We were looking for a snack this afternoon and decided to stop in! We liked that you could customize your boba tea with the different bobas and syrups, so we made a strawberry kiwi one with milk. Nice addition Coligny, which had previously been lacking in the area of high-quality fast-casual spots. Nood is small but mighty, a very clean, well-decorated, good vibes spots with both indoor & outdoor seating. You order at a walk-up counter and then your food is delivered to your table, hot and fresh. My mom and husband and I just wanted a little bit of a snack, not full meals all around, so we got a few things to split. We were surprised that the crab rangoon was so crab-heavy, not primarily sweet cream cheese like at most of the Chinese takeout spots where we usually get it. These were different but SO good, with subtle but real crab flavor and a really nice sauce drizzled on top. The tofu lo mein was also very good but was actually better that evening as leftovers; I liked it served hot, but it was surprisingly perfect cold out of the fridge with some extra sesame seeds. We also enjoyed the one big eggroll, which is vegetarian and served with a miso mustard sauce that everyone loved. It was a sort of cold, drizzly, off-season day, and we were the only ones there for most of our visit, so at the end of our meal, the owner (I think?) brought over a boba tea concoction -- my mom's first boba experience! I recorded a video of her trying it for the first time because she was so funny about it, but she really loved this drink and now wants me to take her to a boba spot back home. Thanks to Nood for turning her on to something she enjoyed so much! We visit HHI twice a year or so, and I look forward to going back to Nood for a full meal next time we're in town. read more

This place was cute and a nice find. Plus it was nice that it was In Walking distance to our condo. We ordered several items including lo mein, Yaki, orange chicken, bone broth, teriyaki skewers and hand rolled egg rolls. The noodle were very flavorful and the Yaki was my favorite because of the thick noodles and delightful sauce. I also really enjoyed the egg rolls - and they were huge! We had left overs as the portions were large. The cashier was friendly but forgot to ask us if it was for here or to go, when I noticed they were plating items that looked like for here I mentioned that this was a to go order and the chef was annoyed. I've had some disappointing meals in my lifetime but this one takes the cake. Asking, "Is it as bad as Nood?" will become the new yardstick to measure how terrible the food is. We came on a Tuesday night in March and ordered using the QR code prominently displayed outside the door. After the order was placed, the receipt said it would be approx 30 minutes. I found that surprising since the small restaurant only had 8 people inside and they had already been served. After about 15 min I went to the counter and said, "Hi, I used the app to order outside and just wanted to check on the order." The young girl at the counter looked over and told me that since they JUST got my order (emphasizing "just") that it would be awhile and she would call me when it was ready. About 10 minutes later she came over to the table, placed the bag in front of me and walked away without so much as a smile. She wasn't rude per se, just not at all friendly. The pork fried dumplings were okay. Seemed like your run of the mill frozen and fried dumpling, dry and hard on the outside. The beef lo mein was bland at best. There were 6 small pieces of beef, the equivalent of 6 large grapes or about 1.5 oz. I can't believe they have the audacity to consider it a serving. The wavy noodz is what really prompted this review. There was no flavor and what was there was just odd. Nothing worked together between the flavorless noodles, the strange "bone broth" and the woody mushrooms. The pork belly was all belly, as in, just a giant blob of fat on each piece. The scallions were cut thick and stood out in contrast. The fish cakes were thin and got lost in the mix. The only item that was delicious was the kimchi. It didn't taste like it had fermented for long but I would definitely order it again. All in all, I'm sad to have lost, I mean spent $51 here on a nearly inedible dinner. Do yourself a favor and patron a different restaurant. read more

If you're here for boba and you're a true boba fanatic, I'd recommend you skip Nood. When they offer sparkling water, coke, or chocolate milk as a base of your drink, you know you're in the wrong place. I ordered a kumquat green tea and I watched them pour a bottled Ito En koicha tea straight into my cup. No options for sweetness and the kumquat flavor was very faint. I also got their sesame chicken as a snack and just as others had mentioned, they were pretty salty. Like REALLY salty. I took a couple of bites and couldn't finish it. Also, the breading was a bit overwhelming and it just turned the chicken bites into a soppy, mushy mess. read more

My review is solely based on the bubble tea I bought from here. Great service, very kind and attentive. However I have to say, the bubble tea tasted very mediocre. I ordered a taro milk tea with brown sugar tapioca and the tapioca had no flavor and was not as chewy. Also, the drink consisted of mostly ice and didn't taste well-blended. Also, the price ($7) was very high for a small portion. I'd rather go to Kung Fu Tea a couple miles down for quality and cheaper bubble tea. read more

Plenty of noodle bowl options on the menu. Generous portions and good flavors but they need to improve the temperature of the broth. I ordered the curry noodle bowl and it was not at the right temperature so I requested that they fix the issue. It took them a while and it was still not up to standard when I got it back. The curry flavor was a bit bitter and lacked the right amount of seasoning. The shrimp tempura was crispy and not greasy. Most of the people in our party also had the same issue with the temperature of their broths. Perhaps our bowls sat too long in the kitchen since they were busy and seems to be understaffed. Only one server and one cook in the kitchen. The noodle toppings were generous as you can see from the photos but they do need to improve their flavors and the broth's temperature needs to be piping hot! The server (and perhaps he was the owner too) was very nice and friendly. Kudos to him and the cook for trying to make things right. read more

First day on Hilton Head Island looking for vegan food. It's not a vegan restaurant.but their are vegan options and the owner himself took the time with us to explain the menu and what options he could provide for us. The food was great, very tasty. We had the Black Rice Nood, the special which was Yaki Soba and steamed veggie dumplings. All made vegan and very fresh. The owner then added chicken of the woods mushrooms to both dishes that he had foraged himself just as an added treat for us. It was really nice. I can't recommend this place enough. The place has so much heart and soul in it and cares about the relationship of people through the shared experience of food. It's a hidden gem in Hilton Head! read more

We've become rather accustomed to paying high costs for average tasting food on Hilton Head. We went to three restaurants at 6 and were told wait times were one hour and longer. Kind of happened upon Nood. Glad we did! The food is fantastic. The lo mein is delicious. Egg rolls are enormous. Sesame chicken recipe is one of a kind. My husband got the soup bowl. Oh my gosh it's hard to put into words how much I love this place! Me and my fiancé came to HHI for my birthday and we stumbled across this place while looking around our resort area! As we walked in, we were greeted happily by two ladies and they gladly took our order. We actually came here the day before to get boba and we both wanted the same boba from yesterday (mine was black sugar and his was ginger) and she actually remembered what we wanted! We also got food this time too so I got the Cheesy Noodz and my fiancé got the Yaki Noodz. I was a little scared to try the cheesy one since this was a Asian place but I was so wrong. The Cheesy one is SO GOOD! It has the perfect amount of flavor to it and the spam makes it even better! My fiancés Yaki Noodz were also really good but once he tried a bite of mine, he went crazy and wished he gotten what I got! I really love everything about this place. The music was loud (which I personally like) and the atmosphere was very chill. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for great Asian fusion food and some awesome music read more

Ordered takeout and food was so bland I thought something was wrong with me. Like genuinely was considering I had Covid. The same day I tried Nood for the first time, my Nana was hosting a BBQ which I couldn't attend because I assumed I was sick. My Aunt Sally brought over some of Nana's famous ribs because of my absence and they were amazing and full of flavor.
