Combo salad

One of our favorite lunch spots near Fort Belvoir! We dine here often and it never disappoint, even the kids love it! The seating area is small and can be crowded during the lunch rush but they do have a very active carry out business as well. The food is always fresh and comes out quickly. Some favorites are the ocean fries, pad Thai, garlic obsession, basil fried rice, and spicy beef salad. We honestly have not had a bad dish here and the staff are very friendly and welcoming!

Updated Review July 21, 2025 We got takeout today from Le Thai. Food was amazing. There was no lines and no traffic when arriving there to pick up our order. This is our favorite place for food & has a special place in our hearts & stomachs. ------------------------ Five Stars - A Hidden very low key food gem to experience. I heard about Le Thai from a picky & very experienced foodie, cook, & beauty & spa owner in 2023 & their unique orange chicken. She said it was different from most orange chicken & her little boy loved it a lot. I finally came here, and the food was beyond my expectations. We experienced no traffic and it was easy locating the place. We went for a late brunch around 3 PM-ish. First impressions, it seemed like a very small and low key restaurant. We ended up being the only ones in the tiny restaurant - an immense delight. The other party there left after we were served our food. The ambiance was simple, quiet, and seemed like it had the decor you would see in Asian home. The menu was exciting with so many options and the lunch menu special was ideal in options and low affordable prices. I decided to get the orange chicken as a takeout and select the lunch special of green curry with chicken (an old favorite of mine) with spring rolls. My husband decided to get the shrimp fried rice. For a fun and new experience with something I never tried before. I selected the Thai Coffee (recommended by my server). My husband got the Thai Tea. Our server was Pearl. She was professional, excellent in providing recommendations, and very amicable. I liked her immediately and rarely like servers that swiftly. She expedited food and services swiftly and efficiently. She was very intuitive and required little & no prompting as a server. The Thai coffee she recommended was the best coffee I ever tasted. She mentioned how wonderful the tilapia entree was and that is in my future meal order at this place. We loved how delicious and fresh our food was. The green curry was good. My husband ate all of his shrimp fried rice quickly despite not feeling hungry. The portions were large for such low prices. I ate only half of my green curry and half of one spring roll. Saved the rest for dinner and had it packaged to go with my orange chicken take out. We plan to make this a future date place and a place to order food from in the near future. The best way to order food is through them directly and not through other services like Grub hub. Pearl gave us the Le Thai card with scan code to get access to the menu & to order from them.

Above and beyond at this tiny eatery: I described a dish i had once eaten and they tried to recreate it for me. They may be small (5 tables) but the food quality is high--and the takeout/delivery drivers constantly coming in are proof of that. I enjoyed fried tofu before my custom curry dish. So good!

Chicken Wings with thai chili sauce

I love the food. It is always hot and fresh. The dining area is small with only 5 tables, but quaint. Service was good. Staff checked on us without hovering, very laid back. I will return to try more dishes.

Pad Thai Spring Rolls

I had the pad thai and spring rolls. The pad thai was different than other Thai places I've been too. It had the thin noodles but I niece they add thicker noodles as well (which I wasn't upset about because it made the dish more filling and is a HUGE bang for your buck). The spring rolls were good. Overall, definitely adding them to my list of restaurants

Le Thai Cuisine is usually okay for me, but the soft shell crab meal was meh. Didn't like the taste of the crab. I'll stick to my go-to basil fried rice next time.

Coffee

This local family owned restaurant has been a favorite for a while. They have a variety of tasty dishes and it's impossible to choose a favorite amongst them all. Service is great for sit in and take out. Everyone is always kind regardless of how busy they are! I had the pleasure of working with Pearl today and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. The ambience is casual and the music keeps the atmosphere light and relaxing. This has been a local favorite for a couple of years and will certainly be a place of return.

Pad Thai, Red Curry, Papaya Salad with Shrimp

This is a cute, cozy Thai restaurant! My husband and I ate here for lunch and the food is amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving Thai food!

Mango Sticky Rice

My brother and I drove by and saw a strip mall align with multiple eateries in which we had to choose on this rainy day. This restaurant is small, cozy and manageable. They have some decor and you're greeted immediately with a smile. You can feel the warmth and easygoing melodies while you eat. We ordered four items: 1) Massaman curry 2) Drunken noodle 3) Mango sticky rice 4) Coconut tres leches. The massaman curry was good but a tad sweet for our taste. The sweetness of the broth overpowered the spicy flavor that we were use to. The drunken noodles with beef were on point. It had the right amount of heat that will make your forehead sweat ..lol. It was very aromatic and so far the best I've tasted. For the mango sticky rice was a plus especially with pandan infused in the coconut sticky rice but unfortunately we can't predict how sweet the mango will be. It was tasty though. The highlight of our trip was the coconut tres leches. We were both surprised of how moist, divine and absolutely delicious it was! If I could, I would order this cake for my next birthday. I will definitely make a return visit to try other items on their menu.

