Food is excellent. The service is fine. Ambiance - small place tucked in a corner next to a nail salon. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and a bowl of the broth from the pho they make. All under 10$...delicious. I see customers ordering and picking up- not just a plate but multiple plates. Reasonably priced- great food. A must try if you are in the area.

Wonderful little hole-in-the-wall Pho and noodle shop! Ambiance is so cute, the murals lining the wall are charming and the service is wonderful and fast. Dined in on a Monday afternoon and was taken care of extremely quickly. The food came out fast, and the Pho broth was delicious, and the pricing is super super super reasonable!! Excited to come back whenever I'm in the area.

I'm going to have to keep coming back here to explore their menu. The Shrimp Papaya Salad and the Bun Bo Hue were both a hit for lunch. Service is fast (a necessity at lunch) and the portions are hearty.

This divy, diner-style, mom-n-pop Vietnamese restaurant serves one of best pho soups I've ever had! Their generous portions will leave you wishing you opted for the stretchy pants. On top of great food, their service is warm and friendly - just what you'd expect from a family-run restaurant.

Bun bo hue to go. Broth not pictured. Nice flavor and meats but missing the traditional pork blood

We were staying in a hotel in town during our visit to the Monterey Bay aquarium. This place was so good that we ordered takeout three times. They were friendly and accommodating with substitutes that we requested. Decent prices, portion size and their grilled chicken and broth didn't taste overly salty or sweet like some other Vietnamese places. Will return to try other dishes when we're in the area!

First time here and we were surprised to see how busy this place is. Food was delicious and inexpensive. Waitress was okay, but with the food being exceptionally good we'll be back.

I always get the grilled beef rice plate. Beef is very flavorful and tender. Service is great. Ambiance is just ok. The only thing that l can't recommend is their wonton soup. It's not that good. It has more veggies than the wonton. Lol It doesn't tastes like a wonton soup at all.

Solid but unspectacular. Combo pho came with meatball, brisket, flank, and tendon. Good amount of meat. Service was good.

One of the best fried rice options out here! Very good bang for your buck. I highly recommend the pork fried rice!

I got the stir fried egg noodles with shrimp, pork, and chicken. It was very flavorful and needed no other condiments.

Best fried tofu! Soup is pretty good too. Clean and friendly place. Does not open on Wednesdays which is unusual but totally fine.

The addition of extra steak on the side made it even more satisfying the meat was tender, plentiful, and really boosted the overall heartiness of the bowl. Super comforting and filling without weighing me down. The shrimp spring rolls were another highlight rolled tightly with fresh herbs, crisp veggies, and just the right amount of shrimp. They tasted refreshing and balanced, perfect with the dipping sauce. You could tell everything was made fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Our food came out quickly even as the restaurant started to get busy. Ambiance was bright and welcoming, with nice modern lighting features at the entrance that gave the place a lively, yet relaxed feel. It's clearly a popular spot, since it filled up quickly after we arrived.

Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score. Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.

From the moment I walked in, the service began with a bad start. The staff were chatting and joking behind the counter and too distracted to notice me. I had to grab a menu myself and ask in a loud tone if I could sit anywhere just to get their attention. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come by. I ordered a boba drink and pho with brisket. The server returned after another 8 minutes to say they were out of both the boba flavor I wanted and the brisket. After I reordered, the replacement boba arrived extremely sweet -- basically tasted like watered-down sugar syrup with almost no tea flavor. The pho was even more disappointing.. the broth was watery and bland, there was very little beef, and the bowl was light on noodles and toppings. It felt like a shadow of what they used to serve. It's sad to see a spot that was once one of the best pho places in Salinas (in my opinion) decline this sharply. The restaurant was unusually empty, and the few other customers looked just as unimpressed. I understand rising food and restaurant operating costs, but cutting quality this much will only drive more people away. I rarely leave negative reviews and I don't consider myself to be such a picky eater, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back.
