We go to them to get our oil changes and I never get over how friendly and on top of it they are! They clean the car well and it's my favorite thing is to get a clean car back. It's a bit pricey and we think it's worth it for the services they provide. read more

We have a house in the neighborhood and took our car there for an oil change as we have done before. This time they said the brakes needed to be replaced very soon. I read here that Noe Auto may try to preform un-necessary work so we declined that service. A few months goes by and we took our car to the dealer for a non-related service and what a surprise, the brakes are fine. My advice, beware. Oil changes are probably ok but get a second opinion if they suggest another service is needed. read more

If you have a Tesla, you know what a pain in the ass these cars are with their tires, flats and repairs. This is the first time where I felt like I was not taken advantage of having a Tesla and actually the tire could be repaired versus needing to buy an entire new one. The only thing to ding these guys on was that they were swamped- but that speaks to my great experience. I came in on a recommendation to get a tire replaced. They discovered when I brought it in that another tire had a nail in it. They called and let me know and I said "go ahead" (because why wouldn't you get a nail fixed? They finished the job and even cleaned the car! One thing that was also amazing was when I got stuck with work stuff down on the peninsula, they were okay with the car hanging out overnight because I couldn't get back by close. I remembered hearing good things about this place when a kind bystander told me I had a flat tire when I was driving on Church street near 24th. So I turned on 24th and found my way there. Fred welcomed me warmly, said he would deal with the tire, and sent me on my way. He called me about an hour later with a decision for me to make, then about two hours after that to say my car was ready. Not only did he replace the dead tire, he also had the car washed and vacuumed, and checked and topped off the other tires and all the fluids. Fabulous service, and reasonably priced. read more

Friendly local professionals who you can really trust! And great prices on tires! I've been bringing my cars (VW, Volvo, Audi) here for at least 15 years and I've only had great experiences. Fred and Sabrina who run the place are delightful and easy to work with and really know what they are doing. They've done everything from tires to some major work, and it's all gone smoothly. I would choose them over a dealer any day. I've never once felt that anyone was misleading me into spending extra, which is often a worry for people when it comes to car maintenance. In fact the opposite is true: they will let you know when you can put something off and they will justify when you have to act immediately. Finally, they *always* clean your care inside and out, even after replacing a single tire, which I must say is a nice touch. read more

They take the time to explain everything about how your car works and they give you straight answers about what's needed - no pushy attitudes, no upsells. The car always runs great after leaving the shop and comes back cleaner than it went in. I honestly sometimes worry that they are too affordable. (Seriously, do you guys need to raise prices to keep this up? I want to keep you in business!!) OMG - I LOVE this place. Sabrina and Fred are so helpful and honest. I help an elderly friend by bringing her car in - first for tires and now to fix the a/c. They squeezed us in, gave us options for service (and cost) and recommended that we just do the smaller repair and same money since she only drives to the grocery store once a week. Been coming here for many years now, and they've always been really honest with great pricing and service. Just had a single tire repaired, and got the car back with a fixed tire, car washed on the inside and outside, and some other maintenance, for probably less than a car wash would have cost. Called ahead of time and asked them if they can fix sun roofs electrical issue (most likely fuse replacement) and replace rear passenger window motor (I had the OEM part). They said "sure we can do that and we'll take a look at the sun roof electrical issue. Bring in your car." Brought in my car and they called me to say, "we don't do sunroofs and yes your rear passenger window needs a new motor. $160 please." What the F did I bring in my car for? They said $160 was just for inspection... to look at it and tell me what I already knew. So I paid $160 for half assed vacuum job inside my car and someone squirted the exterior with a hose. I really wanted to like this place. It was recommended by a neighbor, and it's only a few blocks away, so it negates the usual issue of having to Uber or get a ride halfway across the City. First time in was just a oil change/checkup and alignment, and it was almost $500. Seemed really high, but I haven't been in an auto shop for a couple of years and it was convenient, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. A couple of months later, my driver side window wouldn't go down. I went in fearing it was the motor, but it was only a switch, but they quoted me a price of $750, most of which they claimed was the cost of the part. Since I know used parts can be had for a fraction of new, my car is almost 8 years old and I've never had this problem in 40 years of driving, I wasn't worried that my car would outlive a used part. After some back and forth with Fred, who said he couldn't guaranty a used part and me telling him that didn't worry me, then him telling me he wouldn't do it anyway, he said he could give me the name of someone who'd put in a used part for me. I was really grateful, figuring I could save at least half the quoted price, which I could really use. But Sabrina was scowling at him, and I guess he reconsidered, as he never sent the info. I went back in a couple of weeks later, and he said he needed my details again, which I gave him, and once again, never heard back, even to say that they wouldn't be doing what he'd promised. Pretty ridiculous he wouldn't do this with a used part when I told him I didn't need a guaranty, even worse on reneging on what he told me. I won't return, and I'd have a hard time counseling others to do otherwise. read more

I hate that I have to write this review, but here goes, a public service for people out there: I live right down the street, so I wanted to try this place and had my car checked out. Lo and behold, they said I needed to replace my worn out Engine/Transmission mounts for $1500. They also told me I needed to replace my leaking Radiator and hoses for $1300. This was a lot of $, and since I didn't know them that well, I thought I should take it to my old place (very reputable), to get a 2nd opinion. I just got back from there, they said the radiator and the engine/transmission mounts were fine. They showed me photos, and re-explained it all to me because I couldn't believe it. They reassured me, all was good. Do yourself a favor, and read the bad reviews before you go here. Apparently, I'm not the only one out there who has had this experience. read more
