I came here for Mother's Day and the food was disappointing but the experience was nice. First the place was great they had live music and the staff was very attentive. The food, is one of the most important if not the most important part of a meal was not good. I came and it was five of us total and the food was lacking flavor. I know they were busy and sometimes there are mistakes or the flavor is off but it had no flavor at all. I am not sure if something was wrong with the chef but the food didn't taste like anything. I am not sure if I would come back but maybe like I said we all have off days so let's see.

We went for lunch for the first time. We ordered the whole fried fish and the Argentinian churrasco. We got tostónes and salad with both. Both were very tasty and delicious. The churrasco was perfectly cooked and juicy and flavorful, even without the chimichurri. The fish was very crispy and fresh. We will be back with the kids!

Came here on a Friday night. We were a party of 4, but we were still waiting on 2 people to arrive. They sat 2 of us immediately, but we waited about 20-25 minutes for anyone to come by and see if we wanted to order any appetizers/drinks. When the waiter finally came over, he said he just needed a few more minutes and would be with us shortly. The 2 other guests in our party arrived, and that's when the waiter came over to take our order. As we started giving him our appetizer order, we noticed he wasn't writing anything down. We knew our order would be incorrect; and it was. We ordered 1 chicken empanada, 1 beef empanada, and tostones. When they brought them to the table, we noticed there were 2 beef empanada, no chicken. Taste was bland, definitely missing something. Tostones were DELICIOUS. We ordered 2 diet cokes and a regular coke. I do like that they bring out the entire can of Diet Coke and the glass bottle of regular coke. It isn't fountain soda! Entree order: three of us ordered steaks, and one of us ordered the frijolada. The frijolada was good. I ordered my steak medium and that was a BIG mistake. It was SO red and the taste was terrible. Also very thin and flimsy. The two other steaks were ordered well done and those tasted better, but still very very thin. Dessert: we all ordered the tres leches, and oh my goodness! SOO GOOD!!! Presentation was gorgeous and flavor was great!! Cost: a bit on the pricey side, our bill was $240 for 4 people. The menu items are $1-$2 cheaper if you pay the bill with cash. There is a bakery on one side of the place where you can purchase misc items such as bread! This was cute! Overall, my party had mixed reviews on the food, so this is definitely a spot you should try at least once to make a determination. I'd definitely give it another try and order something else!

I'll give 3 stars this time... Greeted & seated upon arrival. Very friendly staff. Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. The food came out quicker than expected & was delicious. The reason why I changed my rating from my previous visit is because #1 I asked for sugar on the rim of my margarita & it was repeated back to me twice & I received SALT on the rim. #2 we were expecting the "smokey" effect of the smoked old fashioned & received no smoke & half a glass for $20 for that particular drink! And that price was not stated on the menu. When ordering drinks at this restaurant be mindful of the price change .

Been going there once a week for a couple of months now. I noticed every time I been there the food was not consistent even though I order the same thing all the time. The staff change from week to week. I don't see the same employees each time I go they change. This last time I noticed that the menu is different and limited. Most of the Colombian dishes disappeared which led me to believe they changed ownership. Gratuity is included in your check and they charge a different price when paying with card but they display the card price bigger and bolder to trick you into thinking that's what you pay even if it's with cash. I believe the quality went down and it is no longer a Colombian restaurant. It's more a South American mix. The signature plate for Colombians is the "Bandeja Paisa" which they didn't have on their new menu. Very strange

Service is racist, food is terrible and the prices are too high. This Quac was given to me like this and I took only 2 bites bd got sick.... worst restaurant in the Hudson valley hands down ‼ and she gave me pan de Bono that was old and hard... I spent $50. To be discriminated against and to get sick. Would not waste my money here. Go to taco bell

Second time here after 5 yrs. Today, Food was warm. Chicken was drowned in white sauce. I was basically afraid to finish the chicken. Salteado was dry. Empanadas were stale. Drink was beautifully presented but it was pure alcohol. Could not drink this at all! Very disappointed with their service over all. Don't think I would go back to this location.

Went with friends recently. One of them has a Colombian mother and I remember her cooking. Everyday meals were small feasts. Forget about a special occasion! This place replicates those meals and captures the pleasant memories we had. The plates have enough food for two hungry young men. Although we're not young any more. =) Service is always great, the ambiance is welcoming. Expect a lot of noise if a soccer game is on the TV. The crowd can get boisterous, but not rowdy. It's also the kind of place where an extended family can come and enjoy a long lunch or dinner; and not feel out of place. There's a couple of more private tables if you're on a date or it's just the two of you.

I was very happy with the service and the food. The place is very nice, it has a bakery located inside as well. The Argentinian steak was good, the tostones were great and the tres leches was excellent! My friends got other dishes that were amazing as well. I would've gave 5 stars but they are a bit pricey. I would go back but not as often as I'd like because I can't afford it.

Churrasco , Chicharron

Fue un gusto , bien amable . muy rica la comida . la sirvienta mayra fue muy agradable.

I went here with my friend and work colleague for dinner on a Saturday night. We ordered their specialty drinks, and were blown away by the presentation and taste. We proceeded with ordering a bunch of appetizers and small plates to make our meal out of it. We got arepas, tostones, empanadas and guacamole. Everything was delicious! I took one star off for the level of music volume! They had a live singer, who did a great job and we enjoyed the authentic music. BUT it was so loud, we couldn't hear each other all night, as we tried to catch up and have a conversation. It was impossible. I will come back, but NOT on a Friday or Saturday night.

