Literally been waiting an hour for 2 bowls of noodles with only 7 customers in the building.

Noodles and company have been a favorite of mine ever since I was a kid. Despite developing a gluten allergy, they have remained one of the few places I can get food from. On 5/25/25, I placed an online order for dinner and didn't think much of it. After working a 12-hour shift, I needed some good food to help me unwind from the day. I sent my boyfriend to pick up the order, and on the ticket, there was the sweetest message I have ever gotten written on it. I cried once reading the message. Thank you for the kind words, Yari. 2 1/2 stars. Haven't been to any Noodles & company in several years. Its all changed for the worse. Limited menu. Drastically different then I recall. Taste has changed. Ordered the spicy Korean Beef Noodles. No spicy, salty as hell and minimal flavor. Disappointing as hell. Not gonna cry about portion sizes or price, thats today's world. Other things of note: trash at all receptacles inside restaurant overflowing. Bathrooms were dirty. Tables dirty. I guess part of the problem is everywhere stores/restaurants are understaffed, cause nobody wants to work ,or gets paid more to work @ Amazon which is a sweat shop with no conditions, and you get a daily beat down & quit after a few weeks. Messed up simple order (wrong item given) -- no longer use white bowls for in-restaurant dining, just cheap black carryout plastic (but ads around restaurant all use the white dishes) -- Mac and cheese was filled with liquid at bottom of containers -- tables, floor and seating filled with food and crumbs -- mentioned all this to manager on duty and he blew it off despite the place being almost empty -- we had dined in this location many times before the pandemic, but have no interest in returning. We just wanted a quick lunch before an event. I'm avoiding pastas right now, so I was happy to see they had a few salads to pick from. I ordered the chicken caesar salad, but wanted ranch dressing instead. "No ranch", they say. Say what? Who doesn't have ranch? They had jalepeno ranch, so I took a side of that. The salad was pretty weak. It was a small mess of greens with some parmesan cheese. Oh yeah, in there somewhere was a small amount of cold, dry chicken. Like - the dry edges - not the good, meaty part. It was disappointing. Others in my party got noodle dishes that served them fine. The restaurant is in a nice location and was fairly clean. The staff were friendly enough. The salad just fell short. If you want a salad, maybe look elsewhere... but man, it shouldn't be hard to make a good salad. read more

Food was fine but the portions are ridiculous. A regular is now a small and I don't dare to know what a small is now! A regular used to be a good two cups' worth. Now it's about a cup. So pitiful. Ended up going home and making myself another meal the portions were so dismally unsatisfying! The staff doesn't even both to ask "for here or to go" anymore. You're served the rubbish takeout containers that are not recyclable. They are too lazy to even give you proper dining ware. Overall a sad experience. Would rather cook at home. I normally love Noodles & Company, but I could barely finish my dish here the other day, as the smell of the store was just horrendous. It smelled like a puppy kennel in the tropics. I'm not sure, but it might have been an employee cleaning the woodwork with a dirty rag, or is it normally like this? Not sure why said employee had to clean so close to me while I was eating, either, but the whole place really just reeked like a jungle fungus. The Japanese Pan Noodles were okay, but the steak added to it was just small curled up pieces, not normal Noodles & Co quality (which I realize is subpar, already). UWM students don't know any better so they flock here to avoid dorm food; but this place is way subpar, even by Noodles standards. read more

