Well, the service was nice and everyone working there seemed super sweet. That being said- the chicken. Oh lord the chicken. Both the chicken parm and chicken piccata were so tough and dry it was literally hard to chew, let alone swallow. I mean some of the worst quality chicken I've had in a long time. Marinara was decent, not my favorite but not bad. It was odd the piccata was cut into little chunks instead of the typical flattened out chicken breast. Sauce was great! The Angel hair pasta was cooked perfectly on both, garlic bread was good but a little under cooked. Side salads were great. I'd go back to try a pizza, or anything besides chicken. First, I left an honest review of this restaurant on their Facebook page because they asked for reviews from people who visited their new location in Cibolo. Not once, but twice now, they have deleted my comments. I did not bash them, I did not berate them, I gave an honest and fair review of the meal that my husband and I had. To put it nicely, it was awful. And now I know what kind of business they are by deleting reviews. We paid our bill, we tipped our waitress 20+ % and we were kind. If your food is bad then use the review as an opportunity to fix it- not lie and only post good reviews. You specially asked for reviews too, you can't only keep the good ones. A true restauranteur or chef would use it as a learning experience and try to make it right. Sadly, not this place. First, the prices for an Italian restaurant are a bit steep, but most restaurants are having that issue right now so that isn't their fault entirely. Next, we ordered the appetizer sampler, the noli Vite sautéed chicken dish and my husband got their meatball pocket pizza. To start the appetizer sampler was eh. The mozzarella sticks are what you want from a fried cheese. They were crispy and melty. Zero complaints there. The marinara that accompanied the dish was delish, but almost at boiling temperature. No need for it to be that hot, and it actually burned my husband and I. Also on the sampler was friend calamari and fried shrimp. They were both fried into oblivion and completely covered in a red dust- our guess chili powder? They should 100% remove the chili powder as it made the food extremely bitter. The calamari was beyond chewy and basically inedible. The shrimp was ok. The garlic knots that accompanied the meal were good, a bit under cooked but good. The Noli's sautéed chicken dish had many problems. The chicken was definitely batch cooked in an effort to save time and was completely dried out and inedible. It had a grayish brown hue to it like it was a week old. Sautéed chicken should be light and bright, this was not. Also in an effort to save money I am assuming, the chicken looked like half of a chicken breast in the plate. It was cut up in such an unappetizing way that I barely touched it. The capellini was cooked well, no issues there. The sauce had an exorbitant amount of garlic, easily a whole head. I like garlic so I was ok with it but the average person probably wouldn't enjoy that. This dish is a mess and needs an overhaul- especially your chicken. How could you serve inedible chicken in your signature chicken dish? Finally my husband got the pocket pizza. First issue is a pocket pizza is a calzone- not a sandwich. We are from Connecticut and New York- home to World renowned Italian food and a pocket pizza is not a grinder or a sub. My husbands sandwich was so dry he didn't even attempt eating the bread- he had maybe 2 meatballs on the whole sandwich that he chose to eat with a fork to save his mouth. And for $14.99 we have no idea what he paid for. Overall we gave Nolis Vite a 4/10 and will stick to Nonna Osteria and Dough. Truly wish this restaurant had been good, we wanted to support a local neighborhood restaurant but we will never be back. This was a very clean place with helpful and knowledgeable staff that worked together to get our food out quickly and most of the stars go to that! The food however was simply okay. The fresh bread and salad were probably the best items I ate here. I ordered the chicken parm and while it looked amazing it was tough, dry, and soggy. I think if they take just a bit of time to perfect certain recipes this place could be excellent! I definitely would go back to retry again. read more

Ok, I always get my food to go, the service it's always great. I'm always greeted with a smile. The Stromboli is off the charts delicious. However, I always order a side salad with it and for some reason, they 95% of the time, drop the ball on the easiest aspect of the meal. I've had to pick brown and wilted salad out. Or they forget the cheese. The food is great but they need to QC the Togo orders better. Definitely come eat here. You won't be disappointed! read more

