Surprisingly, there was a lot of seating for such a small place. Inside was nice. There were photos of people smiling which seemed to be in Italy. Service was good. But, it took a bit awhile before our server got our orders and she didn't top off our water when it got low. But, otherwise, she was friendly. They seated us promptly. We were a party of 9. The pizzas we had were very good. With the "No Choice" pizza, however, had an agave sauce that threw some of us off. I liked it, but I understood why some people wouldn't. They weren't coal fired pizzas. But, they were still very delicious. The place is worth revisiting.

When you find a pizzeria while l passing by and you see that it is rated well , you definitely want to try it . Tino's was one such spot and we stopped to try it . Walked in to little To go counter which leads into a large dining area Z . We were quickly seated and was greeted by the cheery orange walls and Danny. Maia was our waitress who was ever so patient and cheerful , answering all our questions about the the menu. Danny one of their Managers was equally friendly & shared information about their Pizzeria and other affiliated joints in the area Our pick was a Half n Half - Margherita & Tartufo Pizza . No words to describe , as we enjoyed both halves and relished every bite only wanting more ! Chocolate cake was an afterthought but it stole the show . To put it in a nutshell, we couldn't rest the spoon . It's no surprise why this place is rated so well . The food being the primary driver, but the staff and service being a close second . Don't miss this pizzeria .

It's the best pizza I've ever had. My brother and I stopped in today for a quick bite and we were in no way disappointed. The pizza was amazing! Staff was friendly! Definitely will be a returning customer.

What a treat! This place is a must try for families or friends catching up over some delicious plates! The seating area is well decorated, home-y with a beautiful fireplace in the center, and well organized on the outdoor patio. Our server was well knowledged with great recs as it was our first time and the entire staff took care of us so well. Had the Pear Salad, Gnocchi bites, Polenta fries to start. For entrees we chose the Puglia with peppers and Raffaella -- both absolutely delicious. Personally, I think the raffaella was a little tooo salty (heavy on the shaved parm) but the sweetness of the tomato sauce balanced out the meal. We also tried the eggplant parm sandwich but would probably swap this for the Parm pizza instead. The pasta salad on the side was YUMMY and I would loveeee a heavier portion on the menu to split with for the table. Can't wait to come back and try some diff items next time!

This place is very nice and clean. It's much more spacious than the JC location. There is plenty of parking in back of the restaurant. The service is OK. I do feel that the staff could be a little bit more friendlier. The pizzas, house made sodas, salads are all great.

Tino's is easy to miss along Rt 27, especially in the dark of 4 PM in November. The parking lot is even harder to spot, but is tucked away with plenty of spots in the back. To enter, just find the bank and enter through there! As soon as we entered Tino's the warmth of both the much needed heaters and the staff hit us right away. It was very welcoming and made us excited to try their pizza! I've been meaning to bring my boyfriend here because he's a pizza fanatic. I'm happy to say that this shop lived up to the hype. Personally, I need my pizza to have a little oomph, and Tino's delivered on that front. I had the Raffaella which was flavorful and had a kick. The mozzarella on top was a good bonus and balanced with the chili paste! The bruschetta was also delicious and very refreshing. We ended with hand made gelato that was the same flavor as cannoli filling. The creaminess of the gelato went well with the cannoli chocolate chips. Perfect end to our dinner!

The pizzeria is good for takeout. Onsite dinner is also enjoyable. I should go back and try more.

Got delivery of Tino's Margherita pizza. Very average taste. Disappointing. I probably would've enjoyed Papa John's more.

Ask the Community - Tino’s Artisan Pizza

    Is this spot dog friendly?

They let well-behaved dogs on the deck.

Is it still OK to BYOB now that you have a wine list available (2024)?

Hello J.L. Yes, we are still BYOB. At Tino’s, we support Hopewell Valley vineyards but we also welcome BYOB at all of our locations.

    Gluten free pizzas?

    Yes!!!

Can it accommodate a group of a dozen people?