We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

So chic, not the usual Thai Restaurant interior. The staff were so personable. And THE FOOD is fantastic! I am glad we stopped by and checkout this place. While we were waiting the two ladies beside our table told us that this is one of their favorite places to eat at. And when we had our food, we understand why. It's so fresh, from the meat to the side dishes. I feel like I am back in Thailand. When I was researching on this restaurant, I found out that the chef taught in Bangkok culinary school. No wonder why this place is a gem! This place is amazing and highly recommend to try. Note: The portion is big and so you are getting what you pay for. Parking is shared and a lot of spaces. That's how I spend many of my days off as a restaurant owner myself. My experience started off on the wrong foot when I was directed to a very small table for one. I politely explained several times that I typically order a substantial amount of food and would need more space. I was told the larger tables were reserved and that tables could be pushed together later if needed. As the meal progressed, a longtime friend of mine who works there came out to say hello. Shortly afterward, tables were combined, apologies were offered, and the experience improved significantly. What left me puzzled was that many of the larger "reserved" tables remained empty throughout my visit. By the time I left around 5:00 PM, they still had not been used. The food was mixed. I came specifically for the Khao Mun Gai, one of Thailand's most iconic dishes. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. The chicken was average, the rice was decent, and the accompanying soup lacked depth and flavor. On the positive side, the Crackin' Belly was excellent--crispy, flavorful, and well executed. The Pad Thai Siam Shrimp was solid, and while the Tom Sab soup had good flavor, it was a bit too spicy for my preference. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The space is modern, clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. Easily one of the nicer Thai restaurant interiors in Northern Virginia. One additional detail stood out. My friend joined me briefly for a toast. I ordered a double bourbon, and he ordered a shot. All three shots appeared on my bill, totaling $45. While not a major issue, it felt like a missed opportunity for hospitality given the circumstances. In the end, my bill was approximately $163 for a solo meal. My biggest takeaway wasn't the food--it was the inconsistency in hospitality. The experience improved dramatically after I was recognized, and every guest should feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk through the door, regardless of appearance or assumptions about what they may spend. The restaurant has a talented kitchen, a beautiful dining room, and plenty of potential. With more consistent hospitality, this could easily become a destination Thai restaurant.

It was the best decision I've made all month. There is something about a woman-owned gem that just hits the spot--the attention to detail, the welcoming energy, and of course, the incredible food. The moment you walk in, the aesthetic sets the mood. The teal wood-paneled walls paired with those gorgeous woven basket pendant lights draped in cherry blossoms? Absolute magic. It's chic, cozy, and felt like a little escape. I went all out on the menu and wasn't disappointed: * Chive Dumplings: These were the star of the show. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with a savory dipping sauce that I could have finished with a spoon. * Vegetable Soup: Light, clear, and packed with fresh, vibrant veggies. It was the perfect "reset" bowl. * Crab Fried Rice: They did not skimp on the crab! It was fresh, fluffy, and paired perfectly with a cold, crisp Singha beer. Whether you're celebrating a holiday or just need to romanticize your life with some top-tier Thai food, this is the place. The service was lovely, the Mother's Day special menu was a thoughtful touch, and the atmosphere is 10/10. Chef's kiss. I'll definitely be back!

Yindee was comfortable and clean. The server, who might have been the owner or manager, was very reserved, unsmiling and not welcoming at all. He was fine at taking my order and bringing out my food, but he never checked up on me. However, another woman in the restaurant called out a friendly thank you as I was leaving. This is a restaurant with a bar, noting that the bar is well-stocked. Unfortunately, FOX News was on the TV behind the bar. At least the sound was off so I didn't have to hear the lies. I ordered Beef Phad Thai and a Thai Iced Coffee. The Beef Phad Thai was outstanding, really delicious with plenty of beef and just a little scallion. Loved the scrambled egg on top. Probably some of the best Phad Thai I've ever had! The Phad Thai came with a complimentary egg roll that was accompanied by fresh greens with a delightful light ginger dressing. Normally it seems chefs go overboard with ginger, but here's an example of using just the right amount. The Thai Iced Coffee came in a generous portion, but had an odd bitter flavor. The great Phad Thai is what motivates me to come back. If it wasn't for the Phad Thai, this review would have been three stars.