I hadn't been to a Noodles and Co in quite a while. If you're on their email list they send you a coupon for a free entree when it's your birthday. Mine is in a few days, I got the email, and I was hungry, so I figured I'd take a walk over to Noodles & Co. The woman that took my order was really great. I watched her deal with the people in front of me who were somewhat rude and seemed to have a propensity for asking less than intelligent questions. She handled them with a smile so it was no surprise that she was cool with me. Please note that it's not just because she's cute and pierced and probably tattooed, and I like that, but she was also a good order taker, upbeat, and friendly. Penne Rosa I remember being one of my favorites before I realized that a low carb diet was a good thing for me. It's penne with a somewhat creamy red sauce, tomato, spinach that's wilted from the heat of the pasta, and mushrooms. It was a little spicier than I remember it, not necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn't quite as hot in temperature as I would have liked. The spinach hadn't wilted, you see, and it didn't taste quite like I remember it, but it was still pretty good. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will be back next time I feel like loading up on the carbs. Thank you to the cute pierced possibly tattooed girl for making my night a little bit better. Not gonna waste too much of my time on this subpar noodles. I only go when I have a coupon or a free meal, and even then, I know I'll be disappointed. Super stingy on everything they put in your entree, for example in my pesto cavatappi with added parm chicken, pictured below, there was literally 3 skinny pieces of mushroom and maybe two pieces of tomato, and the chicken they added was definitely not worth the $2.50 extra. I suspect that the to go orders are made sub par to the in shop orders because who's gonna want to go all the way back to complain about their food? It's like this every time I go. Stopped here for a quick bite during a shopping excursion. I was in the mood for a salad, so I chose the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. This salad had the works...greens, red onions, feta cheese, Kamala olives, tomato, and cucumber. Top that all off with some grilled chicken, and you've got yourself a real taste pleaser. My sister chose the Thai chicken soup, which she enjoyed immensely. The staff was very courteous and attentive, and the food was delivered very promptly. We chose to dine in, and their COVID-19 social distancing is strictly enforced. All tables were disinfected & wiped down, and staff was wearing masks. Definitely a return trip. read more

I ordered the BBQ pork mac and cheese which is a favorite. Such an amazing combo! They even let me sub broccoli for the crispy jalapenos which was great! I ordered the Thai soup (side) for the first time and my only disappointment was that the quantity was tiny. Especially in the takeout container it didn't even fill it halfway. I'm not sure what the quantity is supposed to be but just be aware when they say side, it's really only a few bites worth. The side Caesar salad was also small but more expected quantity. Unfortunately, I tried to use my birthday reward on my order and it wouldn't work on the website so I included a special note with my order asking if they could add it and they didn't. Bummer. Recently my son and I picked up noodles on our way home from UWM. We stopped at the noodles on Oakland ave, as it was close to UWM and drove home to Barton, WI. We ordered 3 dishes, steak stroganoff, spicy Korean, and buttered noodles. When we got home we were missing the spicy Korean noodles, and the buttered noodles where plain. The steak stroganoff looked unappealing, and we received mac and cheese that we did not order, nor did we eat. I called to complain and was told we would receive a few coupons on the mail. Today I received 1 coupon that expired 12/31/20. This is unacceptable and the last time I go to noodles. Every time there seems to be an issue. I am not going to spend another dollar on food that is just unacceptable and inedible from an overpriced fast food joint. read more

Terrible terrible terrible customer service every time I go in. I have coeliac disease and every time I ask for gluten free fusilli noodles I get nothing but attitude. The last time I was in, I was the only person ordering and they weren't the slightest bit busy but the young lady at the register gave me nothing but eye rolls, heavy sighs, and attitude. If you want the best bang for your buck, Noodles and Co is it. I mean, under $6 for a filling pasta entree that tastes pretty good? I'm not going to complain. With a protein/meat, your total still only comes to ~$8. Throw in a drink or cookie and you're under $10. See where I'm going here? This particular location is only about a mile from the boyfriend's place, which means even if I were feeling guilty, I would bike or walk. (Guiltless carbs FTW). I'm not sure how service normally is. We stopped by en route to the beach and it was pretty much empty. I tried the pesto cavatappi with Parmesan crusted chicken. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken. Raw veggies in noodles every single time! If u can't stir fry the veggies then u have really bad cooks in the kitchen. On my first visit, I order Bangkok something, noodle were lil under cookedbut it's alright, however all my veggies were totally raw. I complained to the customer service. I asked if it was meant to be crunchy raw or was a mistake and they apologized for raw veggies and gave me a free meal coupon. I gave it a try today, I ordered Japanese noodle. Udon noodles were perfectly cooked and seasoned but agian all my veggies were raw!! Mushroom was chewy as hell! Never again!!! I actually enjoyed this place more than I thought I would... I was expecting some dirty fast food environment where you eat out of a paper bowl and clear your own table... I was pleasantly surprised... the place was clean, the employees were mildly friendly, and I didnt have to clean up after myself... Now it is certainly not fine dining but it is a step up from what you may think... The food was good as well... I chose good, not because I lack descriptive word choice, but because thats what it was. It wasnt amazing, it wasnt gross, it was good.... I had the mac and cheese with parmesan crusted chicken and a small tomato basil soup... the flavor of all these items was spot on... and the fact that they have an endless supply of sriracha bumped them from a potential 3.5 to a 4.... I love the stuff... My girl had the indonesian peanut saute'... i was jealous, this dish was killer... I am definitely getting it next time i roll through... i say check it out! read more

