Local beer such as Angel City, IPA and Golden Road Blonde as well as many liquors and wine. The food was good. The burger and salads were tasty and the portion size generous. The guac was fresh as well as the chips. The cornbread was good but had a layer of melted cheese that just didn't need to be there and served with a side of citrus marmalade. Came for a semi private party on a Tuesday night from 4pm to 6pm. The service team were super nice and quick to clean up anytime we had finished a plate. There were a few bites to eat including a mini shrimp roll that had shrimp, rice paper wrap, thinly sliced carrots and some other vegetables. There were mixed reviews about it. Some sort of sauce to accompany it would have made it better because the rice paper it was wrapped in was a bit dry. The most common rating me and my group of 20 gave it was about a 7 out of 10. There was also mini chicken empanadas. It paired well with their green sauce. The chicken was moist. Black bean rolled tacos which were meh. It was dried out a bit. There was also butternut squash bruschetta which were average. They topped it with something. It wasn't cream cheese I don't think, but certainly tasted similar to it that really brought it together. Stopped by the Blitzens Pop-Up Holiday Bar at Noe restaurant which is located in the Omni Hotel and had such a great experience. Parking was street parking on Grand Avenue, which was pretty easy to find, and if you can't find street parking there are nearby garages, so no stress there. The staff was amazing--super friendly, welcoming, and fast, which really made the visit even better. The holiday setup was festive and cozy without feeling overwhelming. We tried the Dubai hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, and both were delicious and perfect for the season. The restaurant had an eclectic vibe. The lighting was low, not the best for a solo dinner (unless you are busy writing Yelp reviews!). I don't remember hearing ambient music, and the voices of fellow diners were rather loud, as if the whole restaurant was a bar. I ordered a cobb salad with steak. It tasted good, but uninspired with respect to presentation. The steak was proper seasoned and cooked to medium-well, although I don't remember being asked how I wanted the steak prepared. The salad vegetables were not crisp, but you can expect a crispy salad when I has brussel sprouts! It was 7:30 when I dragged myself away from the bar at Gourmet Wine & Spirits and I was under the impression that Noe quit serving at 8:00. (I may have been confused by the curfew). I've been to Noe for business lunches and I've also flown solo. My experience has been consistent across the board. There's plenty of seating inside and on the patio. You can just as easily get a reservation as you can just walk-in - the times I've been here during the day, it's never been full (I'd imagine it's different at night). Only slight downside is that there isn't always someone at the front, so sometimes it takes a minute to get seen. The hours on Yelp need some updating so here's some stats: Mon-Fri breakfast is served from 6:30AM-10:30AM, Sat-Sun breakfast is served from 7AM-10AM. Mon-Sat lunch is served from 11AM-2PM, Sunday brunch is served from 10AM-2:30PM (last seating is at 2PM). Happy Hour is daily from 3PM-6PM, and dinner is served daily from 5PM-10PM. Noe is on the pricier side, but it shouldn't come as a shock as it's DTLA. The burgers, sandwiches and salads are all good as is the lemonade. It's a clean area both inside and outside with nice views of the surrounding buildings. It's a solid choice if you're on lunch break or if you're having a special occasion like date night. Service is efficient and friendly. 20% service charge is automatically applied to parties of 6+. read more

Was in town for a few days and found this place by walking around looking for food. It sits inside the Omni Hotel, but signage can be seen from the street. Service was prompt and attentive. Great ambience for a hotel restaurant, nice decor and pleasantly quiet away from the bar. I enjoyed the salmon dish and was pleasantly surprised with the grest flavor of the Brussel sprouts. Try the outdoor tables, perhaps the only spot with any kind of ambience here. Staff was kind, but didn't really follow directions, serving up a dry, small overcooked steak when I asked for rare. Close to LA's Disney concert hall, perhaps its only distinction. I am not likely to return. read more

