I need to change my review of Noodle+. A year ago I loved going to this restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious at a great price. Sadly the quality has gone way down. I kept hoping it was just a coincidence or they were having an off day, but the last 4 times I have been there the food was bad. I found multiple hairs in the food, the shrimp in the shumai still had the black line down the back which is poop (it wasnt cut off and cleaned properly), the curry tasted as if they reheated frozen left overs Ect. It was really disappointing because I really liked this place, but we decided to never go back again. read more

The dine in lunch specials are a terrific value and the out door option in the Spring and Summer is great. For me, walking down to NOODLE+ is always an awesome choice. Decent little spot in White Plains. It's one of my 6-year old Goddaughter's favorite spots, so I had to oblige on my last visit up there. This is the first time I'm reviewing a restaurant I've never actually eaten at. I can see now why there have been multiple complaints about the service. I just tried to place a pick up order and at first it sounded like she wasn't even going to take my order by phone. Then, I asked for the shrimp summer roll without the shrimp. This should be a freshly made roll and in many thai restaurants comes standard as a vegetarian roll. I was told that it was impossible to do without the shrimp. I have no idea how that would not be possible. This leads me to believe either they just don't care about getting orders, in which case I'll gladly patronize another business or these are made well in advance. Such a shame.. other thai places in the immediate area don't offer a few of the menu items that I love that Noodle+ does. read more

I had the Tom Yum soup and it was really good, the food was really good. The down side to the whole thing was I don't think they were prepared for the overwhelming number of people that came in today. I have high hopes for this place because the food was really its just they were not ready for the number of people that came, they took a while with all the orders and even mixed up our orders. This USED to be my favorite place to eat. The food has gone way down. the portions and mostly the quality. The Tom Yum soup was so flavorful and now is bland and seems not too fresh. The staff was always friendly but inexperienced but that was tolerable for good food. I went earlier with my boyfriend today. We both ordered chicken pad Thai, I wanted mine a little spicy but once I tried just a tiny bit with my chopsticks my face got super red and my tongue felt like it was on fire. The pad Thai was extremely hot.. to the point where it was uneatable. I told the lady at the register I couldn't eat it, it was way to hot. She immediately starts to get an attitude saying how I asked for it to be spicy. Right after she even told me I had to pay for 3 pad Thais ?! The customer service in this place is HORRIBLE! At the end I told her I'm not paying for 3 pad Thais. After that I waited for my pad Thai for almost 30 minutes and it turned out they weren't making me a new plate !?!!! I asked her why won't they make my food. The lady at the register then started to say" well what will I tell my boss"? The whole staff needs to have manners and more respect. read more

If you are into good food and bad service this is the place to go! I'm not one to write reviews but I am actually in the restaurant writing this. I ordered their Pad Thai which was pretty good, not out of this world. My problem, as mentioned, was the service. The waitress was not warm as soon as we came in and she took our order with a horrible attitude. I asked her for hot sauce and she again did it with a bad attitude. The worst part was, when I asked her for soy sauce she actually sighed out loud. I understand some not being warm but she acted completely different with other customers! I went here for the first time on a Sunday night expecting there to be nobody else there- I was wrong! The place was packed tight with people waiting and the tables outside were full. When we got a table, it took a little while for the waitress to come over oven though she only has 6 total tables haha We put our order in (Pork + Veggie Dumplings and Pot Stickers = soooo good) and they were out of the Stewed Beef!!!! I went there for that! But it was Sunday night, so they probably sell out of it and move on. I ordered the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup Bowl. It was pretty good. Needed some salt, and could have used a little more noodles, but overall I enjoyed it. I finished with my first try of Bubble Tea. I'm not a huge fan of it. The little bubble balls were interesting but with no flavor that I could tell. The drink was sweet but I wouldn't get another one as it's not my cup of tea ;) The place is very clean and pleasing to the eye. The worst part is its just small. The service as you have read is very slow! Now I don't know if this is due to the takeout orders that create some confusion, or if they are just slow. Many people came in for take-out while I was there so there was a lot of movement. It was sort of annoying. Overall I enjoyed it more than a Chinese take out place and more than a high end Asian fusion restaurant. I'll be back again. read more

0 star. I have been in this restaurant for past 1 year. But my yesterday experience is the worst exp. Seems the staff is changed now. They have reduced the quantity. And on top of all this,now they have started charging tip of 18% by default irrespective of 2 persons or 6 person. Yesterday we 4 frnds went for lunch and they charged 18% tip and when we refused to give the new girl on counter talked so badly and started fighting. She was so arrogant. It seems this restaurant is going down and someone else took over and they have applied this new trick of making money rather improving food quality and service. I fully enjoyed a late lunch at here and I have come now to rave! I enjoyed the drunken noodles with mixed seafood that were perfect! They give so much seafood and the ingredients mix perfectly. My mother had the shrimp and duck wonton soup that was recommended on yelp. She said it was glorious with full flavor. It is a bit strange the seasoning but it is yummy! We finished with fried ice cream which was amazing! The place had Thai customers so they know this is real ethnic Thai food. The prices are very reasonable and they do take out and delivery. The place is tiny with limited seating but people mostly come in to take out so it isn't much of a bother. The food is kind of slow but that's because they make it fresh so it's worth it! I love it and I hope they do really well and maybe expand their space. read more

