Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff or maybe my family isn't that adventurous. We ordered dumpling, spring roll and potstickers to start. This good was very scallion heavy. A hard taste for children to handle in excess. We ordered the pinapple fried rice, and two noodle dishes. The rice was good but had curry in it- odd for pineapple rice. The first noodle dish was what they told me was the closest to lo mein (which my kids love) but it was nothing like lo mein and it was called yaka Saba and was considered the Japanese noodle dish. Then we got the Singapore noodles which again had a curry flavor that wasn't listed on the menu. Overall, it was a miss for our family. This place is trying to be a real sit-down restaurant, but is more of a fast casual type of place in terms of decor, service and food. For the price, there are certainly better options in the area. I recently moved here and have been craving my pad see ew I use to get in DC. I must say that I think I've found my new favorite spot to satisfy my cravings! The pad see ew was awesome! The noodles were the wide thick kind that I love and seemed very fresh. The only negative is that they also put baby corn and mushrooms in the dish which aren't typically in it but the overall flavor was there. I have to disagree with some previous reviews regarding service. We were there on a Friday around 6pm and had a table in the corner and prompt service from our waitress. We finally found some tasty soup dumplings in the area and I'll head back for those alone. Also, having visited Thailand for a month and enjoying every single meal, we were thrilled to find Khao Soi on the menu. Was it as good as the spot our taxi driver took us to in Chiang Mai? I had been craving drunken noodles and wanted to try this place out. It is a very tiny place with only a few tables but the food was hot, tasty and the service was fast. I was in and out of there in about 25 minutes which I thought was pretty good for a sit down restaurant. The drunken noodles were very good, a little greasier or saucier than I am used to but still very good. The dish had a good kick to it and was very flavorful as well. I've been eating here since they opened. I did not grow up in Southeast Asia but have been there and traveled throughout and FYI the street food in Thailand is not only safe but some of the best to be found! The food at Noodle is inexpensive by most standards and not exactly the same as being in Thailand but really people.... We are in White Plains NY..... It is good compared to any other I've eaten in the USA, East Coast to West, North to South. My personal favorite is the Soup Buns and they are simply BRILLIANT!!! If anyone can tell me where to find a better soup bun I want to hear it! My wife and kids love the Pad Thai and the staff are friendly. It's small and often hard to get a table if you are headed there at standard dinning times but never been disappointed with the food or service. Love the bubble teas too!!!! read more

This is one of the better Asian offerings in Westchester County. The star of the show are the soup dumplings, which are offered plain or with crab garnish. Other appetizers are comme ci-comme ca, but I would plump for the mushroom and vegetable dumplings if they run short of the xiao long bao. The big bowl soups are also very good with the roast duck and wonton being my choice. Pho is well prepared but lacks the accoutrements you would get in a Vietnamese restaurant. Pad Thai and khao soi are good choices for main courses. The service is attentive and pleasant although often they are frazzled, as the place is crowded. It's great that this little place exists here in White Plains, because it's within walking distance of my apartment, and when I need a hot noodle soup fix, I don't have to trek all the way into the City. The restaurant is really small, and has about 10 tables of seating. While it mainly specializes in Chinese food, there's also a little bit of Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese offerings -- which makes sense, given that they need to be all things to all people, in order to survive in White Plains. I ordered the BBQ pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup, which also came with a vegetable green. It was a nice portion, and tasted light and refreshing. My only complaint is, the soup was really bland. I hope they fix it so that there's more flavor in the broth. Definitely will come back to sample their other dishes. Just thankful this place exists here. read more