They also see to it that we get what we want and took their time to explain everything! The food is good and drinks are fantastic, hopefully they lessen the ice. But so far it has been always a great experience eating here. :) Only thing is their bathroom can improve when it comes to cleanliness. Other than that we will be back!

Over the years, I've noticed that both the food quality and service have been inconsistent. There have been visits where I left very satisfied with both the staff and the food. However, there have also been occasions when unexpected charges appeared on the final bill, which was disappointing. On this most recent visit, the food was good overall, I'd describe it as average and fair for the price. The restaurant was busy, though not completely full, since they were showing the Brazil vs. Norway soccer match. They definitely have the setup and atmosphere for soccer fans, especially with the World Cup excitement. One downside involved our drinks. We ordered a Passion Fruit Margarita and a Passion Fruit Caipirinha. Since they looked almost identical, we weren't sure which was which when they arrived. The drinks were dropped off by the manager, not our waitress, and he walked away immediately. When we called him back to ask which drink was which, he replied in a slightly ironic tone, "Which one do you think it is?" We explained that was exactly why we were asking as we could not identify. He then said one had sugar on the rim and the other had salt. Unless you're a bartender or taste each drink, that's not immediately obvious. It wasn't a major issue, but I was surprised by the response. A simple, courteous answer would have been appreciated. There was another interaction that left a similar impression. We asked our waitress approximately how long the food would take because we were considering ordering an appetizer if the wait was long. Her response was simply, "I don't know, and I can't tell you how long." While I understand exact times aren't always possible, a more helpful response would have gone a long way. I would have gladly given this place one more star if those service interactions hadn't happened. The food was decent, but the customer service made the experience less enjoyable. I'm not sure whether I'll choose this location again, especially considering it isn't an inexpensive restaurant. I hope they can improve the level of hospitality because the food and for this World Cup season the soccer atmosphere certainly have potential.

Just got in town...wandering around for a lunch spot and saw Columbia House...quickly checked…read more"Yelp" of course...and based on reviews it was a go. Besides almost every table full at 1:15 lunch...including the back room and it is a large restaurant. We were seated without a wait. Took longer to navigate the huge menu. Hubby and I just wanted a light lunch. He ordered the chicken wings and I ordered the "fish" sandwich w/o cheese. Unfortunately, I was served the chicken sandwich not the requested fish sandwich. It still came with avacado, onions, tomato and lettuce. (No cheese as requested). Once I took a bite I realized I had the wrong sandwich. I was disappointed. Waiter apologized and offered to switch it up...I can see he felt bad and we were not quite sure where we both messed up...could have been me? Him? Not a big deal...I just kept it and enjoyed. Chicken was slighty dry (cheese would have fixed the dryness) but seasoned perfectly. It was a large sandwich with two layers of thin grilled chicken. I would split it next time. I like the way it was served...wrapped in a paper. I requested un-seasoned fries and my request was honored. It was all a generous portion. The restaurant is high energy, food around us all looked delicious and fresh, cocktails looked really good...I wanted to taste the cappuccino martini next to us...tempting to order one. Service was timely, friendly and efficient. Noise level a tad high however it was easy enough to carry on a conversation. Overall, I understand the reason this place was so busy...definately a solid fun place...wish it were on my neighborhood as I enjoy exploring different dishes. Thumbs up for sure.

Fun, authentic and mostly delicious Colombian food. Bakery too! :)…read more Very friendly service. Large, very comfortable room. I wish they had fresh juices (not just fake OJ called "fresh") that's the only part that does not feel truly Colombian.

Horrible. Very inconsistent…read more Today was my 5th meal here and it will be my LAST. Today they had what they called chorizo, which was indeed in a sausage-like casing but instead of meat inside it was just leftover rice bound with pork fat. It was DISGUSTING....and completely unlike any chorizo I've ever had. I've had Peruvian, Ecuadorian, Colombian, Guatemalan and even Americanized versions -- but this was nothing like any of them....it was CRAP! I can't tell which culture they are supposed to be for certainty, but I doubt any culture would claim a food article that sickened all 4 people who tasted it, one only making it across the street before tossing cookies.... In the past they had empinadas which were usually VERY thin and lacking in terms of the filling (usually Queso)...however today they were out of them by 9:10 AM, with no plans to make more. The miscellaneous hot beverages on the counter opposite the cashier are nice, but I have no clue what they are and they certainly are not labeled.... Their selection of factory made (canned/bottled drinks in the fridge is good including Manzana and several other Latin drinks. In the past I've had good and bad experiences, but today was just so horrible they deserve to be put on blast... The inconsistency even goes so far as to be in the pricing! The green plantains served as a side on my plate with the "Chorizo" apparently added $3 to the cost of my plate, which were included every time before.... And now to add to the survey questions below: Ambiance - what ambiance? The place has a TV which is usually BLASTING-ly loud! It has rows of cafeteria style tables for seating -- and when the food wasn't nasty and the prices higher for no apparent reason -- it was good, but when it was bad it was pretty bad - this time was just ATROCIOUS!

Had a delicious plate of food and drink here after a solid hike. Nice option for anyone looking for…read moregood food with value for money.