This venue is a great value and I really enjoyed my meal. Service is on point, food was prepared faster than expected and the flavour was very good. Everything is seasoned well and prepared perfectly. Chicken and vegetable soup had mushrooms and other vegetables with large chunks of chicken and rich flavour Side Salad - freshly cut lettuce, a slice of tomato, cheese, and dressing. Unremarkable salad, but the delicious ranch dressing elevated it. Veal parmigiana with Angel hair and marinara. Y'all, they must season their pasta water because the pasta was so darn good I got stuck on it and almost forgot the veal. Shrimp Alfredo. Shrimp are large, tail on so be careful, but geez this is really really good. Rich, seasoned, and tender. Atmosphere is nice, it's a large place but separated so each room has a more intimate feel, although I found the main room to be a bit too brightly lit for my comfort. read more

First time here since they opened their Cibolo location. The food was very good. Nicely browned rolls for the table and olive oil for dipping. I ordered the Eggplant dish that included a side of spaghetti. The tomato sauce was notably delicious and the portion was generous. Our waiter spent a little too much time talking about himself and interrupted us a little too frequently throughout the meal, but was very nice and accommodating. I would go back, especially for a big hot dish of Angel hair pasta with that red sauce. However, I would be careful not to engage in conversation with that particular waiter. read more

Hit or miss. Best thing we had was the garlic knots (which are free). Food wasn't fresh as the chicken you could tell was reheated and not fresh from the grill. You expect Italian to be pricey, but this was not a good experience worth the price. read more

Dined here with my fam and some friends on a Saturday night. We made reservations and were seated promptly, host staff was great. Overall as far as service, it was ok. Server was nice and knowledgeable but was pretty busy, we found ourselves needing to stop him for attention at times. As far as food, I was hoping for better. Bruschetta: wasn't toasted, just sliced soft French bread. Artichokes were good but waaaayyy too garlicky and feta was confusing. Needed some acidity too, lemon juice or something. Mussels Marinara: sauce was good, but was hoping for a bit more mussels and in a bowl. I've never had saucy mussels served on a flat plate. Always in a bowl served with toasted bread to dip into the sauce. Carbonara: carbonara is made with fettucini which was confusing to me. Traditional carbonara is made with linguini/spaghetti noodles. I asked for the substitute and they accommodated it which was nice. Flavor was great, except there was a big pool of oil on under the noodles. Very greasy. Eggplant Parmesan: my friend had this and she really enjoyed it. Sausage Arabiata: other friend had this, was way too spicy. And he loves spicy food but this was overwhelming, couldn't enjoy. Cannelloni: tasted stale and way too sweet. Not impressed by the food. Ambiance was nice and the restaurant is nice but I don't think I'll be back. read more

The food is very good. I like the options of the starters...salads, appetizers, bread are great. I like the dish that has 2 entrees in it. The full size plates are big enough to share. Service is good...I've gone several times and the food and service has been consistent. There's plenty of room for big groups....not sure about separate party rooms. read more

This was my first time visiting Nol'sVite, and I must say we had a great experience. The decor is rustic and inviting and there's a nice amount of space in between tables. Our meals were outstanding. We had Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, and Chicken Picatta. All our dishes were perfect. Obviously, our dishes were from scratch, the chicken was cooked, yet moist, which is not always the case at other restaurants. Prices were reasonable, the service was excellent, and the Tiramesu was just right. The restaurant is a bit hidden from the street, so we had to pay attention to where we had to turn. We hope more people will try it out. You won't regret it. PS. Pizza and Calamari were also great! read more

We decided to try this Italian restaurant for lunch and it was very good! It's right off Hwy 78, by Mako's on the Creek so kinda hidden in the back. The service was excellent, everyone was so nice and helpful. I only gave 4 stars because they got my order wrong(I didn't send it back because I RARELY send anything back). What I did get was great! Hubby got the lasagna, and I ordered the linguine with mushrooms but got the linguine with clam sauce. Good thing I like clams because it was loaded with them, I was seriously impressed!! I will definitely eat there again and I look forward to it! read more

I can tell by the decor that was used that this place was probably some type of steakhouse in its past life. I do not remember seeing anything like this in Italy. The food was very good and the sauce was well balanced, and the meatballs had the right amount of mixture of meats and spices, and they were prepared well. I was not very impressed with the salad. As the picture does show, had to pay almost $4 extra for just this little tiny bit. This alone took down the rating a notch. Pricewise, it is higher here than at some Italian restaurants I have been to.