The Xiao long bao or soup dumpling was amazing. I love them! The Pad Thai was a good version. The service was mixed. The waitress Jenny was nice and efficient. The manager, Victor, was terse and rude. I ordered the Pad Thai and was charged a certain price and I thought I would be charged something else. The menu confused me. I called the manager over and offered my opinion nicely. He reacted rudely and made me feel poor for trying to help with my advice. Go for soup dumpling.. They are impossible to find outside of china towns throughout cities and are as good or better than other restaurants in the city. Next time I'll try the Pho. Pork Soup Buns, Pork Soup Buns, Pork Soup Buns. Haven't had anything else I'm simply stuck on the Buns! I used to have to make a special trip downtown for these style dumplings and have gone as far as queens to make it happen. Did I mention the Pork Soup Buns? Service has always been pleasant. I've both, eaten in and gotten take out from Noodle+ regularly since they opened. I have found the food to be exceptional, especially given the range of things they offer from Thai to Chinese to Taiwanese offerings. Their soups, appetizers and entrees all feed the eyes with their beauty as much as their deliciousness feeds our tastebuds and our souls. Truly tasty food. Then why two stars? For two reasons: 1. I never can go there during work week lunch hours because they're so crowded (goody for them! SRSLY!) I'd wait forever for a table; and 2. To phone in an order is dodgy at best. Half the time when I call, regardless of which of the two numbers I dial, there's some weirdness and you get an auto prompt saying "the person ... isn't available," so when I dial the second number it just rings and rings and no one picks up. Then on the OFF CHANCE someone picks up, they put the phone down and forget about you being on the phone, waiting to place an order. To me, the wok garlic (I get with beef and ask them to make it spicy) is truly the very best garlicky dish I've ever had. I could rhapsodize about it. It's TRULY that good, but if (phone) technological glitches or poor phone service stands in the way of my being able to order and enjoy my food, it's going to be difficult for me to give these people my hard earned money. I was looking forward to trying this place after reading all the positive reviews. I was especially excited for the soup dumplings, since I wouldn't have to trek to Manhattan to get them anymore. I ordered the scallion pancakes. They were too doughy and super oily. After 2 pieces, i felt my mouth was coated in grease, so stopped eating. The soup dumplings were mediocre. Nothing to write home about. The flavor seemed off and not authentic. Also, ordered the wonton noodle soup. Somewhat bland and just so-so. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have been here, and is a good place to drop into for lunch on a blustery cold day in White Plains. It is tucked away off Main St. across from the city center so you may walk right past. How is the F.S.A.? (Food, Service, Atmosphere) Food: Asian cuisine here, but the main focus is soup based dishes. Pho, rice noodles, ramen etc - they have it. They also have dumplings and other apps. This time around I have the ramen with shrimp. I thought it was very good. Big bowl with plenty of ramen, shrimp, & veggies. Not too salty, and very warming. They also have bubble teas on the menu - I have never had, but I intend to try next time around. Service: It was ok? To the point I suppose. Atmosphere: It is a small restaurant that does not take reservations. A cute, modern little place. I would suggest coming here for lunch, and do so after the rush, so you do not have to wait for a table. It was an extremely hot day and I walked over to grab a meal i ordered and paid for at my desk. When I picked up they seemed really busy, and the staff appeared a little annoyed. I shrugged it off and got back and saw they missed a whole part of my lunch special. I called and was told that they could only give me a credit or i could pick up the rest of my order. I didn't want to walk in the sun again for their own mistake. I eventually got to speak to the manager and after i asked, they refunded my order. Aside from service issues, the food was pretty decent. I wish there was more tofu in the yellow curry I ordered. The Thai iced tea wasn't as flavorful as the other places I've had it. I think the manager handled the situation pretty decently. I recommend this place but I'd also recommend being diligent about asking if they put everything in. read more

I love Noodle Plus!!! First of all, could that wall of kids eating noodles be any cuter? What better welcome than to walk into a restaurant craving noodles and seeing that wall! The servers are also very welcoming and attentive! Whether it be sitting down for bubble tea catching up with a friend or grabbing a quick meal, Noodle Plus is definitely one of my top go-to spots in White Plains. I would say it's the best Thai-Chinese food in the area! Their dumplings are THE best!! You also have to try their Xiao Long Bao and any of their Thai noodle dishes. I went to Noodle+ for lunch. The food was good but the service left much to be desired. The place is very small and every table was taken when I got there. I waited for less than five minutes for a table. I ordered the lunch special which is a drink, an appetizer, and an entree. I could barely hear the guy who took my order - I got the impression that he felt like he was bugging me or something. I did order my food, and it came out fairly fast. However, I got the entree well before the appetizer. In fact, I was almost through eating when they brought it out. Nobody ever checked back with me to see how the food was after having it delivered to my plate. My drink was never refilled. I got the impression that the staff there was a bit overwhelmed, though with only about 8 or 9 tables (and half of those being two-tops) in the whole place I don't see how that's possible. When I waited tables, that was my section every night. The food was good. Very tasty and seemed fresh. If the service were better I'd give this place 4 stars, but as it is, three stars it is. read more

