The staff is always friendly! My food comes out fresh and hot! The service is always fast!

I have been consistently coming here for the past six years. I like that they have several options for vegetarians and any dish can be customized to your liking. It also works for picky spouses and children. If you dine in, they bring your order to your table in regular bowls. They have just about the coolest fountain drink dispenser that you've ever seen! You can even add flavors to drinks (for example, I got lime flavored coke). Being a rewards member gets you lots of fun perks. It was my birthday a few weeks ago and the person who took my order told me happy birthday two separate times and I got a free treat with my rewards. Excellent customer service and nice people at places like this are hard to come by. This place is refreshing. read more

I always enjoy eating at noodles and company and since I was in town I was excited to stop in for lunch. Little did I know I should have been considering Olive Garden instead. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the small Buffalo Mac n cheese, 3 pot stickers and a pop. $20 into lunch. The post stickers were good as usual. The Buffalo Mac n cheese was fair. It lacked the cheese part of the Mac n cheese. Overall if your interested in an over priced place for lunch this is your spot. read more

The restrooms were dirty. There were no napkins or utensils available on the counter. Over 10 people were waiting for food and it was not even during lunch or dinner hours. We ordered our food online 30 minutes prior and it was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I really like the flavor and taste of the food minus the saltiness, it's way too salty. And it happens every time, which isn't often bc of this very reason, so it's not just a fluke. I'm a big fan of noodles and company. I love the variety from regular noodles, zucchini noodles and even cauliflower noodles. Adding the extras with the meat makes the wonderful pasta dishes even better. You can also add sides and a drink to make a meal. I also really like the two different sizes of the entree offered as today I was extra hungry and wanted the larger portion. Other days, I want just a small portion .I thought my favorite was the Wisconsin mac snd cheese until I had the absolute divine truffle mac today. I was originally going to dish out a 3 star but then I realized that if I like something enough to come back more than a few times I should probably give it 4. So here it is. Feel free to judge me. ;) They're not doing anything crazy and I know a lot of people who would snub their noses but man, sometimes I just need something quick where I can work for an hour as I eat, get some mac and cheese, and get a hook up on some free bomb ass refills of iced tea. They're not reinventing the wheel but they do what they do well. So, as far as fast food goes, I'm pretty into Noodles and Company. It's relatively healthy and because they make everything to order it's pretty easy to request things even healthier (no cheese, extra veggies, etc) even the sauce is made to order so you can request no cream if you'd like, which I really find to be helpful when I'm watching what I eat. Also a vegetarian friendly fast food joint? Well hey. That's pretty nice. The portions are a decent sized and the ingredients are relatively fresh (again, for fast food). I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff and I appreciate that they try out new things like featuring seasonal ingredients (hello, asparagus!) and riffs on the standard dishes (actually really enjoyed the truffled mac and cheese they rolled out for a short time late winter/early spring). Also the space is really clean and the staff are very friendly. I've definitely encountered some fast food joints with staff who just want to kill themselves or you but these folks are taking some happy pills, and I mean that in a good way. Again, this place isn't serving up crazy imaginative dishes or the best tasting pasta you'll get but for what it is--a fast food chain--it's pretty great. Ps--I agree with Josh that THIS IS THE WORST PARKING LOT EVER. Park a lot over and walk, it's worth it. read more

Noodles and Co, a chain (remember, this is fast food, folks) establishment with a focus on customizable noodle-based dishes (hence their name, I suppose). I've eaten at quite a few and I discover that they all pretty much are the same, with different faces in different places. This location happens to be most convenient for my purposes (which, in this case, always involve eating) so I've been here more than most. The drawback: you will probably not find a worse parking arrangement anywhere. It shares a strip with Coldstone and Starbucks, with parking enough to maybe accommodate *one* of these three establishments. Luckily, there's a massive parking lot for the shopping center just down the strip that one can take advantage of. In fact, I advise it. The menu breaks down between American, Mediterranean and Asian noodle dishes. I don't bother with the American menu because it is dull and I could cook any of those in my bathroom. I'm sure they taste good, but seriously? Mediterranean is nice, with a bit of variety from tomato-sauced to pesto'ed to olive-oiled dishes. The real real gem, though, is the Asian menu - which isn't to say these dishes are authentic (allow me to reiterate that this is a chain fast food establishment) but they are delicious, loaded with veggies and flavor. I'm rather partial to the Japanese Pan Noodles with tofu. Toss in a rustic roll and you're in for a good time. No tipping, and access to chopsticks? I'm sold. read more

