This No Thai was good, the service was quick and the food decent. The spice levels aren't very consistent, I ordered medium spice and it didn't taste spicy at all. This spot is more of a takeout location. Overall, not bad but I've had better experiences at some of the other locations!

Really enjoyed the service and quality of food at this location. Portions were large and prices are very generous considering how much food you get with your meal. This location was very clean and we received our food very quickly. This location is a bit small, however, which makes it difficult to sit down during busy lunch and dinner rushes.

While visiting Ann Arbor with friends we walked up on No Thai, the food was delicious, and fresh, the portion size was overwhelmingly good. It was busy but the flow of service was good. If you're in the mood for Thai and in the area, I'd recommend it without reservation.

This place is stream lined Thai restaurant, go in order and then seat yourself. Order will come up and call your name to pick up. The Thai tea is in a dispenser and you put in the creamer yourself, which is a plus, as you can add any amount of creamer you would like to the Thai tea. Drunken noodles is not quite the same taste as I usually have tasted. It is still savory and delicious. I would recommend the drunken noodle from this place.

We stopped by No Thai! on recommendation of a colleague while we were in A2 for business. If you're looking for a mom and pop with a variety of dishes specific to their Thai community, NT is not that. It's more of a "fast food Thai" option. They focus on a handful of "classic" Thai dishes, and allow you to customize your protein and spice level. Service was quick. The restaurant, while small, has several tables, including a high top bar near the window. We stopped by at 2pm on a Friday, and they still had several patrons eating at that time. My husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, spice level 4/5 (Yoga Flame). It came out completely white so he was concerned it would be bland, but said he was pleasantly surprised by the overall flavor. He's a lover of all things spicey, and felt that 4/5 wasn't quite spicy enough, but looks forward to trying other proteins with the full 5/5 spice (Dim Mak). The only critique he had was for the noodles- they came out as a clumpy, soggy mess and were difficult to separate. I ordered the Beef Pad Cashew stir fry with 1/5 spice (I'm a wimp!), and I thought it was flavorful and delicious. The beef was tender and veggies had a nice crunch. It came with an abundance of Cashews, which I love. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

COVID ERA UPDATE: I placed an order over the phone while driving home from errands one night. 20 minutes late, our food was ready for pick up. I couldn't pay over the phone so I had to pop in to make the payment and it felt super safe. Everyone was masked up (from the front staff to the kitchen), all the seating was removed which allowed for easy distancing for those of us doing pick up (there were only 2 of us). Everything was packed up well and even after a drive home in the dead of winter it arrived piping hot. We'll definitely be doing it more often in the coming weeks.

What I liked about No Thai was the service was super fast and the restaurant was very clean. What I didn't like was the flavor of the Pad Thai. It was pretty bland. Although I wasn't a huge fan of the food I know other people love No Thai. I may have to go back to get another item on the menu.

I could have used more eggplant, but still yummy.

The pork buns were flavorful, sweet, and a little tangy. The pork belly in the ramen was SO FLAVORFUL, literally the best I've ever had! It was a little tough in some parts, but the flavor was seriously amazing. The portions were HUGE too, you'll definitely have some leftovers afterwards or could at the very least take the broth home and make some ramen yourself. The service was great too. Everyone we interacted with was kind and accommodating. Service seemed a little slow, but the place was completely full, so it was understandable. Everyone still had a smile on their face and made sure we had everything we needed! My only real "complaint" about the ramen was that the egg wasn't soft-boiled. I can definitely see how that would be difficult to keep up with when you're getting so many orders every day, though. Eggs like that are pretty fragile and don't last long when they have a runny yolk, so I understand why they might not be practical for a busy restaurant. The inside was okay, nothing fancy, and honestly a little messy in the back with some extra food/stuff sitting around. However, the bar counter and floor were very clean and were wiped down after each customer, which I appreciated. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ramen! The pork belly alone was worth it.

Everything's tastes sweet on my orders. This is a family-run restaurant with a casual, family-style atmosphere. One thing I noticed on the menu is that they ask for an 18% tip, which honestly made me feel a little pressured. . I always believe tips are depending on what kind of service I get with the servers. Customer is not hold responsible to pay extra when you get shit ass service if anyone agreed? This was my first time eating here, but based on my experience, I don't think I'll be coming back. Price & Portions: The prices are pretty reasonable for some items, and the portion sizes are fair for what you pay. Tom Yum Tofu: I ordered the tom yum tofu. It was a small bowl, and the soup tasted more sweet and salty than sour. I couldn't really taste the usual sourness I expect from tom yum, and there was also a noticeable turmeric-like smell. There were only tofu and about six slices of mushrooms. Pad See Ew: The noodles were sweet, but I didn't get that smoky wok-fried flavor I usually look for. It tasted more like the ingredients had simply been mixed together in a wok. Drunken Noodles: This one was definitely unusual. The sauce was lightly red, very wet, and completely different from the drunken noodles I've had at other Thai restaurants. I've tried Thai food at many different places, and I've never had it prepared quite this way. Luckily, I didn't order anything else. Overall, I think this restaurant may work for people who enjoy this particular style of Thai food, but it wasn't the Thai flavor or cooking style I was looking for.

We ordered our favorite dishes: spicy basil minced chicken (last option on the back of the menu) and the Thai volcano shrimp... and the cute and delicious Bear Thai Tea. I usually have a hard time finding my favorite Thai dish (basil chicken with minced chicken or pork) at Thai restaurants, so I'm really happy they didn't close for good. Both of the dishes we ordered are our go tos and can't say I'll ever order anything else! The shrimp is crunchy and pretty big... it looks similar to a small cider donut... and they give you about 6, with a side of rice and broccoli. I love that they added a sauce tray that they bring out before your food arrives, in case you need more heat in your dish. I hope next time, if I have room for it, to try one of the desserts.

The main issue for me was the satay; it was undercooked on the inside, which was disappointing. I hope they can improve the quality of the food, because the place itself has a lot of potential. Also, It might have just been an off time since we came close to closing, but the noise and cleaning during our meal made it very distracting. Service was ok but wasn't the best.