Not easily. They are very tiny. They might be able to accommodate the group on their back deck, but definitely not at one long table

    Is this a byob?

    Yes. It's a BYOB.

"This looks like a place I would come as a drunk college kid," my husband mused when we first stepped inside. True to his observations, the menu is rife with the kinds of deep fried goodies and artery-clogging sandwiches that are best meant for youthful bodies with optimal metabolism. We ordered a fun variety for ourselves - a meatball parm, a pound of buffalo wings, an order of curly fries, and - to balance things out - the harvest salad. For those ordering sandwiches, know that they're enormous. A half order is an 11" deal, while the whole is a Brobdingnagian 22". Our half sandwich was great, and definitely more than enough for us to share. We had few notes on anything we ordered. The curly fries were hot and crispy, the buffalo wings hot and tangy, and the meatball parm was just as expected. I was particularly surprised by the salad, which was just supposed to be a fresh and green counterpart to all the heavier foods. I would have been happy enough with some greens and a vinaigrette, but we had a pretty robust salad with blue cheese, chicken, and pieces of diced apple. I never would've expected to find a good salad at a place like this one, but there you go. There are a few high tables and stools, but little else by way of ambiance. Clearly, the focus here is to eat and clear out. That said, service at the counter was incredibly warm and friendly. As far as parking goes, there are a few spots out front and even a few more behind the building. I struggled with the number of stars here, because this isn't highbrow or fine dining. If that's what you're after, I'd definitely look elsewhere. But it's predictable, freshly prepared, and therefore perfect for a college town. If that's what you're expecting, this is your four-star spot.

I made the order yesterday to be curbside picked up by 6:30 a.m today before I went to work. When I got to Bagel Street Grill at 6:30 a.m, I sat in my car for 10 minutes and no one came out to bring me my pick up order, so I went inside to get it. When I got inside, my order was not ready!! How on earth is my order not ready when I placed my order an entire 24 hours prior? Once all of my bagels were ready, a male employee comes to me and tells me that they do not have a seafood salad spread, despite it being listed online, so the employee gave me the option to pick a different spread. I picked tuna, which technically was cheaper than the seafood salad spread, so I should have received a refund in the difference, but I did not. Secondly, the employee had no idea what the "cut and tray" was. Online, the 'cut and tray" is listed as an assorted fruit platter. The employee then tells me that I owe them $10 additional dollars because the "cut and tray" is for the bagels to be cut and packaged. This was an absolute lie, because I had already paid extra when I ordered my bagels to have them each cut and toasted. They were trying to make me pay $10 to put bagels in a container? Absolutely not! After I advised the employee that I have already paid to have my bagels cut and toasted and that online it says the "cut and tray" is assorted fruit, the employee proceeds to tell me that I now owe an additional $50 for fruit. Mind you, the fruit was not ready or with my order at the time. How do I suddenly owe an additional $50, when the employee did not even know what the "cut and tray" was until he called his boss? When I declined to pay an additional $50 and that it was okay, I didn't need the fruit and that I needed to go because I had to get to work, the employee starts to reprimand me stating that the confusion was my fault because technically my order is considered a catered order and online says that you have to call the store for catered orders. WHAT?!?!?! I bought bagels for my team, not a party and to tell the customer that they are at fault because the employee is not properly trained on what their products are is ridiculous! How about Bagel Street Grill update their website! If you don't carry a seafood spread, remove it. If ordering 17 bagels is considered catering, then the establishment needs to put on their website the amount of bagels they consider a catered order. Lastly, Bagel Street Grill needs to provide better training to their managers and employees, because the staff is disrespectful. I was over 25 minutes late to work because the employees at Bagel Street Grill did not have my order ready, did not deliver my order to my vehicle, were unknowledgeable on their own products, and rude! I have grown up in Plainsboro and have gone to that bagel shop a plethora of times over the years and today was the first time that I was disappointed in service and won't be returning! I will also ensure I provide my feedback and experience at Bagel Street Grill to family, friends, and social media to warn others about the customer service at this place!
