Another one of my absolute favorite places in Salinas. Great food, excellent service, at a good price. Would actually like to give them 4.5 starts. Love the chicken noodle soup, always makes me feel good. Not the greatest looking place, but it is clean, but a bit small too. Huge menu selection of Chinese type foods, but you need to try the Vietnamese soups or Pho. Friendly, fast, service. Great value. Was one of my favorite secret places to bring people to years ago, but it is busy and gets crowded because of word of mouth, and now Yelp. Stay away from those terrible buffet places and try them instead, you'll be glad you did. read more

The food was not what I excepted. I thought the food was a bit expensive for the portion sizes. The spring rolls were delicious! However, the sauce had a weird after taste to it. I also ordered the Kung-Pao chicken and it didn't have much taste to it. read more

I was excited to hear of the existence of a noodle house in salinas, though skeptical when I realized the location. Parking and walking up to this location I was still skeptical... However upon opening the door I realized that it was a decent sized noodle house hiding in that dilapidated strip mall. The woman that helped us was very kind, asking us if we had visited the location before and where we were from (apparently it's obvious that I'm relatively new to town). We opted for take- out since I am just starting to recover from a nasty flu bug. Chicken pho and some house fried rice and within the promised 10 minute wait we were on our way home. I liked how there were plenty of "fixings" for the pho and that they came on the side (including the noodles). The broth was tasty and the veggies were fresh. The chicken had a minimal amount of fat, which was a happy surprise. James loved the fried rice and I had a bit of it too... It was tasty for sure. I am really glad that we didn't judge this book by it's cover! For 15 bucks we are happily fed with lunch for tomorrow! read more

The Pho was fair, had a large number 0, seafood Pho and there were 3 very small shrimp and some calimari, that was it. It was essentialy just a large bowl of broth and noodles. My guests had the lunch specials, Kung pao shrimp and Mongolian Beef and rated them a 5 ona 1-10 scale. read more

when we crave pho, this is the place... it's the only place in salinas that makes it. besides, we know the owners. we just had the usual delivery last night. a large #16 with extra meatballs for hubby, chicken and egg with rice for me, and salt and pepper shrimp as an appetizer. we don't deviate much from this. though the house special fried rice, mandarin chicken, foil wrapped chicken, and iced coffee are among the other menu items we enjoy. read more

I grew up in San Jose where there is a Pho place on every corner. This place has DELICIOUS pho. Boyfriend and I ordered #15 small pho (brisket and beef ball) 2 plates.. One Mongolian beef and the other beef and broccoli with a Side of white rice and an order of egg rolls and a tai tea and coke. Total was about $38 dollars. Everything we had was yummy. The guy that greeted us was awesome. I didn't catch his name but he was cracking jokes and spoke to customers with a little bit of Spanish. He was super cool. This place is clean too. I used their restroom and it's clean and smells good. I would definitely recommend this place. Food came out quickly and THEY DELIVER!! hell yeah. read more

I ordered pho and it was terrible specially the broth. I ordered large and my wife ordered small compared the two and it was same only difference is the size of the bowl and not enough meat. I think they're getting confused on how the food should taste either Chinese or Vietnamese. read more

Food is good but recommend getting take out as the restaurant is not clean. The staff are friendly, the menu has plenty of variety and the vietnamese options were particularly pleasing. However, if you look up at the ceiling you can see there has been quite a bit of water damage and there is a smell associated with that. I used the one bathroom they have to serve the restaurant and my feet stuck to the floor, the sink was dirty and there was a cobweb the size of a volleyball in the upper corner of the ceiling. read more

Really decent pho for Salinas. I've only eaten the pho here (veg noodle soup) but it's worth your time if you're in the area. Small restaurant with a pretty basic interior, and can get really busy around the lunch hour. read more

Alright food. Could've gone somewhere else for better food. And the fact that when I call to make a delivery they always say they can't because they are to busy. Which is so annoying. If you offer delivery then delivery but if you don't then change it. Or they'll simply tell you to pick up the food. This has happened to be three times already. Not impressed. read more

I had never ordered here before so I ordered food to go and it was not good whatsoever. I ordered two orders of Pho soup and it was lukewarm at best with broth that lacked flavor. I ordered bbq fried rice and it was nothing special. But the beef and broccoli was inedible. It was in a sauce that was over powered with bamboo shoots. It smelled bad and the meat was not good. The only semi-good thing was the egg rolls. I spent approximately $60 and will never go back. read more