There is nothing "over the top" (read their description in the photo) here. The clientele: a perfect theme of "all work and no play makes Omni a dull hotel." The customer service was DREADFUL: zero acknowledgement from the Bartender or from server Jazmine. Hostess was hiding in the galley. Just a really poor experience after a fun night exploring DTLA holiday themes. I stayed at the Omni Hotel in LA. The hotel staff is amazing. There's a restaurant in the hotel called Noe. I went to the restaurant and ordered a salad and a glass of wine. Danielle, the bartender, shouldn't be in the restaurant or hospitality business. She wanted to take my salad away before I was done. I told her I was still working on it and I'm thinking, "Why is she rushing me? It's barely half finished." Anyway, after I was done, I put my napkin on the plate, She looked over and she asked if I wanted another glass of wine, I said "yes". Then she asked if I wanted to take the "rest" of my salad to go?! Why would I want it to go? It's obvious that I am finished now. I asked her for my check and I asked her if I could bring my glass of wine to my hotel room. She said, "Yes!" The restaurant is to provide hotel guest with a 10% discount for staying at the hotel. I assume she was going to give me that discount because I clearly told her I am bringing the wine to my room. She runs my credit card, I sign the slip. When I returned to my room, I looked at the receipt and she DID NOT give me the 10% discount. I shouldn't have to remind her to give me a discount. She is not a new "bartender" to the restaurant and she knows the relationship between the restaurant and hotel. She deliberately didn't give me the discount. And that's SO bullshit. Came for 5pm dinner with two friends after a play at the Music Center. Two of us had the wild salmon ($42) which was delicious! My other friend had the seared ribeye ($46) which tasted good, but was full of gristle and tough to eat especially the last 1/4 of the steak. The manager was called over and comped her steak. The bread was light, warm and delicious! We commented that the bread ($5) was the best part of our meal. Be sure to ask about extra charges. We were asked Perrier or still for the water. We said still not thinking we'd be charged. A bottle was brought over, then a second was brought over without us asking. We were shocked to find an $8 charge for each bottled water on our bill. When we balked, our server took the charges off. I was disappointed with the 3rd floor patio view of the city which was only a view of several high rises (see pic). We were told by our hostess that the outdoor heaters didn't work well outside, so we sat inside by a window with a view of the patio. 3 hrs of free parking with validation can be found next door of the hotel or $20 valet parking at the entrance, but luckily we found street parking across the street. With so many places to try in Los Angeles, I'd rather spend my hard-earned money elsewhere. read more

This review is based on a private event in their patio, but I have to say that I've never experienced such high quality food AND such diverse food options in one place. There was a pasta station, prime rib carver, and one of the tastiest sushi spreads I've ever seen. Service was on point from the bartenders to the people bussing tables. Location was great as even in late April, the shade provided by the nearby sky scrapers was appreciated in the evening. Definitely a 5 star experience. read more

I got the steak with fries and the steak was the best I had ever eaten in my entire life also at a reasonable price, (I believe it was around $48 and I could not even finish it the cut was huge!). This restaurant is at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, so if you aren't doing valet, I have no idea where you would park... The event was on the patio (which is actually where we ate last time too) which is nice and has a great view. 5/5: Sesame Tuna Sashimi - The tuna was on top of a vegetable noodle salad with pickled ginger and ponzi. The sesame oil was prevalent and the dish was my favorite! 5/5: Caesar Salad - with shaved parmesan, tomatoes, homemade croutons and a cheese crisp. Delicious. 4/5: Spiced Old Fashion - Woodford Reserve Rye, orange and cardamom bitters and star anise. 4/5: Mushroom Flatbread - a generous amount of various mushrooms 4/5: Impossible Burger - We've been avoiding vegan burgers like the plague, but it was okay! With avocado, onion jam, vegan cheese, tomato and aioli. You don't get that great beef flavor that you expect in a burger, but it'snot replaced with a different or weird flavor. We had theater and had informed our server about our timing, but things still took a while. Luckily we had built in extra time so we weren't too rushed. The bramble on is a great cocktail and tasted like juice if you like your drinks sweet. I've gotten the burger twice now and enjoyed it--it comes with a million fries that are good for sharing. Came here a few weeks ago and to be honest it was just ok. First of all it was confusing on how to get here and where to park and once you park where o walk to. We had to call the host stand to tell us how to get there from some sort of promenade. Inside is interesting. It's the hotel bar and then the restaurant instead is some industrial minimalistic concrete space with banquets style furniture. Service was great and the people who worked there friendly and attentive. Food was just ok. Cuts of meat were average. Had the filet and the ribeye. Nothing extraordinary. Prices are on par with DTLA. Cocktails were tasty and the prices again were average. All in probably won't be back. There are plenty of options in DTLA with slightly better atmosphere and ambiance. read more

