I ordered the beef stew with egg noodle soup, and it came with a generous amount of tender beef and a really flavorful broth. Their pho broth is also excellent, and the meatballs are delicious. One of my favorite things was the sautéed chili oil they put on the table--it added such a great kick to the soup! The avocado smoothies were fresh, creamy, and not overly sweet. This place is really good. Fast service. Clean and inviting ambiance. The food was delicious. The Ramen noodle (Mi) had a nice bouncy texture. Chicken Wings were nice and crispy. It didnt have any seasoning on it, but the sauce made up for it a lot. The Vermicelli noodle bowl (bun thit nuong) was fresh and tasty. Good amount of veggies in it to make you feel healthy lol. This place actually surprised me so much. Was looking for a late-night eat in Salinas and thank you Yelp for this wonderful suggestion. The place was quite big and we were able to get seated immediately. The prices overall compared to the Bay Area was very affordable which we were happy about. I will say because only one person was working the entire room, after we took our order the food took some time to come but that's understandable given there's only one waiter. I ordered the Dac Biet Xe Lua (Pho) and it was fantastic. The portion sizes were huge with all different cuts of beef in there. I really appreciate the broth as there was a hint of sour-ness inside and rich meaty flavor. The noodles also seemed never-ending. Had a really good experience at Thanh Loi Noodles on a random Sunday evening. Weather was cool, perfect soup weather. I went with my usual Pho Tai, as I do at most pho restaurants. The broth was tasty and didn't make me thirsty later, which meant little to no MSG was added. My tastebuds are ultra sensitive to MSG. The thinly sliced beef was plentiful, as well as their noodles. In fact, I didn't finish the noodles, which is rare. Shared an order of fried spring rolls and they had just the right crisp without all the oil. Service was so-so/ok, I don't really take that into consideration unless it's truly horrific. Food comes fairly quickly, restaurant was clean, so were the restrooms, and plentiful parking, what's not to like? I've always gotten the same two things and it's never been over $20. This time I was charged more and I asked why and the owner yelled at me and said taxes were not put in yet, and Regardless coming a week ago and not getting charged the same amount. I was enjoying my food then saw the guy in the front clean up a table and pick stuff up from the floor and then proceed to make a drink and place a straw in the cup without changing his gloves or washing his hands. He also saved untouched veggies from one table and took it to the back. I know he didn't throw it away in the back because he had a trash bag next to him for everything else that was eaten. She kept asking me what number I wanted when I asked if they would do just slices of beef in my soup. This was a great mom and pop restaurant with very authentic flavors. My wife has been to Thailand and she even vouches for the quality of food. Stopped by for some pho on my mini road trip and stumbled upon this place for some pho that had one guy running the show, taking orders and waiting tables. Ordered pick up. During pick up, we asked for sriracha and hoisin sauce for our pho and he said he mixed it and we asked for it separated not mixed but he denied us of sriracha and hoisin sauce separated. Once we pulled $1 out, his attitude switched up. Word of advice, not everyone wants the sauces mixed. We like to mix ours since we don't know the ratios of how much you put together in a little container. When we're traveling we always look for a good bowl of hearty pho to end a trip and take us home. We came here on way home from Pismo craving for Vietnamese food, and this place did not disappoint! We all ordered pho with two appetizers (tau hu ky and goi cuon). Food was delicious and hit the spot. The spring rolls (goi cuon) were refreshing and the peanut sauce is dead on - it was perfect! The pho was good, too! The veggies were clean and fresh. Prices were very reasonable compared to San Jose. The Vietnamese cafe sua da was just right. I had the soda xi muoi (salted plum in sparkling water) which was also refreshing. The owner is nice too. He quickly brought us our drinks and order. Restaurant is clean and roomy.
