I called to place an order, and the employee answered the phone by saying, "Where your momma?" before putting me on hold for about 15 minutes. The food is great, but the staff's behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. I hope the owner addresses this by providing better training or hiring employees who treat customers with more respect. read more

Food always consistent and flavorful. I get the chicken platter with red and green sauce on the side. Fries are always crispy too. It can get busy but worth the wait. Their efficiency has also improved over the months so now the wait for food is very reasonable. Prices are great too for what you get. The guys that run the store are friendly and hospitable. Read reviews went to try, first thing I noticed before I walked in was all the smudge marks on the door. Cleanliness is usually a precursor to how the food will be and I should've trusted my gut. You order from a counter where all the food is sitting out. Fries under a heat lamp with paper plates on top of the fries to keep the flies away. No lie, there had to be about 12 flies flying around, made it impossible to dine-in. Guy who plated our food was eating while doing so. Booths are impossible to sit in as they just slide across the floor. Watched 3 different parties try to sit there and just moved elsewhere. If I do come back, it will definitely be to go. Food was ok. Fajiro was good, wife had the gyro plate and was underwhelmed. The burger was good but not "the best in Dallas". Service here is fast and as you sit and enjoy the NYC vibe they'll even call you up soon after to have you customize your bowl with sauces and toppings, and don't be afraid to ask for more/less since they're there to learn! As for the classic combo bowl, it's actually not my favorite thing here. For plates their Seafood Platter is the shock hit while their Burger series is actually a great pick especially if you're tired of thin Smashburgers. They've got a lot of options and I'm still working through them myself. Considering they haven't closed already, I'd say they're doing something right. These were both delicious and large servings for a very reasonable price. The shrimp was a bit dry but it was the end of day. The chicken was excellent and juicy. I came here the other day to have a quick iftar with a friend and was not disappointed. Right off the bat the insane red, black and white NYC themed artwork draws you in like a moth to a flame. On the menu you will find a handful of NYC classics like the chopped cheese sandwich, an homage to a philly cheesesteak as well as halal chicken over rice platters. I ordered the OG burger and asked for grilled jalapeños on it. The cashier was friendly but took forever to place the order in, I'm not are why but he seemed super confused and out of it. It must be because we came right before iftar but they missed my order note and did not in fact add jalapeños which was disappointing. The burger was A-okay, it's a typical smash burger but I found it a little on the dry side and I also thought it was incredibly greasy. The chicken fajiro my friend ordered was, on the other hand, quite nice. This is some sort of pita bread quesadilla concoction with shredded meat, cheese and ranch in the filling. I took a bite and it tasted quite good and I will have to come back here to grab myself one on a day my caloric budget allows for it. Speaking of calories - I really think they should include some healthier options in their menu that isn't doused in endless amount of mayo based sauces or is fried. I'm very happy to have a new New York style Halal cart location in the Dallas area! OG Chicken and Gyro is a welcome addition to the area, and the food delivers on flavor in a big way. The rice and chicken are incredibly flavorful, and the lamb is tender and genuinely delicious. Every bowl feels fresh thanks to the vibrant vegetables, and even the fries stand out with their well-seasoned crispiness. If there's one thing I found myself wishing for, it's a spicy sauce option. While the flavors are strong enough to carry the dishes on their own, a little heat would elevate the experience even more. The only drawback was the wait time--about 30-40 minutes for two bowls and an appetizer. It's understandable given that this is a new location, and I'm confident they'll streamline operations as they settle in and customer volume grows. Overall, I'm very impressed with the flavors and see a lot of potential here. I'll definitely be back to see how they continue to improve. The chicken over rice platter was good and the portions were very filling. We also got then OG burger which was perfectly cooked and moist. It could use some more sauce but I just added some to my liking. The fries were not my favorite but did have some seasoning on them. This ended up being two meals for me. They will even let you add two different sauces at no cost. I wish the salad had some sort of dressing or that they also hit it with some sauce. The inside was very clean and the cashier was kind. The wait was a little long for the food but it was during the lunch rush. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and they will bring your plate to you. Dine in and takeout are both served in to go containers. Parking lot is a bit small but there are additional spots around the side. I would also recommend they remove the animation from their menu screens because it makes it a little hard to read. The bread also tastes pretty stale and it's impossible to pick it up to eat as it just falls apart in your hand.
