Yessssssss. What a surprise to have such a delightful ramen meal on a vacation in South Carolina. Efficient service with delightful food! We had a good Food platter with a selection of appetizers. We also had a bowl of their ramen. To drink, we enjoyed their boba teas (I had coffee and my husband had taro milk tea). All of it was lovely.

Obscenely expensive. Thought I'd treat myself to bubble tea, given it's the only one on the island. I spent nearly $10 on the drink. Absolutely not worth it.

We were looking for a snack this afternoon and decided to stop in! We liked that you could customize your boba tea with the different bobas and syrups, so we made a strawberry kiwi one with milk. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't more flavorful. We also had the pulled chicken tacos which were pretty good, and the potstickers which we enjoyed. The food took a really long time to come out though and we were the only ones there.

Well we needed a boba fix and were pleased to find this place in Coligny just a short bike ride for us. We tried Mint Tea oat milk, Chai Tea, and black sugar all with black sugar boba. Yummy!!!

So happy with this addition to HHI! They're a fast casual restaurant across from the beach in coligney plaza. I tried the Black rice Noodz and they were delicious! They have a variety of hot sauces to add to spice it up, I used siracha that added perfect heat. The broth has a lot of depth of flavor. In addition to hot food they have cold noodles and appetizers. And bubble tea! Which seemed to be very popular. I'll be back!

Orange chicken, yaki

This place was cute and a nice find. Plus it was nice that it was In Walking distance to our condo. We ordered several items including lo mein, Yaki, orange chicken, bone broth, teriyaki skewers and hand rolled egg rolls. The noodle were very flavorful and the Yaki was my favorite because of the thick noodles and delightful sauce. I also really enjoyed the egg rolls - and they were huge! We had left overs as the portions were large. The cashier was friendly but forgot to ask us if it was for here or to go, when I noticed they were plating items that looked like for here I mentioned that this was a to go order and the chef was annoyed. Not really my fault.. hope it didn't ruin his day. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit and the food for several days.

Shirley Temple with dragon fruit boba.

Awesome selection of dishes to choose from. We tried the veggie dumplings, Chicken teriyaki skewers & Al's aloha rice balls. Seriously can't decide what I loved the most, everything was delectable. While you are there don't forget to scoop a Shirley temple boba tea!

We tried this place this week and we loved it! The noodles were awesome and you could add whatever protein. I highly recommend you try it!

Plenty of noodle bowl options on the menu. Generous portions and good flavors but they need to improve the temperature of the broth. I ordered the curry noodle bowl and it was not at the right temperature so I requested that they fix the issue. It took them a while and it was still not up to standard when I got it back. The curry flavor was a bit bitter and lacked the right amount of seasoning. The shrimp tempura was crispy and not greasy. Most of the people in our party also had the same issue with the temperature of their broths. Perhaps our bowls sat too long in the kitchen since they were busy and seems to be understaffed. Only one server and one cook in the kitchen. The noodle toppings were generous as you can see from the photos but they do need to improve their flavors and the broth's temperature needs to be piping hot! The server (and perhaps he was the owner too) was very nice and friendly. Kudos to him and the cook for trying to make things right.

Great ramen! They have a lot of options and portion size was just right. We didn't expect ramen in Hilton Head so it was a nice surprise.

Food is covered in very salty sauces and lacks any hint of quality. Based on the udon noodle n beef and the rice plate.

The broth was impossibly milky and deeply flavorful -- the kind that stops you mid-bite. The ambiance and service were a complete and welcome surprise. We were visiting Charleston from St. Pete, and having traveled to many countries around the world, I rarely feel compelled to write reviews. But this place moved me. They could easily hold their own as a full-service, five-star ramen restaurant on every level -- price, value, quantity, and the overall experience. The whole nine yards. Highly recommend.

Strangely, mine was brought to me packaged for takeout; I don't know why their in-house ordering would default to that but maybe I hit a wrong button? Maybe some room for process improvement there, but they didn't give me any trouble about transitioning to a dine-in bowl. Their vegetable ramen is promised with a citrus note and there were discernible little bits of yuzu in it. The tofu it comes with is marinated in something sweeter, which wasn't my favorite flavor combination but is typical to the cuisine. I found the flavor improved with tableside spices; they have both a black pepper mix and a house chili powder. The portion size was not huge, and even adding extra inari on the side just satisfied my cravings, and this was after I'd had breakfast. There were some Japanese-speaking people dining there who seemed to be slurping approvingly. I could imagine having had a better experience, but the quality of broth and noodles was worth coming for me.

I am so sorry that for our limited time in Beaufort, we opted for this restaurant, based on its good reviews. This is not a flattering review, and I give it two stars only because I myself tend to dismiss one-star reviews as coming from people with an axe to grind. We try to support small, local businesses, but Ocha Noodle Cafe was a waste of our money, and a wasted opportunity in Beaufort to have a satisfying meal-- so maybe I do have an axe to grind given my disappointment, and even anger about how far two of the four dishes were so disliked to the point of no one wanting to eat them for next-day leftovers. Of the four entrees, only one was good-- the flat noodles with broccoli. The calamari was okay. The larb was awful-- it was very salty and the umami flavor was so strong that it crossed the border from flavorful to smelling as though it had started to turn, although it didn't taste off. However, once we were aware of the off-putting pungent odor, all of us lost the desire to eat it. Most of it was thrown out. The Singapore noodles (see pic) were awful and nothing at all like the way Singapore noodles should be. This dish seemed to be made from cut up bits of spaghetti, which has been overcooked-- the noodles were soft and mushy, in a salty, greasy, and slimy sauce. Most of it was thrown out. The waiter, who smiled only when directly facing us, got the orders correct, and didn't let the water glasses go dry.

It had several quail eggs in it... menu did not list soy sauce marinated quail eggs in this soup. The noodles were the texture of basic 25€ noodles from Food Lion. They were al dente, not softened at all. I am all for supporting local businesses this just wasn't pleasing at all. Sara seemed to be annoyed with many people coming in at 630pm. The younger girl ( didn't catch her name) was very sweet and helpful. I always give establishments two try's before I don't return. Next time I will try something else and will come back for another review.

Verenice was the BEST! Give that girl a raise or a promotion! She was doing it all! From taking orders, bringing food out, and cleaning up tables! She helped us navigate the menu/ordering. She also brought out our food to the table and was so helpful during our first time here. There were lots of ramen options to choose from. You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. A claw machine with stuffed animals and lots of Pokémon cards for sale.
