Eating at Nobu was a culinary delight! The staff was outstanding... Charles, Jazmyn, and Thomas served a magnificent meal... It was a memorable evening... Nobu is a great restaurant, serving delicious and healthy food. Kudos to all.! +

Had an amazing brunch at Nobu today--great food and outstanding service. Everything was delicious! Jennifer, our server assistant, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond. She truly deserves a promotion to server soon. We had the best time at Nobu today.

This place does not deserve the name of NOBU, as many have already made clear in their reviews, this feels more like a cheap knock off although nothing is actually "cheap". To garner the expectations of any would be patrons who may be looking to experience the well known Nobu...do not go to this one. The once coveted Miso Black Cod was served tepid and full of bones, the new craze Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna was served deconstructed like a bar appetizer, and the sushi was edible at best. If it was just some of the dishes that was wrong maybe you could still stomach the price but unfortunately the service was just as cold and stale as the fish. Undertrained and lacking is the feeling you will come away with upon arrival at your table. Lastly if all of that was not enough to keep you from coming...it's NOT a NOBU. There is not a single hint in the ambiance that you are dining at the world renowned exclusive Matsuhisa masterpiece that many have come to love. Find a different Nobu or don't go at all.

Nobu never disappoints! Food service and ambiance were off the charts.... Zero complaints with anything. The sooner they get this location built and out of the lobby the better for everyone! Can't wait to return.

The food was good quality but the service was poor, everything took forever and the server even forgot to put our order in.

Tasted like supermarket sushi. No way this location is affiliated with the actual Nobu.

The bartender, Britt, has such a great attitude and makes even better cocktails :) They have a rotating drink menu so there's always something fun and fresh/unique to try. The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

The menu had a lot of interesting options, but those two ended up being the highlights for our table. The deviled eggs had a subtle smoky flavor that worked really well without being overpowering. I also liked the cauliflower more than expected since it stayed crispy instead of getting soggy in the sauce. Service felt steady throughout the night even when more tables started filling in around us. Our server checked on timing, kept drinks refilled, and gave us space to enjoy the meal without rushing anything. The whole place had a relaxed neighborhood feel that made dinner easygoing.

A few of the things I liked.. - Fruit juice used for mixers is made in-house fresh daily. The drinks are creative and made well. - The sweet and sour cauliflower, the sliders, the chicken and dumplings. - Servers are always knowledgeable and attentive - indoor and outdoor seating with fans on a warm day. Upscale vibe with dim lighting. - plenty of parking A few I didn't.. - The fish dip was just ok - the fried part of the southern fried chicken while juicy on the inside, lacked flavor - the up charge for almond vanilla milk in the espresso martini without being told up front of the added cost -the steak tartare happy hour portion is 1 bite-sized piece. Just offer the normal sized portion for a reduced happy hour price as opposed to 1/4th the portion for 1/3rd the price. Overall I would say every experience is good but not great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try and seeing if you agree with my review.

The place is tucked away and low key on purpose, but once you step inside, it's like entering another world. A magical land where cocktails reign supreme and Vincent is the all-powerful sorcerer behind the bar. There's no menu here... and there doesn't need to be. You simply tell Vincent what you're craving, and he conjures it with a flick of the wrist, a dash of bitters, and probably some ancient incantation whispered under his breath. I had three... maybe four drinks (time works differently in magical places), and each one was flawless. Complex yet balanced, bold yet smooth... true potions of happiness. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in this enchanted hideaway on the one night a week it's open, let Vincent work his craft. Just know you'll leave spellbound... and in my case, headed straight to bed, because even wizards can't save a 40-year-old from an early bedtime after a few too many old fashioneds.

Another fantastic meal at Nicholson Muir. This one was a birthday celebration on the coldest night…read morein Boynton Beach in decades, around 32F. The roaring fire added ambience; it doesn't happen often in south Florida but on this "frigid" night the fire was really needed. We started at the bar with a few drinks including the Dr. No, and then moved to our table, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was Saturday night, 8:30 pm and the restaurant was quite full. I always get the wedge salad and I especially like NM's version with avocado and a thick, creamy blue cheese dressing (but not overpowering everything else). Also, their empanadas are renown and we love their chimichurri sauce. I highly recommend them. We also tried the daily pasta which was good. For mains, we really went for it with the 16 oz Ribeye, quite a large serving that we didn't finish and took home with us (see picture). The steak was pretty straight up - just a well-cooked delicious piece of meat. I had heard people rave about the veal chop so I decided to try it and was happy I did; also a rather large piece of meat (bone-in) with melted cheese and a light sauce - probably one of the best veal chops I've had (which we also took home with us). Nicholson Muir does great sides - we got the creamed spinach which was not overly creamy and the truffle fries, thin-style with a nice crunch. For dessert, the bread pudding (with a birthday candle) was very good - the ice cream portion was gone in split seconds. Excellent service with our main server and other servers attending to us making sure everything was great and delicious.

Small spot very tastefully appointed. Great food, great Service…read more Our group had empanadas, veal chop, salmon ceasar, & gnocgi. High marks from all of us.

It used to be a French restaurant for about 20 years and then kept changing hands with different types of cuisine. I am really hoping that is one of those restaurants that will make it. Our dinner experience here tonight was extremely pleasant. This is a huge restaurant with three rooms and a bar. There's a choice of about seven entrées and several salads and appetizers. We were a party of three and decided to try Pomona because we've never eaten there before. To start out with, I have got to give a shout out to our waiter Liam. I'm a senior citizen and I've eaten all over the world in many restaurants of every size and reputation, but I have never had a waiter as good as Liam. Even in Michelin five star restaurants in Europe . He was extremely pleasant, courteous, personable and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience. Let's face it. The food can be extraordinary, but if the weight staff sucks, then the experience is horrible. On the other hand of food could be mediocre, but if the service is outstanding, then you might overlook the mediocrity . It was the little things our waiter did like in between the appetizers and the salads and the main meal he came and gave us new napkins and changed all of our silverware. I have not even seen this in five star restaurants. He checked up on us frequently, which is something that waiters rarely do in any restaurant nowadays -- they usually take your order and that's the last you'll see of them until it's time for the check. But Liam checked on us frequently and make sure we had water and whatever we needed. Both my husband and I ordered the herb encrusted grouper. It was literally melt in your mouth grouper with some type of sauce that was made in heaven. The presentation was over orzo. I also had a Caesar salad. The third member of our party had the vodka penne. She loves Italian food and she said it was delicious. The portions were so huge that we had to take some home. Everyone in our party also had a Moscow Mule. For the quality of the food and the service this place was very reasonable --a party of three with cocktails, dinner, appetizers, and salad came to $155 before tax and tip. We will definitely return. And here is hoping that Pomona will last because we need a restaurant like this in downtown Lake Worth.