I was excited to try this place, having read all the positive reviews. Maybe it was an off-night but I can't see giving this place an average of more than 3 stars. I gave 2 stars, which is basically 1 for service and 3 for food. The food was decent. It is not as good as places in Manhattan, but since there is a lack of noodle bars in the area, I can see why people would be excited about it and want to return. I will not be returning as the food did not outweigh the negative effect of bad service. The place seemed very disorganized service wise. From the moment we entered, nothing seemed to go right and it just got worse over the course of the evening. I had dinner tonight after reading several positive reviews on Yelp (along with a few negative). I don't think I'll be back. I ordered two items: pan fried scallion pancakes and Singapore noodles. The pancakes were indeed crispy, as noted by other reviewers. However, they were totally tasteless. They were reminiscent of toasted white bread. Oh, and the special "dipping sauce..." Awful! As admitted by the staff, just soy sauce. The saltiest soy sauce I've ever tasted! I asked for alternative sauce which they provided...not much better. For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone could walk away saying they enjoyed those pancakes! If you want really good scallion pancakes and dipping sauce, go to Asian Temptation around the corner on Mamaroneck Ave. or Chopstix in Scarsdale. I specifically ordered the Singapore noodles without bell peppers. I told the waiter three times and I saw him write it down on his order pad. When the meal came out red and green peppers were front and center along with the noodles... It has been my experience that "Singapore" when associated with noodles denotes the fact that curry is included in the dish. Curry, is not included in the description on the menu. I knew, but, for the unsuspecting, Noodle Plus should have more accurate descriptions. There was another ingredient also cooked into the dish but not mentioned in the description...Sugar!!! I didn't order a "dessert" noodle dish, I ordered a dinner dish. I've had plenty of singapore chow mei fun in my day. It's never tasted sweet. In my mind, Noodle Plus batted zero. So, you might ask: "why one star?" Because, the servers--and staff in general--were very nice, attentive and accommodating. The disappointment I experienced had nothing to do with them. They get five stars, the kitchen gets minus four...equals plus one. Caveat emptor! read more

You have no idea how much I love this restaurant! As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was immediately helped by a smiling waitress. She directed me towards a table, but I didn't want to sit near the window. I didn't want to be rude and ask, so I pulled out the chair and sucked it up. She actually NOTICED my discomfort and offered to move me. Right away, she placed water on my table and took my order, not missing a beat. I've never witnessed such amazing service, especially since there were only three waiters there! Not only were the waiters efficient, the food tasted fantastic. I am the type of person who hates trying new things. The waitress suggested trying the House Fried Rice-- I fell in love. It was filled with just the right amount of flavor and was addicting. The portions were generous too! I even had enough to take some home. I am reading some of these other reviews and maybe they have it all wrong, because I had a totally positive experience at Noodles+. I definitely recommend this to everyone in the area! read more

Shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup hit the spot. Noodles were perfectly chewy but the wonton wrappers could've been cooked less (they were a little soggier than I prefer). Best of all, it did not leave me feeling thirsty! Crab and pork steamed buns (xiao long bao) while good in its own right, was no Joe's Shanghai. I'll tell you why: 1. wrapper was thicker and not as chewy as Joe's, 2. crab meat not infused with pork meat but sat on top of dumpling instead, 3. pork was too large (I like to slurp down my dumplings). I'm a tough critic, but this place is legit and I will go back to try other noodle soups. read more

Purpose of visit: saturday night out with the family. Tiny little place that can get very crowded. We ordered soup dumplings which were pretty good when hot. My beef noodle soup dish was okay. Not spicy at all and the beef was a little tough. Missing a little flavor. The pho ordered by my kids was a hit. They liked the meat balls and sliced meat. Overall a decent place for an early dinner. I was disappointed with Noodle+. Some of the Yelp reviews were good and I was looking forward to the Pho. We ordered pork & vegetable dumplings, pork buns, and pho. I think what they brought out first was pork buns, though they really seemed more like pork dumplings and were just OK. Then we got the pho. We had to ask why we didn't get out other appetizer, they seemed confused about our order, though we couldn't have been clearer. The pho was... Not good. bland. The meat in it looked unlike any meat I'd ever seen before and didn't taste much like anything either. We finally got our other appetizer, I guess it was the pork and vegetable dumplings. They were just OK also. Sadly, I don't think we'll be going back, I really wanted to like this place, but nothing there made me want to return... And mystery meat is never a good thing. read more

Service and management was very poor. Will never return. We placed a vegetarian order and they brought the wrong dish with shrimp. After the manager realized that it was the wrong soup he simply removed all the shrimp( or so he thought) and returned the soup to the table. When I was half way finished with my soup I realized that there was a peice of shrimp left at the bottom of the container. After explaining that I don't eat shrimp due to religious reasons they argued that since I drank it I needed to pay for it. This was so disappointing. I told them that if I didn't eat it because of an allergy they could have jeopardized my health! They then decided to give us a 25% discount on the meal.
