The service was very friendly and I received my food within 15-20 minutes after ordering. I got the spaghetti bolognese (lasagna style per staff recommendation), alfredo pasta, and pesto pasta. I saw this place when I was at Haven City Market for an event a couple weeks ago, and I knew I wanted to try it out. I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup. When I arrived, they were very busy working on other pickup orders, as well as taking orders for those visiting Haven City. There were only 2 employees working, and they were hauling. They confirmed my name for the order and I confirmed the items for the order. I told them it was our first time trying them and they were excited to hear that and told me they may be biased, but it's very good. We opted to order and share the lemon mascarpone pasta, adding a breaded chicken cutlet, as well as the Italian hot beef sandwich and a strawberries and cream Italian soda. The sandwich was good, I'd probably get it without the provolone next time. The cheese pull was incredible, but I think the cheese overpowered the beef. The giardiniera is usually my favorite addition to these sandwiches, but it could have been spicier for my liking. I have frequented Portillo's in the past, so that is where my bar was set, and truth be told--that's a high bar to try and meet or surpass. The lemon mascarpone pasta was delicious. The sauce had a nice amount of citrus, but wasn't overpowering, nor was it too heavy. I do think the chicken may have been slightly overcooked. I ordered for the first time last month. I actually "created" a sandwich that was not on the menu and it was amazing. The Cashier as well as the young lady who prepared the sandwich actually stated that they had never seen it the way I ordered and were going to try it themselves. I am a fan. Their chicken Alfredo is on the runny side but the chicken is thin and crispy. The sauce is flavored perfectly but so is the chicken. Together it can be a bit flavorful which I don't always mind. Service is usually good. My son likes to be the one to order and they are always patient with him which I highly appreciate. I was here in Haven City Market with my eldest daughter a few days ago. I wanted to support Nonna's Bistro as they are having a grand opening under new management. It has a nice setup almost like a European flare to the decor. I got an opportunity to try their Strawberry & Cream Italian soda at a Yelp event recently. It was so good that I wanted to get it again on my next visit. The young gentleman behind the register was really nice. I asked him which flavor was his favorite Italian soda... it was between strawberry and peach. He said peach so peach it is. It was perfect because peach is my eldest daughter's favorite fruit drink. For less than $5, you get a good size cup of Italian soda... how great is that! Thank you! It was very light, fizzy, and refreshing. My daughter loved it and so did I. We didn't get a chance to try their sandwiches since we had ordered foods from the other food vendors, but we'll definitely be back to check out their food items next time. Just ate here for the first time tonight, really enjoyed it. Not only was the food delicious but the service was outstanding. I got the bolognese and my girlfriend got the lasagna, we both loved our meals. Sometimes, a restaurant can come off a bit annoyed if you send something back - remember, no one WANTS to send food back. It just happens sometimes. But when my girlfriend realized the middle of her lasagna was a bit cold, they fixed it and replaced it with a brand new one hot out of the oven in a heartbeat. They were so kind and apologetic about it even though they didn't need to be. We really appreciated this and will be returning any chance we get because of this. I was able to thankfully order some fettuccine with chicken from them the day before for my daughters 17th birthday Danny was very nice and great customer service made me feel so comfortable the day when I went to pick it up offered me and my daughter a soda while we were there, I loved the berry açaí drink so fresh and I really needed it with all of the running around I was doing. Stopped by Haven City for dinner and decided to try an entree from Nonna's Bistro. Waited for some time to have staff come out to place an order but once they were able to assist they recommended I try the pesto pasta. This dish is a vegetarian friendly option but I opted to try it with the breaded chicken cutlet. Please know that the entrees at Nonna's bistro can feed 2 people easily. The dish comes 2 small pieces of garlic toast. So I ordered the cheesy garlic bread with the dipping sauce. The pests was okay it needs some doctoring up as the flavor was underwhelming. When we think of pesto I'm thinking infused flavors of garlic and basil but this dish was so mild it was missing something. The cheesy bread was the surprise selection out of this eating experience. Overall portion sizes are large, some entree options are vegetarian friendly but need some help with flavor. read more

Oh my God this place has the best sandwich ever made. It's as good as if you went to Italy and I've been to Italy. They're very similar, but this guy puts on more meat than the Italian would.. It's listed as a cold sandwich but the bread is warm and the havarti is melted which is very much appreciated. Hot kettle chips are also great. They remind me of The Buffalo Inn's. Review is based on sandwiches only - I have ordered La Donna twice now and twice I'm so happy with my order! The bread is so soft and delicious. The spread is perfect and here's the kicker- I HATE tomatoes, I can stand them cooked but never fresh. However, in this sandwich, they are the sweetest yummiest thing when paired all together. I wish they were a smidge cheaper but definitely worth the once in a while order. Also their "chips"?! So good! And you get so many.
