I'm only giving two stars because the employees were nice. But this is literally the worst pedicure I've gotten in my life. My mother-In-law spoke very highly of this place and I saw the good ratings on Yelp. Let's just cut to the chase. I could do my own feet better than this place. I felt like my feet weren't even cleaned. My heels are still rough. The leg massage was barely even a rub. And don't even get me started on the paint job. My 4 year old daughter could paint better. Beautiful space very clean and not cramped. Great music selection. Only one tv that I could see so it was very relaxing. The chairs weren't my favorite, but still overall comfortable. Also loved the touches of the curtains between chairs for added privacy. My tech was super quiet and checked in when needed. Also they gave me a birthday discount! Never in my life had gel nail polish peel, literally in chunks 2 hours after I left. They didn't keep my nails under the light long enough and/or expired polish. Also my daughter's nails were shorter than she told them she wanted. Never again. Also it was hot in the salon. The only reason why we went here was because our original nail salon was full. 3 stars because they were able to accommodate 6 of us. If it weren't for their being "nice" it would have been less. Whatever you do, don't ask them to cut the cuticles on your nails that they missed altogether. I don't think they like having to do what they missed. I guess I have been spoiled previously. Just moved here from New England and used to go to a fancy nail salon. Noire, while busy did get me in right away. I did make an appointment but arrived early and got started early. The salon has a smaller room in the front for manicures and a larger area in the back for pedicures. After selecting my color, I waited for my previous dip to come off via soaking. The nail technician was very nice and talkative, which was nice. She spoke English and was easy to communicate with. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because it cost $55 for a dip mani. I've never paid that much?! The rate Maybe that's the going rate down here but seems a little high. The tech also clipped my cuticles in a few spots so now I have some cuts and was bleeding. It's been 5 days and my mani still looks good but I felt she rushed a little and there was no extra steps to the manicure part of the treatment except for cuticle oil and a quick hand massage at the end. I'm not sure I will go back here as there are other options in town. read more

The customer service was wonderful. Probably the best place I've gone regarding that. The man who had worked on my nails was very gentle when handling my hands and was extremely polite. My issue is this places designs weren't good. I wish I was just warned it wasn't something that they could do. The nail shape was also very wrong. But when one of my nails was crooked I asked for them to fix it and they did. Lastly the mail just feel cheaper than usual. I've never had an acrylic nail break in half as easily as these did. I'm not rough at all with my hands so I was very surprised they broke so easily/quickly. If you're going for an easy shape and just color without designs the nails do look great. Lastly the first time I went I got regular polish and it lasted less than 3 days. Again not rough with my hands. Giving 4 star because the customer service was just that good. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The deluxe pedicure was fine- unremarkable at best for $43. But what is a no go for me coming back is the dip nails I had done. Ya know the gum chiclets? That's what I've got for nails now. Far too many layers of powder without any shaping. And there is still paint and powder left in my fingers even after bringing it to the attention of my nail tech. And for $60+ I would have at least expected there to be some resolve other than "it'll come off". read more

My moms pedicure with Riyana was amazing. My pedicure with Jenny was over in less than 10 minutes. Never touched a file to my nails, barley touched my heels with the pumice stone and rubbed almost no lotion into my heels. The paint job was mediocre. We were side by side and it couldn't have been more obvious how quickly my pedicure was over and my mom was still enjoying a massage with the lotion. This was my birthday present and made that known to Jenny, not that I expected special treatment, but at least a good pedicure. read more

I might still be in search of "my nail spot". I visited Noire and I have had a hard time committing to writing this review because the people were just the best. They are really funny and super friendly and they probably do good work most of the time, and they want to be "my nail spot" but, I haven't returned yet and it has been a few months. I got a full set of white tips. Three of my nails weren't sized correctly so they didn't fit the entire nail, and I had a lot of cleanup to do when I got home that included prying some of my skin off of a couple of the nails and getting glue off of both my nails and my fingertips. I also did feel rushed as they squeezed in my appointment at the very end of a day (I called few days ahead) and I had three different technicians each work on a different phase of putting on my set so each one was trying to work off the work of the other. I think I would still come back but I would have to make sure to get an appointment sometime in the middle of the day where I can be sure I would work with only one tech so they could stick with their own flow and process, you know? I only had three different techs because one would do a part and then go work on what they needed to do for closing while someone else would take over the next part. Like I said, the people at Noire are really great. I think I just had an unfortunate experience but in the grand scheme of unfortunate experiences, I would at least give Noire a second shot. I haven't given any other unfortunate experiences a second shot. I recommend checking this one out, they get rave reviews from absolutely everyone else, and they make you feel like you are one of their friends they've known for years. Just wonderful humans and totally the reason I will probably second chance this one. read more

