Carne Asada Tacos and Chicken tacos
    Andrew B.

Food is amazing some of the best tacos in the city. Love the service always very quick and courteous. Able to come in and get my food in 10 minutes or less most of the time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are always playing music usually Spanish rap which I love.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are always families and workers on their lunch inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely strongly recommend to anyone to take you and some friends there and just enjoy an evening. Plus the cost for the quality of food is unbeatable.

YUM! TLDR: - Quick - TASTY - Affordable Service was nice, and the taste was fantastic. If you are looking for an extravagant experience, perhaps not the vibe. If you are looking for a meal that will not destroy your pocket and leave you full, I HIGHLY recommend the tacos. I had the: - Pastor taco - Chicken Taco x2 - Birria taco - Al pastor taco - Modelo Negro (with lime) x2 It was so good that I had to order a second plate.... I originally saw this spot on TikTok, had 30 minutes to kill, and thought this could be a good fill. Expectations exceeded, which you might not expect if you've read my previous reviews. Tune your expectations and enjoy!

What we ordered: birria burrito, chips and salsa, two meat dish with Al pastor and asada. The first downfall is the chips and salsa are not free. The chips were decent and had a good salty flavor, but the salsa was probably the worst salsa I've ever had. No cilantro, no onion no flavor. The Birria burrito was huge, but it was 95% rice. For the little bit of meat that was in the burrito it was flavorful. also, the majority was right towards the center so what you see in that picture is about all there was. It didn't stretch to the end of the burrito. The meat plate was just OK, it had bacon and some other things in it that just were not driving well with me. I would skip it for a more authentic and less Americanized place

Great tacos, tortas, and more! The staff were all super welcoming and the dining room was spotless and inviting. There's so much good food around the area that this place is easy to miss. But don't sleep on it. Great Mexican eats!

    Phenomenal steak tacos

10/10. If you like authentic Mexican tacos just go here. Phenomenal. Outstanding salsa verde (mild), and the steak tacos are OFF THE CHARTS. We have ventured around Indy (and other places throughout random cities in US) and these are my top three favorite. I'm so glad we ventured in here. We will absolutely be back many times!

This place seems to have been "coming soon" for most of the year, so great to see them finally open. Ordered a steak taco and a tripa taco. Doubled up on the corn tortillas and the meat on both were fresh and hot. You get three different salsas of different spice levels to put on. And honestly these are some of the best tacos I've ever had in the Indianapolis area. No pictures of the food as I devoured them, but the menu is pretty extensive. Beer and a few other drinks also available. Very good, and I'd definitely come back if I was in the area wanting a quick bite to eat.

    "Ceviche"

The WEIRDEST "Mexican rice" ever. It was WHITE, without much flavor. Carne asada tacos were okay, a little light on the meat. The "ceviche" tostada contained some miniscule amount of shredded white fish. No shrimp / scallops. Basically it was Pico de gallo with lime juice with a hard, corn tortilla. Tasted okay, but ingredients were terribly lacking. I'm from San Diego and I KNOW authentic Mexican Food. The glaring absence of traditional hot carrots served as an appetizer with a large, green pepper and onions, in the Midwest is just sad.

Heard the hype and wanted to try for a special occasion. We dined in and the food was absolutely delicious, but service was lacking... Maybe it would've been better to serve yourself at the counter? Most frustratingly there are either fees for paying with card (which is OK but was not stated anywhere) or the prices on the menu are different than the prices at checkout. Very deceptive and enough for me to not go back to any establishment.

I have not spent much time in the Eastside of Indianapolis other than Irvington. Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.

Still the best taco I've had!…read more This time I dined in instead of doing takeout. It is teeny tiny inside, just a few tables. But the decor was so pretty and vibrant. I'm pretty sure the owner was the one who waited on us. He was friendly and so patient while we decided what to order. I had the chicken chipotle tacos since I remembered them being so good last time but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
