We had a great experience! We were greeted at the door as soon as we walked in. It took a few minutes before our order was taken but it was pretty busy. The service was ok and the foo came out fresh & hot in a timely manner. We drove an hour and were not disappointed at all !! It took them a long time to give us the check.. we had to ask for it after 10 minutes of waiting.

Once we were seated, it took over 10 minutes for water to arrive. When we placed our food order, we requested no vegetables, but the dish came with extra vegetables instead. No one checked on us for water refills or paper towels, so we had to get them ourselves from the main table. Overall, it wasn't the best experience--possibly due to being short-staffed at the time.

Food was slightly above average, service was not good - didn't get checked on once. Gave 1 Napkin and no water with a spicy meal, despite me asking for it.

A friend had been raving about this place and I finally got around to trying it tonight! They had huge portions at reasonable prices and were very quick and attentive. Food was great and interior was cute with Ramadan decor and special menu offerings as well. Will defined be back!

Gotta say what an amazing day to eat here, we had been placed on a waiting list for Karahi Boys which was on the other side of the plaza but the wait time became very unreasonable towards false expectations continuously, with a 9 month old we needed to eat and make our drive back home, now here at Noodle One as I drove in the plaza it caught my eye before going to Karahi Boys and I said wow a new Halal restaurant lets check it out some other time but it happen to be today, we were greeted immediately with huge smiles and with an open space restaurant and filled with customers I was very very impressed with the service and how quickly they took care of us, I love the open kitchen concept where you can see the chef's magic making all the noodles by hand, truly an ambiance to see where the chef's prepares your noodles, we ordered the spicy stir fried noodles with chicken and vegetables an absolute delight to start the evening, the star of the evening the Mongolian stir fry sliced beef along with they're Korean BBQ style fried rice, just mwah gotta say everything was phenomenal the complimentary rice for my kiddo to keep busy and the endless smiles and great customer service. 100% recommend for all Halal foodies and or non halal foodies to go enjoy this restaurant!

I tried this place. It was interesting. The actual noodles weren't bad. I should've read the reviews.

So fun, very rich liquid dark chocolate in the middle. Idk if I'd order those again, but they were so fun! Only complaint is I wish they were open later! Would definitely recommend this to the dumpling lovers out there.

First, many of the dishes lacked the authenticity. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour at all and was overwhelmed by the flavor of sesame oil. The black bean noodles tasted like instant noodles you could make at home, and we ended up adding black vinegar ourselves just to bring some acidity and balance to the dish. The sweet chili shrimp also didn't taste fresh. At the end of our meal, we literally said "this tasted like Chinese buffet food." The service and dining environment made the experience even worse. Throughout our meal, we constantly heard dishes being slammed around from servers cleaning tables. At one point, something was dropped so hard that dishes shattered across the floor. A trash cart was parked right next to our booth while we were eating, and the staff even started mopping the floor directly in front of us during the lunch rush. I understand that restaurants often hire seasonal staff during the summer, but proper training is still important. The way the dishes were handled throughout our meal was loud, chaotic, and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy our dining experience. It's unfortunate because our first experience of this restaurant was great, but this visit fell well short of our expectations.

We were greeted right away and the restaurant is welcoming with an assortment of booths and some large round tables. The server was friendly and she provided great service throughout our meal. We started with the steamed dumplings which were honestly middle of the road and we the weakest part of our meal. The entrees were uniformly outstanding. We had the Beef Chow Fun which tasted great and was less oily than versions we have had elsewhere. We also had the combination crispy noodles which were well prepared with tender beef and some great shrimp. We capped it off with the General Tso which was delicious. Yes, completely inauthentic but so tasty!! This restaurant is absolutely one of the best Chinese spots in the DFW area. Highly Reccommended!

Saw this place on Yelp and immediately thought, "There's no way this is good." The name doesn't…read moresound remotely Chinese. But the reviews were suspiciously glowing, so curiosity (and hunger) won. We pulled up and I took one look at the building: older, unremarkable, zero curb appeal. Classic "meh." Inside, several large round tables with lazy Susans, red tablecloths, and Chinese lanterns. They first sat us in a booth but I requested later on to be moved to a large round table since we ordered A LOT. But back to when we first sat in the booth - As a Chinese woman, the second I spotted the older seats with ripped upholstery, it hit me like a culinary prophecy: this place was going to serve me some incredible, authentic Chinese food. I don't know what it is, but there's an inverse law of Chinese restaurants: the less fancy the exterior (and the more the booth looks like it's survived several natural disasters), the better the food. Apparently they skip Instagram-worthy renovations and put the budget where it belongs--on the plate! This is now hands down in my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurant in North Dallas - I can even say it's on the very top. I haven't forgotten about the staff. They deserve 10 stars. Super nice!

The ambiance is okay and unfortunately the restrooms were poorly maintained and smelled bad. Overall the food was just average. The fried pork was not seasoned well, and didn't taste great despite being fried and obviously unhealthy. The black bean noodles were okay and very unidimensional. The noodles did have a good texture and chew. The spicy seafood noodles was also lacking depth of flavor, and it was very underwhelming. My diagnosis: average food with good service.

They…read moreserve the classics -- jja jang myun (black bean noodles) and jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) -- plus other familiar dishes like sweet and sour fried pork. Service: Above average. The servers were kind and hustling nonstop. That said, it looked like they were a bit understaffed for a Saturday lunch rush -- only two employees were handling seating, orders, drinks, and checkout for the whole restaurant. Still, they did their best, and it showed. I tipped generously - well deserved. Ambiance: Clean, nicely decorated, and a fair size space. My party of five was seated quickly with no issues. Food: Unfortunately, this is where things fell flat. The jja jang myun noodles texture and chew were great, but the sauce was underwhelming and lacked depth. The jjampong portion was huge (great value!), but it too was on the bland side -- missing that rich, spicy seafood flavor I was hoping for. The sweet and sour fried pork was just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Dong Bo Sung is fine if you're nearby and craving this type of cuisine -- you'll definitely leave full -- but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'm a bit spoiled by Paik's Noodle, so this one lands at a solid 3 out of 5.