The service took a while, and it was right after they opened. The 'to go' crowd was flying through the restaurant though. I think that's their priority vs. first come first serve. When I was served my bowl, the server had three bowls on his tray, placed mine on the table, and commented that they do accept tips also. Just a heads up if you go there. read more

Got the Penne Rosa, my friend got the buttered noodles, and we split a small order of garlic bread. Everything came out hot and fresh as it always does. I love the drink machines and their variety, they're a huge reason as to why I love to come here. Wish more places had them. Update 3/13: Got the penne Rosa with zucchini noodles (75¢+) and oh my gosh. Update 4/10: Pasta was good, but not hot in some spots, lukewarm at best, but tasted good as normal, cheesy bread is good too. EDIT: FIX THE BATHROOM. Looks awful. Soap dispenser is off the wall, toilet paper holder is sideways cause it's falling off too. The door literally smacks you if you aren't ready for it to swing closed. read more

So good! Alfredo MontAmore was delicious! The chicken is parmesan encrusted and very flavorful. The Steak stroganoff was good too. The kids meal is great! Choice of spaghetti, Mac n Cheese, buttered noodles or grilled chicken with 2 sides (broccoli, apple slices, apple sauce or crispy treat). The shareable Korean BBQ meatballs were really good too. This noodle and company has to be one of my all time favorites. The customer service is amazing and the management is even better. I came in with a big bowl coupon (BOGO) but realized I didn't need that much food so I asked if I could sub the Coupon for the regular sized bowls and He said "oh for sure, absolutely. We will hook you up ". I thought that was really nice and appreciated that he let me do that. I ordered three penne rosa's with Parmesan crusted chicken and feta cheese. I was happily enjoying my pasta fresca when I saw a short black hair in my next bite. I decided to place the hair with the pasta on my napkin. I stopped eating for a moment and after an inspection, decided to carry on. I then found ANOTHER hair two bites in. So I decided that was enough. I took the hairy pasta evidence and the remainder of my food and asked for a new dish to go. The worker didn't apologize and seemed as if I was bothering her. I apologized repeatedly because I hate complaining. She barely looked up from her task at hand, never told a manager what was going on, tossed everything in a trash can and then called for my item (incorrectly) to be remade to go. This place used to be good; not anymore. This location has went down hill so much it's quite sad. None of the employees really give a s*** and they just try to turn everyone away because they don't want to work. 2 people in the entire lobby waiting for food and telling customers it will be 30 minutes before they can even take their order... mind you this is at 7pm on a Wednesday (not busy at all) if there is a manager or owner of this location they need to step up big time. You. Are. All. Insane. The genius of this joint is that it manages to make a mockery of multiple ethnic cuisines under one roof. If you think this is a good facsimile of Thai, or Italian, or Chinese, or for god's sake, even German buttered noodles, then you need a taste bud transplant. EVERYONE: avoid at all costs. Like an ex I can't quit, I've been drawn to this hellhole multiple times over the past couple years (including the one on State downtown) and every time the food was so shitty I wanted to cry. Serves me right for walking into the first place I see when exhausted and hungry. Last time my Pad Thai had only the tiniest bit of sauce, and the chicken strips were overcooked to the point I could hardly cut even with a knife. So, basically, I was left with naked noodles for dinner. In closing, as much as the local restaurant scene leaves much to be desired in AA, I can't understand why anyone (myself sadly included) would spend money here when there are plenty of other options around that are (a) tastier, (b) cheaper or same, and (c) locally owned. read more

