This place is so cute, with great food and excellent service. My favorite item ended up being the complimentary udon noodle soup special, such a delicious surprise!

I went to Noodle Wave for lunch with a group of coworkers. The food looked good and I liked Asian food so I had high expectations. The reviews on yelp were ok so I didn't want to get too excited When we arrived we had a large party but only a few people were there. That wasn't a problem. They were flexible and seated us and we ordered before the others arrived. I decided to order with two other coworkers and share. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice and the Fresh Crabmeat Fried Rice. They started off by bringing us a tasty wonton soup with tofu and topped with crispy fried wontons. The Crabmeat Fried Rice was ok. The Basil Fried Rice was spicy and absolutely delicious. I loved it and would definitely recommend it. I added a little spice but couldn't stop eating it. Many other coworkers got this dish and all enjoyed it. The check at the end was an issue because they could only accept a certain amount of payments from a large table. I will come back to Noodle Wave for the Basil Fried Rice!

Minus two stars for service, food is amazing. Waited almost 15 mins for someone to come to our table once seated, this is a small restaurant. My partner had to flag someone down to help us, we ordered immediately, food was out promptly which was great. Not once did anyone come to check, we had to get up to ask for water at the bar area. When my partner brought up the issue we were treated differently, given a 20% discount. Will not return to this location based on service, will visit McKinney location instead.

Where do I start . . . Noodle Wave is on another level! Absolute culinary artistry. These recipes are so unique, beautifully infused, masterfully presented, and perfectly seasoned. The dining area is bright and vibrant with clean decor and pops of color. There are great seating options choosing between booths or tables. We have eaten here two days in a row while visiting our grandson and we don't regret it! Our server was the same both days and she was great. Our food came out hot and fresh, literally lacking nothing! Every dish 10/10! Sweet sticky rice

This was the worst sweet sticky rice I had in my life . It was flavorless and waste of money . I was disappointed .

I've eaten a lot of Thai food in DFW area and this place is average or below average. Their meat is 100% halal, yet they don't have any signs posted indicating that. Place was pretty warm so we were not able to enjoy our dinner. If you look, you will see two tiny wall units. I would avoid this place especially in summer.

I go to rumoured salon in the same strip and this place always has an amazing scent wafting out of it. We got the spring rolls with shrimp, crab Rangoon and cashew chicken. Everything was delicious. Service was good. Will eat there again.

Was looking for a thai place for family visiting us from out of country. We decided to dine in instead of our usual take out. Ordered veg Spring rolls, herbal chicken fried rice, pad ke mow for kids, roti curry Spring rolls were crispy and tasted great. Fried rice and noodles were delicious as well. Looks like food has definitely improved here

I took take out. The salmon entree which lacked seasoning came with three different temperatures on the rice, veggies and salmon all in one container. The soup had an over powering flavor which I could not quite describe but with a sweet taste and the soft shell crab was not cleaned before frying it which lacked seasoning. Chicken rolls were ok.

I feel like Noodle Wave has ups and downs. I've been here more than 5 times at least since it's close to work and sometimes I was really happy with food and service but there were also times when I felt the food was bland and service was extremely slow. I always get the Vietnamese soup here. It's got Thai chili in here so it has good hint of spice. It's a unique dish that you can only get at Noodle Wave. Again, the last time I went, the soup was a bit bland but the visit before that, I was very happy with the flavor so I never know what to expect, lol. I'm pretty sure I'll keep going here but hopefully they will be more consistent with their dishes and service.

Amazing!! The food the service was phenomenal! Definitely recommend! Got the glass noodles and they were so good!

Bought take out here and had mixed results. The basil chicken was great, but the Rangoons seemed like their store bought, and the Sesame chicken was terrible. The sesame chicken didn't look like you'd normally get and the next day it had a soup of gelatin, which we threw away. Fried rice seemed nice as it had a fried egg with it Overall I'd go back but steer away from Chinese food.

My first visit to Noodle Wave! We arrived on Friday night and put my name on the waiting list. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated at a nice clean table. The menu is excellent, with many options for dinner. I like how you can select how spicy you want your dish. I got the Kung Pao Chicken with level 3 spicy, above medium, and just right for me. The chicken was tender, and the vegetables were delicious. I want to come back and try something new. The Noodle Wave in Frisco has good table service with tasty food.

Do they do green curry without fish sauce?

They can do what you ask them to do. If you don't want fish sauce in your food, simply request no fish sauce (nước mắm, sounds like nook mom). I have to tell you, a large percentage of their food menu contains fish sauce; it's what adds the flavor…

Does anybody know if their pad Thai is vegetarian, meaning no fish or oyster sauce?

Hey! So they have veggie pad Thai without any fish or oyster but make sure you say no egg to make it truly vegan!

We started with the golden hot buns, edamame, pork and chive dumplings, and golden fried buns. Everything was fantastic...with one exception. The edamame comes with sugar instead of salt, and that one just wasn't for us. For our meals, we had General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef Noodles, and Braised Beef Noodles. The General Tso's was one of my favorites, the sauce was bold, slightly sweet, and had just enough heat. The Sesame Chicken was really good too, a little sweeter and milder but still had a tiny kick. The Kung Pao Chicken was definitely a favorite at the table! It had so much flavor and a nice little spice to it. The Mongolian Beef Noodles were savory and really good, and the Braised Beef Noodles had a deep, rich flavor with a really tasty broth. Most of us chose the wide, flat noodles, and I would absolutely get those again. They soaked up all that sauce so well! And apparently scissors are part of the noodle-eating experience. It seemed a little odd at first, but it was actually kind of fun and definitely something different! The restaurant was quiet, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our waitress was a young girl who was just the sweetest. And, as is standard for me, I asked her what her favorites were. She recommended several things and was so personable and helpful. Even as we were leaving, everyone told us thank you and goodbye. Little things like that make such a difference. And one completely random thing that deserves a mention...they give you individually wrapped flossers at the end of your meal. I know, it sounds silly, but after eating noodles, you KNOW you need one. We loved it! Definitely worth a visit if you're in Frisco and want something a little different!

So we decided to skip the heat and go to this place. It was such a lovely surprise. I opened the door and it was a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and so clean! Even the bathrooms were super clean and they have toilet seat covers! Food was also solid. We ordered a bunch of different things to share - calamari, riblets, crab rangoon, edamame, chicken XLB, truffle pork XLB, crispy udon, green beans. Everything had really excellent flavor, not too salty either. Our server was so sweet! She always said, "you're so welcome!" And she was quick to refill our drinks without us even asking. First, many of the dishes lacked the authenticity. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour at all and was overwhelmed by the flavor of sesame oil. The black bean noodles tasted like instant noodles you could make at home, and we ended up adding black vinegar ourselves just to bring some acidity and balance to the dish. The sweet chili shrimp also didn't taste fresh. At the end of our meal, we literally said "this tasted like Chinese buffet food." The service and dining environment made the experience even worse. Throughout our meal, we constantly heard dishes being slammed around from servers cleaning tables. At one point, something was dropped so hard that dishes shattered across the floor. A trash cart was parked right next to our booth while we were eating, and the staff even started mopping the floor directly in front of us during the lunch rush. I understand that restaurants often hire seasonal staff during the summer, but proper training is still important. The way the dishes were handled throughout our meal was loud, chaotic, and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy our dining experience. It's unfortunate because our first experience of this restaurant was great, but this visit fell well short of our expectations.
