    Panang Curry

I can only speak off my one visit that I found Noodle Wave packs robust, rich flavors in its dishes. My wife and I always test a Thai restaurant by our staples: panang curry, pad thai noodles, and tom kha soup. It was weird - the flavors of the pad thai and panang were not what we're used to. The flavors were very good, but simply not what we were expecting, like there is a plan B to putting these dishes together and we had only ever been served plan A. So it took some getting used to the tastes before we could enjoy them. The other weird thing is that while I don't think we'd ever order those two plates again, the flavors were so exotic and exciting that we definitely want to come back and soon. The menu looks very adventurous now that we know NW uses very fresh ingredients. The wait staff appears consistently relaxed and natural. I like that. Not overbearing or absent, nor fake or indifferent. Everyone seems themselves and it contributes to the calming experience I think eating Thai should be. Speaking of calm, love the design of NW. Not busy but not void of character. Just a good balance of atmosphere. I have a good feeling we'll be coming here often and enjoying a great variety of dishes.

OK so the best part about this place as we all know, is that they have halal meat. Unfortunately, I did not know that you did not get a bowl of soup in the beginning and that is only for a lunch so that was annoying. Fortunately for us, the food made up for that. The number one thing for me that I liked was that the children's meals came out really fast because if the kids are not happy-- nobody is happy. They got chicken nugget meals that come with ice cream, which is fantastic. They had Vanilla Ice cream, coconut ice cream, and green tea as well as options. Both of my kids chose vanilla and enjoyed it. I felt like the chicken was off in the noodle dishes, pad thai and pad see ew, and so I was not able to eat the actual chicken in the noodle dishes, but I did like the sesame chicken and my favorite was the Orange chicken. Their Thai tea is also quite good. Overall, I would come here again!

Of all the Noodle Waves, this one is my favorite! Great service and really good food... how can you go wrong? This place is located in an unassuming strip mall, but there's plenty of parking. After you place your order, you're given a little bowl of soup. The best way to describe it is a Peanut-y Tom Kha. It's creamy, savory, a little spicy and very delicious! We went overboard for lunch and ordered enough for an army: Yum Woonsen - light and refreshing. The clear noodles perfectly absorbed the tangy lime dressing and the shrimp and chicken were cooked to perfection. Rama Peanut Chicken - this creamy sauce makes anything tastes good! Chicken was tender and perfectly spiced. Pumpkin Curry Shrimp - it's a seasonal item. It's close to yellow curry, but not as sweet. The pumpkin gives great texture to the dish. Lo Mein Kao Soy - tender beef with crispy AND soft noodles served with chili oil. Party in your mouth! Pad Thai - definitely a must when trying a Thai restaurant for the first time. This one is a little on the sweet side, but still very good. We washed it all down with a tall glass of Thai tea. Overall an amazing meal! One big plus, the food tastes great as leftovers too! I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.

I came here for a work lunch and it did not disappoint. I can't believe I hadn't been before and this is now on my top list for Thai food. The service was good and our server was attentive. The lunch entrees came with a soup and it was flavorful. I got the drunken noodles with fried tofu. The tofu was very good. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Good food; not amazing but satisfactory. Great service. Casual but neat ambiance. Price is reasonable.

Food was absolutely amazing especially the peanut udon noodles! The spring rolls were also amazing! The restaurant has a ver cute interior and the service is amazing. They do charge extra for steamed rice with your curries which is not something many Thai restaurants do, so that was a bit disappointing.

    Fried icecream.

Food was good, best was the Bangkok chicken, siracha chicken was ok, not that great. Their Mongolian beef was very tasty too. You have to try the fried ice cream, really yum!

    Small salmon. Bland curry.

    Do they serve alcohol?

THEY ARE NO LONGER BYOB! There is a sign on the door stating you cannot bring it in and they DO NOT SERVE IT EITHER.

    Is it halal?

    Yep! It's 100% halal certified!

    Is it BYOB?

Yes. Although I no longer drink alcohol, I and my fellow dining companions have enjoyed our own beer, wine, and liquor on several occasions. If you are picky, you may want to bring glasses that are suited to your beverage as thiers are limited.… Read more

I particularly loved my pad Thai with chicken and tofu, it had a really great flavor! I asked for medium spice but I didn't find it spicy. Massaman curry was also really good and chock full of veggies! They also had many appetizers and drinks on Happy Hour which I believe went until 7 pm. Appetizers seemed to be $2 off, I didn't look closely at the drinks but it was basic cocktails. They did have an extensive cocktail list that looked very good! I will happily return here!

The meat-to-noodle ratio was solid, the veggies were plentiful, and the flavor was balanced and satisfying. The dining area felt clean and welcoming, and the server was attentive without hovering. Food came out quickly, which I appreciated. The crab rangoons were another highlight -- thick, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. The Pad Thai stood out, too. So many places drown it in that ketchup-y sweetness, but here the flavor was subtle, clean, and layered. Simple but still complex in a really good way.

I ordered the basil fried rice (spice level 2) and the pork fried crispy rolls. The spice level 2 gave the rice a subtle kick - noticeable but not overwhelming - which is just the way I like it. The basil fried rice was packed with egg, bamboo shoots, baby corn, mushrooms, bell peppers, white onions, fresh basil, and garlic. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was VERY generous - this was way more than single meal for me. The crispy pork rolls were also very good. They were filled with pork, green onions, glass noodles, carrots, white onions, and cabbage, and served with a thin sweet & sour sauce that complemented them nicely without being too heavy. Even though I ordered them as an appetizer, they arrived midway through my meal, so not the best timing. The fountain machine wasn't working, so drinks were $2.50 for a can of soda with no refills. That felt a bit steep for a canned drink. I count that as a downside of the visit. Overall, the food was flavorful and generously portioned. With small improvements on the drink situation and meal timing, it could easily be a 5-star experience.
