From the beginning, Beatrix fell in love with Gymnastics Connection. She has been doing gymnastics since she was 3, but all she remembers now is the Gymnastics Connection. She loves the open gyms, the instruction (cried when we couldn't afford two lessons a week, so I applied for scholarships), and she loves the coaches. After the spring showcase last year, she said she wanted to be a gymnast when she grew up. If I have obligations before or after class, Beatrix is able to sit with them an extra few minutes with a snack until I wade through traffic to get there. Above and beyond, one of the best experiences we have had in Seattle. From front desk (Stephanie Kyla) to Coach Maddy, Coach Megs, Coach Monica... stellar experience. They never turned their noses up to us when the credit card didn't go through. They made us feel like Beatrix belonged there as much as the other kids who don't need scholarships or second, third, fourth credit cards. We love you. We thank you. I wish I could give you guys so much more, but right now, all I can say is you made a positive difference in our lives. Thank you!

When I signed up, I believed I was enrolling in a summer session. Instead, I unknowingly entered into an ongoing monthly membership with rigid policies, automatic charges, and little flexibility for new families. Problems we ran into: Billing: We were charged $143.35 for June even though we only attended one class, plus an additional drop-in fee. There was very limited prorated adjustment and no flexibility for starting mid-month (as soon as you sign up you are charged rather than the first class you can join.) When I raised this, I was told tuition is amortized annually -- but that logic doesn't make sense for new members who haven't yet received a full season's worth of classes. Charges during closures: We were charged full tuition for July even though classes were paused the first week of the month. The explanation was that "you'll still get four classes," but the lack of transparency here felt like nickel-and-diming. Cancellation policy: To stop being charged, families must fill out a "drop form" by the first of the month prior. No reminders, no flexibility, no consideration for families trying to navigate school transitions. I missed the August 1 deadline and now I am paying for September classes my child cannot attend. Waitlists: Even when you want to stay enrolled, the waitlists are impossibly long (waitlists are 12-35 people long) So I'm being charged monthly for a class my child isn't even able to participate in. Overall, the business model feels punitive rather than supportive. Instead of welcoming new families, it places the entire burden on parents to read the fine print, track deadlines, and pay for services they cannot use. For a children's program that should be about building community and joy, the policies feel unnecessarily rigid, confusing, and profit-driven. The staff answering emails were polite, but their hands are tied by the system. The problem isn't the front desk -- it's the membership model itself. If you're considering SGA, be very careful before signing up. Unless you are prepared for long waitlists, inflexible billing, and paying for classes your child might not actually attend, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

When I came here growing up, Cascade was a frequently used word in my social sphere (name of a swim club some of my friends were interested in and my grandad volunteered on trails in the Cascade Mountains). In terms of my artistic gymnastic abilities, I was naturally flexible and high energy. I managed to surprise my family/friends that it did not translate to gymnastics ability. As part of a group, we went through and tried different apparatus to the best of our abilities, I was best at bars and worst at floor. I had/have a fear of falling and for some reason that flared up in my not being able to do a cartwheel (fear of falling flat on my face), however an interest in bars (where fear of falling was overcome by apparatus coolness). My time here was short lived in part because of my not quite taking to it, the workers/instructors were kind and understanding both in my taking part and withdrawing/not continuing.

(not including a photo as to protect the privacy of any children in them. Definitely a facility worth checking out for yourself!)

The instructor did an amazing job rotating through activities around the gym -- trampoline, foam pit, dodge ball, tag, ending on the much anticipated ninja course. He struck a really good balance of keeping things fun, while also keeping the boys in check to not get too wild. The private party room was excellent as well. It's a really great balcony setup to observe for the parents that stayed to watch. The helpers in the party room did a great job of keeping the flow (setting up tables, bringing out cake, cleaning up, etc). I really recommend this place for a birthday party. It was a really well run and a great unique birthday event.

The lady who is "in charge" during drop in play has terrible attitude even towards my kids. I came here a few times and I can even say that she is racist, which is terrible and unacceptable. In her last season she experienced retaliation from a coach, emotionally immature leadership, and conduct that violated their own handbook. When concerns were raised by multiple families, ownership declined to meet and responded with: "We believe we can move forward from here and work towards a positive season." Our daughter was eight years old. She lost confidence. She lost skills. Schedules changed constantly. Classes were added mid-season at an extra cost because, in their own words, they had too many girls to teach new routines at once. The list goes on. If you do choose to trial, ask about attrition. We are aware of at least five or six girls leaving a team of fifteen this season alone. That speaks volumes. Competitive gymnastics demands clear communication and genuine investment in every child. You will not find that here.

The facility is beautifully updated with new equipment that is used well by the coaches to help teach the fundamentals and build a solid physical foundation. The gym is clean, inviting, and absolutely buzzing with activity. It's so fun watching all the different levels giving it their all and having a blast. We loved the coach, and watching from the observation area, I was really impressed with the caliber of instruction and serious, but genuinely kind manner. As a parent, this was a valuable opportunity for my child to try new, challenging things and also to grow in grit and confidence. We loved it! The only reason I knocked off a star is that they do mandatory rolling enrollment, basically an auto pay type situation. They allow you to opt out under certain conditions, and the staff are really nice, but it would be nice if they offered an option to do one session at a time for the beginning classes, especially.

A website which is not updated (its been almost 2 years since the beginning of Covid and they say the hours are pre-covid hours) and we came from Issaquah to here for free play time which was used to start at 12pm, we came here at 12:05 and they said the free play time is over at 12:30pm so we would only have 25 mins for $20. I wish at least they could offer me a free 25 mins of play saying "sorry about our mistake please come in for today and play"..