For a quick service restaurant, this is as good as it gets! From the comments below, it seems some people won't give 5 stars for a "fast food restaurant" but I think you have to compare each restaurant against it's peers--you can't compare a McDonald's or Kopps to a Capital Grille or a Bartollota's restaurant (or Holiday Inn vs. the Ritz). That being said...Noodles is an extremely well run chain and this location is as good as it gets in quick service dining. I've probably been here over 50 times (or more) over that past 8 years. My order has been correct 100% of the time. Even when the place is packed, my food has arrived quicker than I could have put water in a pot and turned the stove on to boil the water. The staff has always been friendly and there has always been someone dedicated to cleaning the lobby. The food has always been above expectations--portions are great, prices are great, service has been great, and the restaurant is always clean! I can't think of many fast food restaurants (or businesses in general) that satisfy all of those criteria! AND...if you don't like what you ordered, they'll give you a different item instead--no questions asked...Not all restaurants will do that. The Snickerdoodle Cookies are great too! And they keep adding options. Lots of vegetarian choices as well!! Oh yeah...and you don't even have to clean up after yourself!! 5 stars for Noodles on Oakland--keep up the GREAT work! read more

I love noodles but this noodles is in serious need of work. It's closer to my house but I usually drive farther for other noodles. When ordering today I could literally see a raw chicken breast on the ground, drop it, pick it up. Sitting at my table I can see 6 dirty tables .... Drop off food, than grab a couple dirty bowls. I get it, it's a college campus noodles.. But it smells and is just clearly dirty. I almost didn't want to order any food. Luckily I had a free bowl coupon and it's a little cold to moped to the Ogden location. They just need to work on keeping their area clean. Otherwise same old noodles food. I really like Noodles & Company. I have been to multiple locations and the food is always deliciously prepared, fast, and fills you up. This is a great place if you don't want a "drive thru" but still need fast service. If you are driving to this location, please remember that parking is horrible! You have to share the parking lot with Jimmy Johns so its always cramped. read more

I don't know why I keep thinking it's going to be different when I come here. Steak in the mushroom stroganoff is tough and chewy. Green curry is way too hot and the heat can't be adjusted. Penne Fresca has so much garlic I could stand to live with myself for 2 days. When I ask them to add broccoli to anything they add about 3 small pieces. First time was quick, less than a half an hour. Second time, about 45 minutes. Today, it has been almost two hours since ordering and my food is not here. I hate this Noodles. Like, I honestly will not go back to this one for any reason unless I was on the brink of death. First off all, it's been dirty numerous times I ate there. Literal trash and dirty napkins on the floor. It smells weird in there, too. Dirty tables sit for a long time to be picked up usually. I walked in with a friend once, we were both very hungry and excited for it... and we both looked around at the garbage and wet spots on the floor and we booked it out of there. But my bigger issue is the quality of their dishes. Seriously, no exaggerations.. 9 times out of 10, my noodles are burnt to the point of me not eating half my meal. They also do NOT know how to cook the tofu, which generally is burnt and very hard when I've gotten it. And the food just tastes... soggy. Don't get me wrong, I love Noodles and Company. Literally any other one I've been to has been great. But I have had horrible experiences here almost every time. They also never remember orders right. I one time wanted just plain noodles with red sauce because I figured they couldn't mess that up. It came with meatballs on it. Being a vegetarian I didn't want to eat it because the taste of the meatball was all in the sauce. I had them take it back and explained I didn't want the meatballs because I'm vegetarian.. they apologized and 10 minutes later after my friend already finished their meal, I get the same thing with meatballs again! Jesus. This place is fine when you're a college student. But other than that there is no reason to eat here unless you want to have your eyes, nose, and throat assaulted. read more

I like going to noodles once in a while. I've been to this location 3-4 times. The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is open and very clean. The only problem I have with this location in particular is that the noodles are always undercooked. I think they are prioritizing how fast they can get a dish out over how "finished" the dish is. Every time I've visited, I've had to take the dish home and cook it more. I think that is the only problem with this location and they are doing great in every other way. read more

Ok the first review for this reads like an advertisement. Noodles is not a 4 star restaurant. It is good and quick and the service is usually nice, but come on 4 stars!?
