Spent about $36 but definitely worth it. Sandwiches were good size, fresh and so yummy. I had almost half left and my daughter absolutely destroyed it when she got home. lol! You walk into the place to smiling faces. There are tables if you'd like to stay and eat too. Parking is in the back but limited. Busy little area. Pretty chill place otherwise. The bread tastes fresh and isn't hard. I cannot stand hard to eat bread. lol Plenty of selections to choose from. You can also load it up with all the free stuff or as they called it jack it up. One of my favorite sandwiches places. I love the way they named the sandwiches with local slangs and places. My favorite is the Club Kailua. Their bread is made fresh daily and it's so good. Timmy T's is my go-to spot whenever I want a quick and filling meal, that doesn't feel too "heavy". Their sandwiches are always made fresh to order, and they're really fast. It only takes me about 5 minutes to drive there after ordering on the app, and my order is ready by the time I get there. They do have some parking in the back of the bldg, but if it's open, I'll just stop right in front (no parking zone) and just run in and out in less than 2 minutes. My favorites are the Pacific Pastrami, the Warrior, and the Club Tommy. If you're concerned about carb intake, you can order it as a Walking salad. They'll sub out the bread with a big wrap of lettuce. It's a little messier, but I've had it before, and is still delicious. They're really convenient, because they'll make deliveries for even a one sandwich order; which I have done in the past, especially during the pandemic. The staff is always friendly and they have a lively vibe in the restaurant. They even used to toss the sandwich over to me, which was kinda fun. I'm happy to see that they now have 3 locations (even after closing the one in downtown). I even asked for extra lettuce, sprouts, and both types of onions, and it still came out looking like a mini torpedo. For nearly $11, the sandwich was tiny and seriously lacking in meat. To put it in perspective, you can get more meat on a $4 sandwich from 7-Eleven. That's saying a lot. Honestly, for that price, I expected something much more filling. Hopefully the owner or manager sees this and responds, because I'd like to think this portion of meat was a mistake and not standard practice. Cool sandwich shop in Kailua near Kailua Hardware store. The interior is spacious and very clean. Their posted menu is very clear and colorful, and the descriptions are great! We had the Kailua Club and the pastrami grinders. Both come loaded with lettuce and tomatoes and the club had some very fresh avocado. Tried this place for the first time. Pros: delicious sandwiches. I had the Goodfella. It was a good choice. Service was fast and friendly. Sandwich was made by the time I finished checking out and getting my soda. The Cons: street parking on the weekend is packed. They have parking in the back of the store but it looks like it's shared with some apartments so I wasn't sure about where to park. Getting to the parking is a one lane on the side of the store so you need to be careful when entering or exiting. Overall, it was a good lunch, but I may hit the a different location due to better parking. read more