Oh man is this stuff terrible. And it's really damn expensive - do you know how much noodles cost? In some parts of the country people will pay you to take their noodles - they're that cheap. Here is a great recipe, and it's easier than walking to Noodles and Company, or even driving there, and faster. 1) Boil noodles for like 10 minutes 2) make a sauce, again REALLY EASY. Hell, buy a really expensive sauce if you want, you'll still come out ahead. 3) add meat if you want. 15 minutes tops, and you have any noodle dish of your dreams for $3 or less. Worst waste of money. The first time I ever went to one of these was my pre-Asian and Italian food days. The real stuff. I haven't been there in about a year when I was nearby shopping at that Arborland mall and really wanted some pasta. I got some penne crap with chicken and a side salad. Literally, it was almost 4 pieces of lettuce with a half of onion slice. Okay maybe it was 5 pieces of lettuce, but it was served in this deceiving deep looking cup with a opaque plastic lid so I got all excited thinking I had a decent side and then I opened to.... 5 pieces of wilted lettuce. I drowned it in tears. I even took pictures of it so I could show my husband after I got over the shame of succumbing to Noodles & Company (he refuses to spend money on "that place" he always tells me). The chicken was dry and flavorless, and even the pasta was chewy and the dressing probably came from a bottle bought from Kroger labeled "Italian Dressing." I suppose it upsets me since I had all those ingredients at home, yet I paid much more of a pathetic serving of tasteless food. However, the service was swift and friendly. My first time at a Noodles & Company. In a word...YUM! The Cheesy Garlic Bread was a great starter for my daughter and I. Thick sliced yet oh so soft, with just the right amount of garlic. I had the Spicy Korean Beef Noodles, and my daughter had the Alfredo MontAmore. Both are delicious. Too bad this location is the closest to my home at 40 Miles away. I really like this place. It's casual and tasty. The menu is not extensive, because I am used to Southern California variety menus. But, being that I was a student and occasionally wanting more than just fries and burger, I was pleasantly surprised at the menu selection here. My favorite was the Pesto Cavatappi, then Penne Rosa, then Japanese pan noodles because they used the thick udon noodles. Now that I am back in So. Cal. I crave the simplicity of running-in, ordering and getting back home with my food! So, the you pick from stages, like size, what noodles, then what meat from what I recall. Sometimes there was a line, but still not too bad of a wait. Oh, the BIG cookie was delicious too. I think it was by the cash register. The parking lot closest to the the door is usually packed and of course that is where everyone wants to park during the snow season. So, plan ahead. I went here because I've always wanted to try it, and I got a coupon from them for a buy 1, get 1 for my birthday. Yay! Free food! I went in with low expectation and they were fulfilled. I'm not going to say that the food was bad, it was just blah. Blah fast food. At least I didn't make an attempt to order the Pad Thai. That could have been a disaster. If you have a for Asian noodles, find a decent Chinese restaurant. There are many around. I love Noodles and Company. Now I have to be honest and say I really only order about three different things and most of the time I get the pad thai so I don't have knowledge of the entire menu board. First, the pad thai isn't as traditional as if you got it from a thai restaurant but it's pretty darn good. I get the steak added on and it's always good for me. Also, they have one of those futuristic coke machines where you can get like a million different flavors of soda which is a fun game. However, with only one there can be a line. We just moved to Ann Arbor so we will have to see how the service is here compared to other Noodles but it's been good so far! read more

I've lived in Ann Arbor for a while and this location constantly lowers or reaches my expectations (granted, they are pretty low for a chain restaurant). Lately, I've had several concerns that have finally prompted me to leave a review. 1. Small portion sizes. The N&C by my work, in Southfield, has way larger portion and is always cooked to perfection 2. The Parmesan chicken. As of recent, the chicken is gummy and has a bizarre texture. I also seem to get a stomach ache after eating it. Has it gone bad ?? 3. The steak is always..just.. cheap tasting and bad texture. Similar to cheap Chinese food meat 4. Sometimes their spinach isn't sautéed long enough; it's still stiff. The mushrooms are also not sautéed long enough, they should have a caramelized exterior On the other side, I have had consistently good service. I just don't see myself frequenting this place any longer seeing how Five Guys is next door. $5 burgers that are amazing vs a single portion $7-10 meal?? Hm.. read more