I felt the price was quite reasonable and the selection for each course was very good. We had the seafood bouillabaisse, Turkey, and prime rib. All made well with large portions and we took home enough for the next day. Elegant dining room with views to downtown skyscrapers; quite nice with the urban vibe at night. Parking in downtown LA is super expensive so valet park is a good idea. The menu and price tag that I saw online made me think I was heading into a world class establishment and instead what I got was a boring American fare restaurant on the 3rd floor of a hotel with an experience you can get at any brewery restaurant. The pan seared steak was fine but didn't live up to the 44 dollar price point. The chicken on the other hand was dry and tasted like the chicken pot pie you buy in the frozen food section. Which was surrounded by a watery peanut sauce. The only reason I am writing this review is the desert. I got the chocolate mouse and my friend got the cheesecake. Our waitress came, brought us water, then we literally didn't see her ever again for the rest of the night. She literally disappeared. Luckily, someone else came to the rescue once we flagged them down after waiting nearly 20 minutes to order our food and drinks. The waiter was excellent, by the way. However, that does not negate the fact that their customer service from the jump was the absolute pits. I will not be returning. Oh, and the wine selection was weak. I considered myself a regular after discovering this bar and patronizing it more and more frequently over the last few months. But I was disappointed that recently (3/1) they messed up their hospitality by 1) my friend calling for general info and their keeping her on hold for over ten minutes and 2) by making a reservation over two weeks in advance and asking for a specific table but not getting the table. I even mentioned it in person when I was there the week before to BOTH hostesses, who told me they would make sure the table was reserved. My friend was offered courtesy appetizers for her poor experience, but I was offered nothing. I am careful about where to spend my hard-earned dollars. The first time I went I brought two people. The last time I went I brought three. I wonder what their customer acquisition cost is--I'm sure I lowered it. I want to go to places where I'm shown I'm a valued customer. When I explained to the manager, Augustin, my issue, he said his hands were tied. Really? You lost four customers over a bowl of Brussels sprouts? That's solid business sense--NOT. And, by the way, although they refer to 3:00 to 6:00 as their happy hour, the prices are higher than what you'd pay at any other happy hour in the city of Angels--$16 for weak, sugary drinks and $16 for apps. I went off menu and asked for a Manhattan and it was $20.00. Since this is a hotel bar, they probably care more about travelers than locals--it shows. So, no longer my go-to place and I'll make sure the hundreds of members in my social group understand where they're valued. read more

We arrived a few weeks back on a Sunday evening just prior to the sun setting and requested outdoor seating. After approximately 2-3 minutes, we were escorted to a table and could still hear the piano playing from the inside seating area. As the night wore off, the view became even more pleasant with the night light of the DTLA skyscrapers on the backdrop. Husband and I opted for lobster ceviche as the appetizer. He selected filet mignon with blackberry sauce on a bed of asparagus and he paired his entre with Cabernet. I on the other hand, drooled over the thought of the Sockeye salmon and elected to pair it with Sauvignong Blanc. In addition, we requested a side of roasted garlic potatoes. Since that visit, I have been obsessed with attempting to replicate the taste of the potatoes. All was deliciously wrapped by sharing a dessert. The location is dear to my heart as I have built so many wonderful memories over the years visiting the California Plaza during the Summer Concert series. Definitely a great place to take a stroll after having dinner at Noe makes for a very romantic evening. To add icing on the cake, the service we received was outstanding and this alone makes me want to return for more. Tips: For those wondering, street parking is limited. The chef's special was wild duck dumplings with shredded veggies in a ginger broth. very unique compared to the already pretty eclectic menu. we started out splitting the grilled octopus & chorizo. Plus, the beet & arugula salad with goat cheese. Amazing! Then we split the chef's special & went straight to the main courses of crispy bass and salmon. There was a live jazz pianist as we walked in that could be heard while not being too loud while we sat in the dining area. Service was very relaxed and comfortable. Did not expect this kind of stellar cuisine from a hotel in downtown. Excited to come back and try the new menu in August. read more