1st time here today. Easy to book online via FB. Henry was a really sweet man. I came here from Nashville after a salon in Clarksville completely messed up my nails. Henry was able to get me right and I left with a giant smile on my face. The place is clean, friendly staff, prompt service, plenty of color choices. I let him have free reign on design idea and he did perfect. Due to Covid-19 they have in place certain rules and I love it. Other salons do not have these steps in place and I'm thankful they are taking the precautions. I even seen them offer and give a mask to a customer who didn't have one. So yes, overall a very good experience. I will update in two weeks when I go back for my next appointment and a possible pedicure. read more

This was my second visit here and was very nervous because I hadn't had a pedicure in over a year due to having surgery on both of my feet. I explained to Sam, the gentleman who did my pedicure, that I was nervous and I did not want any type of scrubbing at all. He was very nice about it and I didn't have to tell him twice. He acknowledged what I said and I really appreciated that. My pedicure came out wonderful! This was also my first time getting acrylic nails. I also let Kelly, the nail tech, know this was my first time and I was nervous lol(nervous nellie over here). She walked me through applying the nails and made sure I was happy with the end result. I don't even think this place deserves a one star. Three of us booked one being my driver, and all three of us had the worst service. My driver was offered wine or water as she got a gel pedicure, my friend and I were offered nothing nor spoken to. The receptionist made all of us feel so uncomfortable. The place was very dirty, we saw nobody wipe down the chairs or pedi bowls after being used and when we had gotten up from finishing our pedicures there were ants crawling underneath where the towel by your feet are. Following up on my review posted Jan, '17. I received an apology for the lack of cleanliness on the date of my service. Noir Nail Bar Promised to be more diligent in their cleaning habits. I mentioned in the review that if my services (gel mani & regular Pedi) held up that I would love to try again. Well... I honestly have to say that the Gel Manicure w/white tips held out beautifully, one of the best I've ever had. Today, over a month later my nails are perfectly clear, no yellowing, and the white tips are perfect!! If it weren't for growth I wouldn't need to go in. I'm going back to Noir Nail Bar in Hendersonville,Tn tomorrow for my birthday and am hoping to find the place clean and shiny. Just as it should be!! I will follow-up after my next visit!! read more

I've been to Noire the Nail Bar twice now, both times for a gel manicure, and the manicures have been perfect and long-lasting! I had different technicians each time, and both were skilled. I had very cleanly trimmed cuticles! I hate when cuticles aren't well cared for during the manicure and grow out ragged the next few days. This didn't happen with my manicures from Noire. They also paint the front edge of the nail, which shows their technicians know how to do a long-lasting manicure well! The technicians have sure hands and pay such good attention to detail. Even though I'm a picky customer, I felt comfortable, because they clearly knew what they were doing. They also gave good advice about cuticle care and which brand of gel polish lasts the longest. Also, the salon is always playing great pop music and showing Netflix or HGTV. I go when I work occasionally in Hendersonville, but Noire the Nail Bar is even worth the drive from Nashville! read more

Worst manicure I have ever recieved. I was part of a bridal group, and I have a feeling my tech was speeding through to finish with the others. However, she did nothing to my cuticles or nail shape. When I left, there was product ALL OVER my fingers that I am still trying to peel off. On top of all that, I didn't even get the color I chose. Yesterday was our (my wife and I) first time here and it was a spur of the moment decision. She wanted a gel manicure and saw this place so we stopped. First impression wasn't that bad. We only had to wait a few minutes. The front part of the store was for manicures with a curtained doorway leading to the pedicure area. The nail artists were welcoming and friendly. When I sat down at the tablet, she asked if I wanted a drink and I got a small bottle of cold water which was nice. She started with hot towel wrapped around each hand for a few minutes while she got the gel polish I wanted and got everything set up. Next she started trimming my cuticles and that's where I started having problems. She was very rough with the trimming and by the time she was done at least 4 of my fingers were bleeding around the edges. Next she filed the shape, and again I had problems. I usually don't like having my nails done because I find most manicurists to be too rough for me, but this was almost torture to me. She filed the sides back so far into the nail bed, almost halfway down the side, that even over a day later the sides of my nails are sore and it's hurting just to type this. A couple of my nails were filed so roughly she drew blood again. After that was the gel polish process; no real problems there but one weird thing I noticed... It's the the first time I've had gel polish done, and I also have a kit to do my own at home, but this time the UV lamp really burned. I don't know if it was because my fingers were already raw and sore or what... it was really weird. Every time I put my hand under the lamp was an intense burn for a few seconds, to the point where I almost pulled my hand out. After all the polish layers were done, she filed the sides again. I'm not sure why? I don't remember that being done at other gel manicures, but whatever. Finally a short lotion massage and it was time to go. I'm fine with the finished product, minus the bloody edges on my nails! Now, I probably would've given 1 or 2 stars, but my wife had no problems with her manicurist. The guy that worked on her apparently didn't draw blood, or file down so far as to make her fingers sore, or anything! I probably won't come back to this place. I mean, I thought manicures were supposed to be a treat, and this was more like she was torturing me for information. read more
