There's something about grabbing coffee and a quick bite that sets the tone for the whole day. I…read morestopped into this Dunkin' early morning, not really expecting more than the basics -- but the way it played out actually left me smiling. I ordered a signature caramel latte, an avocado toast, and a Bavarian cream donut. The latte came out rich and sweet, just enough caramel to keep it smooth without tipping into sugar overload. The avocado toast was fresh and crisp, stacked with creamy avocado that made it feel more like breakfast than just a snack. And the donut? Classic Dunkin' -- soft, filled right, exactly the kind of comfort bite you want with coffee. Here's where it went from good to memorable. The store had only one girl working the counter. You could see she was hustling hard, trying to take care of everyone. It meant the wait was longer than usual, but instead of hiding behind it, she came over, apologized sincerely, and slipped me an extra donut as a thank you for being patient. That small gesture flipped the whole experience -- it wasn't about the donut, it was about feeling noticed and appreciated. The shop itself was clean and relaxed, the donut case stacked, and plenty of seating if you want to sit for a bit. Nothing flashy, but everything in place. Final take: 5 stars, no doubt. Sometimes it's the little human touches that make an ordinary coffee run feel like a win.

They were sitting right next to the Julian pies and it kinda looked like a fight, like a battle of the mountain bakeries kind of fight. Needless to say, I grabbed both because everyone immediately glorifies the Julian pie so by including the Ramona pie, my objective was to introduce some low risk novelty for my Christmas get-together. I didn't have high hopes for Ramona's blueberry because I was suspicious of the huge bready looking crust roll in combination with the sticker on the front boasting "no seed oils". I'm not fluent in baking alchemy. I was raised on Costco pie (bleh). So, I thought this was going to be dry and overly sweet but much to my whole family's surprise, Ramona was the winner! My takeaway: Do not discriminate the chubby crust roll! Take it from me because I'm a savage that eats a pie right out of the fridge. The crust is like a shortbread cookie. It's almost on the Italian pastry spectrum. Very delicious. Very coffee friendly. The blueberry filling was also perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet and even with the crumble topping, I felt like I could eat it with yogurt in the morning and trick myself into calling it a wholesome breakfast. Now, I'm going to say this with a huge shield up... but it knocked the Julian apple pie way off the shelf for me.

The latte was actually really good, but the overall experience was average. There was a huge line when I arrived, and only one person was handling everything including taking orders, making drinks, and preparing food. She was clearly working incredibly hard, but it was just too much for one person to manage during a busy rush, so the wait ended up being pretty long. I honestly felt bad for her. I really think this place would benefit from having at least two people working during peak hours because the café itself is actually pretty cute. They have lots of games inside, limited indoor seating, and a large covered outdoor seating area as well.

Which I suppose was a good thing because everything was filthy. The small cups are now smaller than before. Which is fine, because there's still the extra large cups. This is the second time the flavors listed on their daily Instagram post were not available. Two of the three flavors I tried to get were extremely melted almost to milk. Last time I went the girl told me I'd have a $5 reward on my next visit. This time it wasn't offered or mentioned. And it was $20 for two small yogurts that melted within minutes. Not a great experience at all.

So we paid and and as we were sitting down the other girl rolled out the cart of toppings. we asked if we would be able to add toppings now and she told us no we would need to purchases sides of toppings. We did not tip when we paid because there was no toppings and the girl Was kinda rude. So we went back paid for a new yogurt with the toppings we wanted and the girl was even more rude aggresively shoved the spoons in the yogurt and had an irritated face. I could understand being rude if you were putting forth effort and working for your money and didn't receive a tip. But she literally just stood in one spot the entire time we were there and a simple question to her co worker would have let us know the toppings were almost done.
