I went to Noodle Wave for lunch with a group of coworkers. The food looked good and I liked Asian food so I had high expectations. The reviews on yelp were ok so I didn't want to get too excited When we arrived we had a large party but only a few people were there. That wasn't a problem. They were flexible and seated us and we ordered before the others arrived. I decided to order with two other coworkers and share. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice and the Fresh Crabmeat Fried Rice. They started off by bringing us a tasty wonton soup with tofu and topped with crispy fried wontons. The Crabmeat Fried Rice was ok. The Basil Fried Rice was spicy and absolutely delicious. I loved it and would definitely recommend it. I added a little spice but couldn't stop eating it. Many other coworkers got this dish and all enjoyed it. The check at the end was an issue because they could only accept a certain amount of payments from a large table. I will come back to Noodle Wave for the Basil Fried Rice! read more

Minus two stars for service, food is amazing. Waited almost 15 mins for someone to come to our table once seated, this is a small restaurant. My partner had to flag someone down to help us, we ordered immediately, food was out promptly which was great. Not once did anyone come to check, we had to get up to ask for water at the bar area. I've eaten a lot of Thai food in DFW area and this place is average or below average. Their meat is 100% halal, yet they don't have any signs posted indicating that. Place was pretty warm so we were not able to enjoy our dinner. If you look, you will see two tiny wall units. I would avoid this place especially in summer. read more

I feel like Noodle Wave has ups and downs. I've been here more than 5 times at least since it's close to work and sometimes I was really happy with food and service but there were also times when I felt the food was bland and service was extremely slow. I always get the Vietnamese soup here. It's got Thai chili in here so it has good hint of spice. It's a unique dish that you can only get at Noodle Wave. Again, the last time I went, the soup was a bit bland but the visit before that, I was very happy with the flavor so I never know what to expect, lol. I placed a pickup order on UberEats and arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later (it advised my order would take 25 min). I arrived at the restaurant and the guy working the front desk advised they were only waiting on one more dish to be complete. I continued to wait patiently as I watched 10 orders be brought to the front. I checked in with the guy at the front desk twice over the span of 30 minutes and he told me they were still working on the order, which was unbelievable. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked the guy to bring my order or cancel. Then a manager came to speak to me advising a "door dasher" already picked my order up. I told him the order was placed on Uber eats for pickup so nobody would have asked for the order but me. He says "we can remake it now, but the order was made and someone took it." It was unacceptable and simply untrue. I looked at every name on each to go order that was brought to the front and my order was never completed. Driving 20 minutes to pick up food, waiting 45 minutes and leaving empty handed to drive 20 minutes back home deserved more than a sorry. I won't be back. read more

My first visit to Noodle Wave! We arrived on Friday night and put my name on the waiting list. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated at a nice clean table. The menu is excellent, with many options for dinner. I like how you can select how spicy you want your dish. I got the Kung Pao Chicken with level 3 spicy, above medium, and just right for me. The menu took a little bit of getting used to due to not having many photos but that's what Googles for. The staff was kind enough to help explain if we had any questions or if we wanted to adjust the heat on spicy dishes. The food and service were both decent at best. Got a lunch special but they didn't have the large flat noodles for the pad kee mao. Everything was pretty flavorless - including the thai tea ice cream. The meal came out to $18 after tax and tip, which is pretty expensive for the quality I received. Went here after a long day of furniture shopping. Cute place, with fun and quirky decor. We were seated quickly, but it took a while for someone to come and take our order. They were hot, crispy, flaky, and the potato and veggie mixture on the inside was full of spice and flavor. I would almost come back just for those! I got the singapore noodles, which were just ok. The noodles were overdone so they were gummy and soft, but the flavor was good. My husband got a yellow curry, which was also just ok. Not bad, not great. We wanted some dessert so we got a custard and some sticky rice with ice cream on top. The desserts were both very good, so it was nice to start and end the meal well. So after I finished, they brought out my entree, which was loaded. They added chopped egg and served with lime. I've never had it with those ingredients, usually only broccoli, and theirs had no regular broccoli at all...but deliciously fresh Chinese broccoli. It was very good and flavorful, not as spicy...I got level 3 on the 5 scale and it was hardly noticeable. The steak was very tender and bursting with flavor.
