If you are doing Thai, food, please learn the proper way to cook Pad Kee Mow! with what u are making, you will only be able to sell to those who never eat at a y other Thai place! I came here to catch up with a friend (in the middle of a pandemic!) and loved my experience. The restaurant is operating and following social distancing guidelines. They will seat you away from other people if you want to dine in, and all the workers are wearing masks. For our meal, we started with the crab cream cheese rangoons which were quickly eaten as they were so creamy with a nice crunchy shell (yum!). Our entrees followed soon after which were the crispy chicken green curry (level 4 spice) and pad thai chicken (level 3 spice). I was absolutely mesmerized by the appearance of the food and the plates were huge. One dish can easily feed two people (if you order the dinner portion) and we definitely had leftovers. I fell in love with the crispy chicken green curry. If you like chicken katsu, this is the dish for you. The chicken was so crispy and tender, and the curry was a wonderful, flavorful complement. I would order this dish again. The pad thai chicken was good and tasteful as well. I will say neither of the entrees were actually spicy, but I do eat spicy food all the time. I also ordered a thai tea with no ice which I enjoyed, but I have had better thai teas at other places like boba shops. 2016-I've eaten here before and the food is really decent. Today I'm Trying to place a take out order and no one has acknowledging me after 7 mins standing in the midst of several workers.. Left and didn't place order after a customer waiting told me he had been waiting for over 30 mins to pick up and order he called in. This restaurant was clean, kid friendly, and the staff and customer service was really good! I ordered the pad Thai, wish I got spice level 3 because it was not that spicy for me. The pad Thai was alright I felt like there was more other infrients than the actual noodles! My sister ordered the spicy chicken bowl. I believe it was like siracha chicken. It was AMAZING! It was like hot and sour chicken but without the sour haha! It was served without rice and so tasty. She ordered spice level 1 and it was very spicy so I suggest sticking to that level! The decor is very unique. It's very modern and clean - white washed wood and small decorative plants. Good natural lighting from many glass windows. The restaurant is not too big, and is occupied by all tables. So it looks pretty crowded. Be aware. There is a line during lunch hour. So come early to beat the rush. Looks like there is one waitress doing hostess seating, ordering, and bussing the tables, so it's quite apparent they are understaffed. I do see a hiring sign outside in case your'e interested. Despite how much she was doing, the waitress was very patient and nice. We ordered a few items: roti chicken, pad thai, and a curry chicken combo. The food all tasted very delicious, not greasy not all to stay on the healthy side. We asked for medium hot for our food. It was quite mild. So if you like your food spicy hot, ask for more peppers (3 or 4). I have to say that the plate presentation was really beautiful. The garnishes of the green cilantro and red carrot flakes at the top made the food visually more appetizing. The Thai tea was also great - creamy and smooth. A unique thing is they wrapped the drink in a plastic holder with a handle, which I had never seen before. I think it is intended for people to take it out to finish, so they don't have to finish up the drink in a hurry. We'll come again, but most likely not during the rush hour. read more

First time here on Friday evening. There was no wait, we got a table right away. Service was attentive and food was good. Here's what we got: - papaya salad with peanuts: good but missing more flavor than the ones I'm used to. - Thai spicy basil chicken: I would get this again. It was flavorful but the chicken was minced, which I wasn't expecting. I also asked for no bell peppers but our server forgot. - green curry with crispy chicken: the crispy chicken was like tonkatsu and surprisingly paired real well with the curry. the curry also had carrot and green peas though, which it could have done without. - tempura ice cream w/Cinnamon ice cream: the breading is much like tempura breading and crispy. My family and I have eaten at Noodle Wave more than all other restaurants combined over the the past 15 years. Therefore, it pains me to write this review. The quality of their food has gradually declined to the point where they are now CONSISTENTLY poor. Every meal has some form of issue - bland flavor, poorly cooked, bad quality meat. All wrapped around crap and surly service where they think it os our honor to come to their restaurant. The owner needs to stop opening new stores or offshoots and focus on their core restaurant; go back to what made Noodle Wave great. Till that is done, we are not going back. read more

This is a very small, but very cute restaurant. There's plenty of seating for small groups. The reason I'm rating them one star is because during a global pandemic with Covid-19, with mandated mask requirements, two of their cooks were not covering their nose & mouth with masks. Maybe they don't care about safety and assumed we couldn't see them. They both owned masks, but chose not to wear them properly. One covered his mouth, but his nose was not covered. The other had his mask below his chin. They are preparing people's food! That's the highest risk position in the restaurant! One waitress was coughing slightly, but was wearing a mask. One waitress told a customer who entered the door to wear a mask, yet 2 cooks weren't wearing them. We asked the waitress why cooks weren't wearing masks. Her impromptu response was "maybe because they're cleaning". Huh!?! I'm sure we put her on the spot. She's not responsible for her co-workers behavior. Management, however, is responsible. FYI - they were handling food. We could see them. Mask under the chin are useless and completely unacceptable in food service right now. We debated on whether or not to leave. We had already eaten our appetizer by the time we saw the lack of masks, so we figured we were already exposed to anything airborne, so might as well stay. The service was just ok, but seemed to improve after we complained. Suddenly the waitress' listening skills improved. She told the cooks that a customer complained about them not wearing masks (so it's our fault they should wear a mask?). The menu had many options. The food was.presented beautifully. The food was actually really delicious. Portions were huge. One entree would definitely be enough for two meals. We both had to-go boxes. Prices were good at an average of around $10-12 per entree. If the restaurant had staff concerned about public safety & cleanliness (masks), I would've rated 5 stars. read more

