Came here with a large group after a battle reenactment at the nearby state park. We got there right when the restaurant opened and the staff quickly put together a table for 20. There are a lot of fancy personal pizza options on the menu. I had the wild mushroom pizza and shared a dessert Nutella pizza with the table. The kitchen did a great job of getting all of our food out at the same time. The toppings were very tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the crust, but all in all this was a good experience.

Nomad Pizza is one of those places I used to go to all the time, and it's still a spot I always come back to whenever I'm in Princeton. Their guanciale pizza is a classic with the guanciale and FIG JAM (genius move), though I did notice the flavor has changed a bit, probably from a new supplier, and it tastes a little more pork-forward than it used to. The margherita is a must for me every single time as it's simple, clean, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of their best pies. And the funghi is another standout: earthy, rich, and something they consistently do really well. If you're in Princeton and want great wood-fired pizza, Nomad is hands down the best pizza you'll get.

Good pizza for Princeton. Not a typical classic recipe taste kinda pizza but its good if you want something in a modern urban area and a flare of Fast paced & modern. Good selections and the crust is made well. It's a good place to go if you have kids. Not my favorite but it's good.

Some nights are meant for music and friends and sitting in the grass pretending the world is a little softer than it usually is. That's what we were after at the Princeton Shopping Center. A friend was performing in WOMENROCK! which is the kind of show that makes you think maybe we all still have some beauty left in us. Before the first chord was played and the sun had started to go down, we needed something to eat. Someone said "Let's get pizza from Nomad" and everyone nodded because it has that foodie glow around it. The kind of place that gets whispered about in brunch conversations and local blogs with too many adjectives. We figured it would be expensive but good. We were half right. When we got there it was chaos. Not the fun kind either. More the disorganized, distracted, hurry-up-and-wait kind. The meat slicer was broken, which meant they were out of several pizzas, all involving things like prosciutto and whatnot. Apparently one machine stood between us and several options on the menu. Life is like that sometimes. The pizzas only come in one size. That size is slightly too much for one person or not quite enough for two. A clever trick for the house, not so much for the customer. We got two pepperoni pies for our family. That's $42. I don't know what kind of pepperoni has to travel first class to justify that price but it didn't show up with a passport or a purpose. The pizza was fine. Let me say that again. It was fine. Dough was moist and chewy. The flavor was there. But the slices had all the structural integrity of a sad birthday balloon. They flopped over the moment you picked them up like they'd given up on life. No crispness. No backbone. Just sauce and cheese surrendering to gravity. And that's the thing. For $21 a pie and a reputation built on food pilgrimages and curated rusticity, I expected something better than "fine." I expected a little joy. I expected a slice I could hold in one hand without reenacting a pizza-based tragedy. There are too many great pizza places around Mercer County to settle for this again. We ate it. We did not suffer. But we will not return. The music in the shopping center's courtyard, by the way, was wonderful.

First time checking Nomad out and I really enjoyed my experience here. I had the Spicy Sausage Pizza and Vodka pie with Pepperoni, which is a must! The dough is nice and soft. Very chill environment, amazing service and delicious food....can't go wrong with that! Definitely will be visiting again soon to explore the rest of the menu.

I have been here several times they are. Casual atmosphere and service is pretty quick and it's definitely a good spot for great pizzas and I love the appetizers. Even though they are a pretty decent size I definitely would consider calling ahead if you have a large party . The Tartufo pie is delicious and probably my favorite. I always get the arugula salad but decided to go with Caesar this time around . We also ordered dessert pizzas this time around Nutella pizza is a must ! Swing by and give this place a try if you are looking for a new spot to try .

Super great wood fired pizza. The salads are also fabulous- I love Nomad Pizza! Family friendly but also a nice place to take a dinner date. The first experience I had here was with an Italian Language and Culture course I attended through the Princeton Adult School. I guess that's a glowing example of the level of respect Nomad generates in the community. Just go! Nomad does not disappoint !

    L-R, tartufo, spicy sausage, guanciale
    Nathaniel L.

The guanciale and tartufo were excellent, but the spicy sausage was disappointing. It seemed like it was mostly onions on top of the pie, with a sprinkle of sausage. Would've preferred doubling on the tartufo. In general the slices had poorly distributed toppings so some had max toppings, while others were basically plain.

Great pizza, good service, a little loud sometimes but nice space for a big group. Always enjoy coming here for hot soppresseta and tartufo

To start, customer service is horrible. "Manager" is rude and unprofessional. The pizza is also not good, BURNT.

Normally we stay away from pasta restaurants unless there's something unique to it. However, Pastiamo hit a home run immediately. From Chef Francesca being ever present in the restaurant - from serving to seating - to the homemade focaccia you receive as a starter, it was an impeccable dining experience. Then you add the nice plates and simple, yet warm decor. You just can't go wrong. We split the forza Italia as an appetizer to get more of a focaccia kick. We loved the homemade bread. The three cheeses were a nice and complimentary touch. Also, dousing this with some freshly squeezed orange juice didn't hurt. For the main course, we split a pesto gnocchi and a tagliatelle alla Norma. The pasta was truly homemade. Felt super fresh. The sauces were great and not too oily or salty. It was so good that we decided to bring some home to my parents. We will be back again!

The service was…read moregood except they missed the occasion we were celebrating and didn't care to bring out a candle with the dessert we ordered . As we were leaving I reconfirmed it with the person at the host's desk ( seemed to be the manager) , who apologized and said maybe our waiter missed it . But it was a noticeable miss that cannot be overlooked, as that was the purpose of our dinner here. End of the meal, our family's spirits fell flat, but we still sang and celebrated sans the petty candle. Now on to the food and drinks... Mocktails were delicious, colorful, and eye-catching . We tried all 3 on the menu and loved it. Appetizers galore filled our table ... Bang Bang cauliflower had a medley of sweet & sour flavors. Hummus pita board - Warm grilled pita was a table favorite with the small portion of hummus and fresh crisp veggies. Harvest salad - crisp lettuce, feta cheese, walnuts, poached and fresh sliced pear, cucumbers, and watermelon radish with rose vinaigrette made this extra special. Crispy calamari - great pairing with pickled veggies and arugula basil aioli. We ordered an assortment of entrees with all seafood choices . Salmon with risotto , Halibut & Branzino cooked to perfection served with flavorful sides. For dessert, it was the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter cup . The brownie was soft and not too sweet, slightly warm and it vanished in a few seconds. Peanut butter cup was a dense donut texture with candied peanuts We hoped that at least one of the desserts would be served with a candle as we were celebrating a birthday but they missed it and didn't care enough despite letting them know when marking the reservation. I loved everything about the experience at Agricola, but their lack of attention to detail stuck out like a sore thumb , as the poor communication between their front desk and wait staff dampens the guests' experience , making it a not-so-great finish .

In contrast to their far more expansive location in Morristown, the Princeton location is noticeably more "intimate" with Manhattan inspired table crowding. Not enough to detract from a wonderful meal but certainly worth noting. Five stars all day long. PS... no credit card surcharge. A surprise that certainly puts a smile on my face.
