully. Don't walk run to this spot. Oh, the reservation confirmation being used as a way to get a discount on parking was chef's kiss. Just show the parking attendant and it made a $40 parking fee just $5! We went to Noble Rice years ago when it was on Platt and absolutely loved it. We hadn't been since their move and the new Michelin guide status, so we knew we needed to check it out for our anniversary. Parking can be pretty rough. We were unaware there was a hockey game and other events going on already at 5 that night. I thought we'd beat it all, but that was a mistake. The parking garage across the street when there are events is $30 but if you show them your reservation it drops down to $5! The service. They are all trained so well. Even when you have your little chopstick wrappers on the table - it didn't matter if it's your server or not, they quietly snatch it up as they walk by. I watched the wait staff and they were all great, but... WOW! We were so blessed to have Kora as our server that evening. You can just tell the difference when someone is being kind because it's their job and when they're just genuine. She is exemplary! Her friendliness and bright personality really made this experience special. She made incredible recommendations. We tried things we never would have tried otherwise, and she was spot on. She is a true gift to your restaurant. We started with sushi rolls - the tempura poke and the kani. The tempura poke had a great texture and the white soy with it was nice. The kani - I wasn't sure about apple - but it was such a light roll that had a freshness too it that was refreshing. The wagyu shrimp toast. I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed what seemed like a large pile of herbs. It looked like it would be too fragrant, but you just get these nice hits of mint and cilantro. The toast was crisp on the outside but everything was soft and pillowy inside. The fried chicken bao buns. The buns themselves were nice and thinner, not super doughy. The chicken was delicious but the red eye gravy took it over the top with a nice slow burn of heat. This place is outstanding. Also ordered Kinoko Gohan (mushroom rice), salmon sashimi, shishito peppers with country ham on the side, tuna sashimi platter (akami, Chu toro, toro, otoro), umami roll, and negi toro. If you are vegetarian, there aren't a ton of option but the mushroom rice, shishito peppers, and umami roll tasted phenomenal. The tuna sashimi platter was great because you can try different selections (from leanest to fattiest tuna). My favorite was the fattiest tuna. The negi toro roll was also super yummy. First time dining here. We came here for happy hour. Happy hour every Tuesday to Saturday from 5-7pm. I would really suggest getting reservations. The restaurant got busy fast! Now for the food: The Bulgogi Hand Roll was very good. The cucumber salad inside added a fresh contrast. Hard to dislike, 8/10. The King Salmon Roll was unfortunately a bit bland and underwhelming. Really didn't taste like much but if you're picky with the more unique ingredients they use then this is your roll, 4/10. The Bao Buns were easily one of the highlights. The braised short rib was sweet, tender, and packed with flavor. The cabbage and the pear added a lovely texture, 8/10. The Tempura Poke Roll tasted incredibly fresh -- you could genuinely taste the quality of the fish. Once again though, if you want to taste the fish and different ingredients in the roll as I do, then it will still be underwhelming, 6/10. THE STANDOUT of the night was the Karaage Chicken. Crispy, flavorful, and paired with a citrusy-style mayonnaise that complemented it perfectly. WHO TF doesn't love great fried chicken?, 8.5/10 The Miso Kaiyo Salmon paired with the Mushroom Rice was probably my least favorite as I just don't like mushrooms. However, the salmon was tasty and extremely tender, but I think I'd skip this one regardless, 6/10. Was it worth it? I would lean towards yes, if you order the right things. Would I return? I can't believe it's been over 3 years since Noble Rice opened and this was our very first visit! It absolutely blew us away. The service was impeccable. Hostess Angel greeted us warmly, and our server Allison A. was simply outstanding ~ easily one of the best experiences we've had anywhere in Tampa. We started with drinks, and every single one was perfect. The Lychee Martini was smooth and floral, the Espresso Martini had just the right kick, and the Haku ~ their version of a Moscow Mule ~ was phenomenal. My husband is a self-proclaimed Moscow Mule connoisseur, and he gave it high praise. The food? Next-level. The Tuna Carpaccio was the star of the show ~ literally melted in our mouths. We also loved the Classic Poké, Tempura Poké Rolls, and the Tekka Roll ~ all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with different types of soy causes for each. The only item that didn't quite hit the mark for us was the Hanabi Maki ~ still very fresh, just not our personal favorite. I'm sure many others enjoy it! What really stood out was the service ~ something that has unfortunately been on the decline across Tampa in recent years. But at Noble Rice, everyone went above and beyond. My husbands only gripe was when doing this you couldn't get an exact replica of something you just ate (ex. can order scallop but can't get it with the truffle topping). Really enjoyed our dinner at Noble Rice! We originally had a reservation at 9PM but that was quite late for us so we arrived exactly at opening to try and get a table earlier. They were able to seat us at 5pm with the stipulation that we give the table back at 7pm which was super doable for us. The wait staff was extremely kind and gave great recommendations, even going as far as telling us what not to get and what was good nearby for dessert when none of their options were to our preference! That kind of honesty was really appreciated. Unfortunately I only took photos of the tartare and the chicken bao because we devoured everything else. I really liked the tartare, it had a unique flavor with the pear that was both sweet and spicy. We also got the negitoro and tempura poke rolls, and surprisingly I enjoyed the tempura poke roll more! After putting in some thought, I'm retracting my previous recommendation of this place. I was celebrating with my wife the night of, so I wrote a quick and simple review because I was excited to give 5*s but this experience fell significantly short of my expectations. Ambiance is quite nice, I appreciated the lighting. The music was quite loud during my experience so when the chefs presented each dish, it sounded like they had marbles in their mouths as they were reciting their memorized lines. I'd consider myself either average or slightly above average in size. At 5'10", 235 lbs (formerly 355 lbs!), I found the chairs and seating to be completely unacceptable. I was crammed into a little bar stool and was extremely uncomfortable for the duration of my meal. My wife usually complains about this type of thing and she didn't hear so maybe I'm overreacting. Maybe not though. I don't mind spending this type of money on dinner. I've done it several times in many large cities. I appreciate the extra quality ingredients and the theatrical presentation. What did blow my mind though, was that I was still HUNGRY after the last main item and before the dessert presentation. There's absolutely no excuse for this. My wife was hungry also so this is something I know is not just me. She eats like a bird too so this is a real serious knock on this experience. We added a simple tuna roll at the end, but as a chef, wouldn't that be embarrassing for someone to need to do after ordering the $150 per person plus tip prepaid in advance omakase? I completely get that I'm potentially a fat slob of an American that expects a few too many ounces of protein with my meal, but I was extremely dissatisfied with Noble Rice and truly couldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

We celebrated our friends birthday last night at this great establishment. As soon as we walked in the door Blake greeted us by name and made us feel very welcome. Then Ronny our amazing serving took top notch care of us the entire time. Immediately recommending A phenomenal bottle of Saki. Then brought out as what I can describe as the best sushi in the entire tampa Bay Area. I say this in the context that I recently returned from Coruna Spain( the Galicia region of Spain) know for the best seafood in all of Spain). While there I experienced the best Sushi I've ever partaken in. Last night what I experienced at Noble Rice rivaled my previous experience in Spain in every capacity. My experience as a foodie can only be described as a food Religious experience. So much so that I am taking my wife back there less than 24 hours later. That how much this Restaurant is on my mind.