They don't have mussaman curry - big let down. Red & yellow curry is "okay." Green curry is SUPER SWEET and not as expected: should be mildly sweet with spicy or slightly tangy taste. Needs improvement. No veggie pot stickers (pan seared or otherwise). No crispy fried tofu. Veg fried rice is good - but could be better. Thai tea ice cream is nice. Good surprise. So I've been looking for a place to satisfy my Thai craving lately when this place popped up as a suggestion for me to try. I ordered the Pad Ke Mao with spring rolls at a spice level 3. I know the waitress looked at me odd like are you crazy buy I was down for it. The spring rolls came out first and I was in heaven. They remind me of my favorite place that is too far away for me to travel. I devoured them all with great glee. Then came my Pad Ke Mao. I could smell the spice from the dish and hoped I didn't put too much that it would cloud the taste of the dish. I took my first bite and boom flavor then came the spice. I stirred the dish up and was able to eat it without any issues. The spice level was just right for me and the flavors were AMAZING. I would highly suggest coming here and give them a try. I did ask if they had a to go menu and she said no so I'm not really sure what that is about. I came a few weeks later for lunch with a friend and ordered the lunch special. The herb chicken was spot on and I had the Thai Chai ice cream and was amazed how delicious it is. I found this place when I was working when in the area before the pandemic began to make all hell break loose. The food is amazing and the place is always packed!!! I have got the crab fried rice, seafood fried rice, shrimp blankets, egg rolls and crab rangoons. The food is fresh and really good. The crab rangoons have real crab in them. I always call my order in ahead of time so that there is literally no wait. This is one of the best Thai food places that I have had in a while. The flavors as well as the authenticity makes this place solid. I cant wait until I am in the area again so that I can go get some crab fried rice. If you are in the area you definitely have to give them a try if you like Thai food. So I came here in a rainy Saturday dinner and the place was packed but there was luckily a two person table for me and my friend. Our waiter was pretty nice and attentive and took our drink orders quick. Looking through the menu.. We ended up ordering beef pad see ew, shrimp pad Thai, and shrimp tom ka soup. Oh my goodness the soup was SOOO sour it was just inedible to me Tbh. It tasted like lime soup.. The soup was so big but just not the best so me and my friend barely finished it.. The pad see ew was very different. So many random garnishes that took up half of my bowl and had some thick steam veggies (chinese broccoli maybe?) instead of the typical broccoli, egg and carrots that i am used to which were so bitter and not my favoirte. The beef was so chewy and just okay.. I barely finished my meal cause it was not good but I forced myself to eat as much as I could since the price is fairly high for a Thai place. I feel like tbis place is trying to be that fancy, Americanized, upscale type of Thai food which isnt bad but it was very different and did not really match my taste buds. I know many people really like this place and the service was great but I personally just did not like the food at all. Maybe I have bad taste or maybe it really isn't good or real thai food(?) There's just something about Noodle Wave that makes it one of my favorite local Thai restaurants and there are plently to choose from. The inside of the restaurant has a modern interior with bright accents. The service is always really good and attentive. The food is really delicious and very nicely plated. Standouts for me are the Pad See Eww and chicken curry with parata. I always end up ordering a thai tea from here because it's really good and comes in a tall glass. I used to go to the Noodle Wave off of 75 until we found this one. Noodle Wave is our favorite Thai place that I have yet to try another one because it's so good here. (Will only try another Thai restaurants if they have beef sticks, and if you know of one, PLEASE let me know!) I love the shrimp wraps for appetizer. The two dipping sauces goes great with it. The shrimp is wrapped in a wonton wrapper with a green onion inside and its fried. It's sooooo hot when it comes out but oh so good. Be careful with the onion inside because it can be hot! I like to get the Tung Tac noodles with spice level of 4. This is my go to dish here. I love the eggs and peanuts with the crunch of bean sprouts and bok choy. The noodles are not oily and it just is cooked to perfection. The addition of the lime to squeeze on top of the noodles brings everything together. More recently, I've seen more staff here so the wait and turnaround is pretty good. We've always had friendly service. They added a diaper changer to the restroom which I truly appreciate as a parent! read more

I've been coming here every time I'm in town for a couple years now and never had any problems or noticed subpar quality of food. My faves here include both the pad thai and the pad kee mao! Pad thai- a classic and absolutely my favorite pad thai in the city. I could seriously eat this every day (it's that good) and all the flavors are well balanced. Pad kee mao- a little spicier than most other places but still good! They use ground chicken in the dish but are more than willing to use larger pieces if you just ask- I've tried both ways and think they're both equally as good! Overall, delicious food in a clean setting with great service and ample parking. The ambience is good for a date night, a meal with friends, or a family outing. The food is good but nothing unique. We ordered a Thai Herbal Chicken and a Roti Curry (Chicken Medium Spicy). The Thai Herbal Chicken was thin slices battered and fried. The batter was flavored with garlic and herbs. The Roti Curry tasted more like Massaman Curry which is Malaysian and had Chunks of Carrot which gave it a sweetish flavor. The reason for 2 stars was the service. I had placed an online order at their website and paid online too. The order was placed and received by the restaurant at 5:41 PM with the expected delivery window of 6:01 PM to 6:16 PM. Reached the restaurant at 6:06 and the lady at the counter told me that they do not have my order and only when I showed the email confirmation the lady went back to check if it was there. We had a huge party (27 people) and the staff did an amazing job of handling our order and checking up on us to make sure everything was okay. I can't believe they put khao soy on the menu & proceeded to serve the worst bowl of noodles I've ever tasted. The broth was super thick & there's too much ginger in it. It's absolutely horrible. I could feel my arteries clogging while eating this and that's not how it's supposed to be. The broth should be well balanced with a little bit of creaminess. There was almost no chicken in it so it was just a bowl of horrible tasting noodles with gross thick fatty broth. I was so disappointed & don't think I'd come back to try anything else.