"Prepackaged?" My girlfriend softly scowled. She had been looking forward to her bubble tea for quite some time. She and I found generally favorable reviews for Noodle+ (and Bubbletea) and as such, we decided to spend a Saturday evening here. We were left with much to be desired. My Beef Pad See-Ew was very good and the portions were healthy. Her Thai Spicy basil was OK - mayybbee just a bit too much basil. But that's not what really got us. We ordered soup (the Tom Yum was 'YUM' - that's lame, I know), and before we even had a few minutes with the soup, my meal had arrived. Hers followed five minutes later. The timing was not desirable. How could something still irk my mild-mannered girlfriend? The questions flooded: How could the bubble tea be prepackaged? How could they be out of tapioca bubbles? Is this how the bubble tea always comes? Prepackaged jelly bubble tea? Is this how this place really operates? It was a conundrum. We will definitely give this place another shot simply because we feel it has potential. Maybe the dreary night left everyone in a lackadaisical mood. Just a few tips - it's a small place tucked in a tiny plaza directly across from Atlanta Bread Co. Okay so today was the first day I ever ventured to Noodle Plus and let me tell you... I was shocked.. First of all I heard soooo many mixed reviews about this place so I was skeptical but I also really wanted pork buns and couldn't leave my office, so naturally I ordered pork buns from them despite the rumors and boy they were delicious and totally 100% hit the spot.. Definitely planning on going back for more soon! I can't speak for anything else on the menu, but I know a few people in my building get the soup and pad tai. Anyhow, pork buns make the best hungover/feel good food and I am so happy I can get a good one not too far away from where I live! (P.S. Surprisingly, this might be the best pad thai I have had in the area. There is a thai restaurant down the street with cheaper lunch prices but the food isn't as great! The pad thai was perfect! I requested extra sauce and spices so it was just right for me. The lychee bubble tea paired greatly with my meal. As far as the service... it was pretty empty when I went in around 11:30am on a week day. The ladies were really nice and I even entered my order wrong online so after I received my order they had to remake it without egg and there was no fuss at all. Did NOT have the right seasoning to resemble Thai Drunken Noodles, so my tastebuds were a bit baffled. However, I should've known better than to expect any better in a 'fusion' restaurant. (I was craving Thai so much that night, I was willing to take the risk.) In any case, the reason we will not be coming back EVER is that our waitress was inattentive to the point she seemed to have one foot out the door. It was approaching closing time, and it looked like her boyfriend was there to pick her up. (We know this because she spent more time talking and making eye contact with HIM than with us, the CUSTOMERS.) Bit of a Noodle- unfortunately. It's a neat little spot, though a bit claustrophobic, and uncomfortable with a group of people waiting to be seated right behind you as you eat. Service was fine for us, but I did notice the table next to us having some issues, including not getting an ordered beverage for our entire time next to them. As for food, we got the dumpling combo, which was okay, some we're a bit chewy. Thai iced tea/coffee were good, but that should be harder to mess up :) we tried the roasted duck and BBQ pork w/wontons noodle soup; this was unfortunately a big let down. The broth was flavorless, the noodles were overdone, the pork was very tough, and the duck was more bone than meat... Teeny place in a non-descript location on Main St. It gets crowded fast. The service was pleasant, but unpolished. The food was mostly OK. The soup dumplings were very good. I'm half Chinese and grew up eating home cooked authentic Chinese food, so I'm very picky about going out for Chinese food. The dishes here are decent but it isn't just Chinese. There's a mix of Japanese and Thai food here, as well. The noodles are Japanese uodon noodles or pad Thai. There are no Chinese noodles on the menu. The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were great - just the right size to fill a spoon and eat whole. The roast duck wasn't good, it was all bone and very little meat. The fried pork dumplings were crisp and served hot. Waitstaff here is not knowledgable about the food or what things are called, so don't expect to come in and ask for things unless you speak to one of the Chinese guys in back. I gave three stars mainly because of the duck and the lack of knowledge of the menu items. I was hoping for an authentic little spot but this is not it. read more
